Shipping and Delivery Guide
This page explains how your order actually gets to you, what the different delivery types mean, and what to expect at each stage. For the formal terms, see our Shipping Policy.
Where your order ships from
We are an authorized dealer, not a marketplace reseller. Orders ship directly from the manufacturer’s or brand’s United States distribution warehouse to your address. There is no overseas transit leg and no repackaging in between.
Shipping direct from the brand is why your product arrives factory-sealed with a valid manufacturer warranty, and why we can carry over 180 brands without holding inventory on all of them.
Processing and transit
Processing and transit times vary by brand, product, and destination. Made to order and custom fabricated items carry longer lead times than stocked items.
If you need a firm delivery estimate before you buy, contact us with the model number and your ZIP code and we will confirm it with the manufacturer. We would rather give you a real date than a generic one.
Delivery types explained
Parcel (UPS, FedEx, USPS)
Smaller and lighter items. Left at your door. No appointment, no signature in most cases.
Curbside freight (LTL)
The standard method for large or heavy items such as patio sets, fire pit tables, vanities, and wine racking systems. A freight carrier calls you to schedule a delivery appointment, usually a multi-hour window on a weekday.
Important: curbside means the driver brings the shipment to the end of your driveway or the curb and no further. The driver is not required to carry it inside, upstairs, or around the property. Plan to have help available, and be aware that a single large crate can be heavy enough to need two or three people.
Threshold and white glove
Some brands offer upgraded delivery where the item is brought inside the first doorway (threshold) or into the room of choice with unpacking and debris removal (white glove). Availability and cost vary by brand and item. Ask us before ordering if you need it.
What happens after you order
- You receive an order confirmation email immediately with your order number.
- We place the order with the brand and confirm stock.
- You receive a shipping confirmation with carrier and tracking as soon as the item leaves the warehouse.
- For freight shipments, the carrier contacts you directly to schedule an appointment. Watch for that call. Missed appointments can trigger redelivery or storage fees from the carrier.
- You inspect at delivery. Please read our Freight and Delivery Damage Claims page before your delivery date.
Getting ready for a freight delivery
- Confirm a full-size truck can reach your address. Narrow, steep, gated, or unpaved access may require a smaller truck or a terminal pickup.
- Have two or more people available on the appointment day.
- Clear the path from curb to where the item is going.
- Measure doorways, stairwells, and turns against the crate dimensions, not the assembled product dimensions.
- Keep your phone available during the delivery window.
Backorders and delays
If a brand puts your item on backorder after you place the order, we notify you with the revised date and you can choose to wait or cancel for a full refund. We will not sit on a delay and hope you do not notice.
