The bed was delivered quickly and was well packaged. The pieces arrived in good condition and the quality of the frame is beautiful. The assembly process was cumbersome due to the need to use an Allan key in a fairly confined space and it took longer than expected to get the bed assembled. Once assembled, we loved the beautiful design that has become a statement piece in our bedroom. Overall, we are very happy with our purchase!

The bed oozes quality, along with the matching night stand tables. The only bad thing is that it took the delivery guys 2 hours to put together, and they said there were hundreds of screws. If will be hard to move if we ever leave! But it’s really a nice bed, very well made.

We LOVE it! It came packaged so well that it could have been dropped from a helicopter and it'd have been fine. It took a bit to put together but the instructions were clear and it really went together relatively easily. It is exactly what we wanted. We got it in walnut and it is beautiful. We'll be purchasing the matching nightstands to go with it. Very solid, very heavy, and amazingly well built. By far the best bedframe we've ever had. Highly recommended.

It’s been a month now and I can see the bed is very well built. Sturdy and strong for all kinds of activities. Has soft little feet on all the legs so it doesn’t scratch the floors. Very nice.

It's gorgeous and the low height makes it feel extra cozy somehow. The quality is awesome. It comes in several pieces (very well packed!) and is easy to put together with two people (for a king size). The delivery was easy to coordinate as the customer service people were very helpful and communicative. Most of our house is mid-century, but we'll probably purchase more contemporary pieces from Rove for our bedroom.

If you assemble this bed properly, which takes some patience and an extra set of hands, you’re guaranteed a solid platform to sleep on that also looks great. My wife and I experience zero motion transfer or noise as we move in the night. It’s a very low platform, so if you have trouble standing up from low sitting positions, this bed may not be for you.

Exactly as expected from the images. The material is quality and looks great! I am glad, however, that I paid extra for the white glove delivery because assembly was more than anticipated.

The bed is beautiful. However the styrofoam packaging is a real turn off. Can you replace it with cardboard or another material that does not damage the environment as much?

I appreciate the quality of the entire hunter set. I'll be ordering from Rove Concepts again soon.

I just received my order of a Hunter bed in the ash colour. It seems very well made and extremely solid. It looks exactly as pictured on the website, and I am very pleased with this bed so far.

We love the bed so much!! It’s absolutely beautiful and makes the room and whole house feel so modern and expensive. The quality is outstanding and it’s like actual furniture that I want to keep and cherish unlike an IKEA bed. We debated with the purchase because it’s pricier but I couldn’t be more happy and content with our choice!

The Hunter Bed is everything we dreamed of and more. Made out of sturdy oak, the Hunter Bed is built to last. Build quality was excellent and colour perfectly matches photos. Shipping from Rove can take a bit longer if you live on the East coast, however I appreciated the option of customizing my delivery date and time prior to arrival.

This is my first order from Rove concept. Quality, delivery and service is great. I can complain only shipping cost and store reward point. Because i ordered 2 weeks later office desk bur i couldn't use my reward because i have to wait 6 weeks for that one plus i paid another $399.00 another shipping fee.

absolutely in love with this bad. Color is just like the picture, love the original wood frame with unique asymmetrical view. It's very low tho, but that's what I love about. Thought I would hurt myself a lot from the frame (I tend to hit my leg to the frame a lot) but it actually never happened so far. Would recommend it!

Great bed, we’ll made and comfortable

This bed is super cool and has a great profile. We are going to add a long ceiling light on both sides to bring the eye up when you look at it.

I looked for a cal king platform bed for well over a year, I just could not find the one that I had imagined and fantasized about. Then one day I stumbled across the Hunter bed. It was exactly the style I wanted, and no one else had anything that looked anywhere close to it, but there was no showroom for me to look at; so I took a chance and ordered it. I ordered in May and received it in early September via white glove delivery. The team that came to set it up was very professional and efficient. The bed is of very high quality, sturdy and solid which exceeded my expectations and looks amazing in my room. I am 100% satisfied with this purchase and it looks great with the matching nightstands!

It took a while for the bed to come in. However it is beautiful, worth to wait. Very heavy and sturdy. I definitely recommend it.

Extremely well put together bed, especially when someone else puts it together. Get the white glove delivery. Ask politely (via telephone) if it's not available when you check out (and do it before it ships). We put our articulating mattress frame on top of the platform as it was designed for this purpose, so we have the most comfortable bed with this beautiful structural and modern wood base and headboard. Paired with the nightstands it looks amazing. Those have soft close drawers with frosted glass top (also earning 5 stars!). I'll see if I can upload a photo later.

It took about 1.5 hours for two people to assemble - the headboard took some time. We couldn't be happier with this purchase. Strongly recommend!

The bed is beautiful and feels SOLID. The assembly was long and somewhat challenging, requiring two people at times to lift heavy parts. But it came together perfectly and fulfills our needs perfectly. Low to ground, modern, handsome. Very pleased with the purchase!

I would definitely recommend not just the bed, but Rove Concepts in general. I was hesitant as I had not heard of this company prior to ordering, but I went ahead and gave it a try since I really liked the design. The bed and nightstands came very timely (they were both in stock) and very well packaged. The furniture is very sturdy and high quality. My only complaint is that we received an incomplete set of instructions and had to find them online. All the packaging was also hard to get rid of in an environmentally friendly way, but these are small concerns. I'm super happy with the bed set and hope to get more things from Rove Concepts in the future!

Overall great quality of bed and I am happy with it. The wood is solid and as accurate as described in the website. It is definitely worth the money. Two things though, 1) it is a bit hard to assemble the head piece and I wish there was a much detailed and hand on explaining document or video showing how. 2) after putting the mattress, there is a gap between head board and the mattress sometimes pillow will fall into.

Sturdy, quality bed and low like I wanted.

The bed is extremely solid and looks just like the photos, although the finish (ash) is more matte than I was expecting. The pieces are quite heavy and it's physically difficult to put together - especially if you try to do it yourself. The holes in the metal corner brackets didn't align well with the receiving holes in the frame and were extremely difficult to get all of the bolts in. (I discovered if you attach to the head/foot first and then the sides it's a little easier, but still not that easy). I'd also recommend using a ratchet set with hex bit instead of the provided allen wrenches, as there are a LOT of socket cap bolts. Also the provided washers to attach the side rails weren't big enough to work properly - one side of each one would inevitably slip into the slot that they're supposed to keep the bolt out of. I used a few of my own instead. Packaging was top notch and everything I ordered arrived in flawless condition.

Make sure you can help with unloading. We are geezers and so is our FedEx guy. Some of the boxes are heavy. But this is just what we wanted - exactly as you'd expect from the pictures.Only other minor issue is that the video (which definitely helped us) doesn't include the yellow metal brackets that link the four sides of the bottom of the frame together.

I LOVE this bed. It came in a lot of boxes and packed very well (a little too well, it took us an hour just to break down the boxes to throw away). It also took a long time to put the bed together, I should have paid the extra money for someone to do it. All in all, very great purchase, it looks amazing and is great quality. Very sturdy.

Damaged parts were replaced really quickly and the local delivery company was really nice and fast with arrangement for delivery. Very good quality!

Color was lighter than expected, but still very pretty bed. White glove delivery was very quick. Both sideboards have a splintering issue with the veneer, but I'm working with Rove to get replacement pieces. All around happy as long as I get the sideboards replaced.

It is very sturdy and heavy because of the solid engineered wood and because of the thick metal braces that hold it together. Even the parts you don't see are beautifully made.

The rich walnut color is beautiful and matches perfectly with my other bedroom furniture. The slats fit perfectly along with my Casper mattress.
