Rove Concepts Maria Sofa

Wide and long, love the brass legs and the Walnut finish.Velvet feels good on the skin; would have prefered to have additional colors instead of limiting it to just 3.

I am extremely pleased with the Maria sofa. I paid for the White Glove delivery which ended up being a wise decision since it required some assembly which was unexpected for me. The delivery guys did a nice job with putting it together but put them behind since they’d only been allotted 20 minutes for delivery. The fabric feels wonderful and the wood pieces are beautifully finished.

Just as pictured. Base cusion is firm now, so thinking it will soften a bit. White glove delivery staff were excellent.

Clean minimalist lines with a luxurious feel to the seating. The wood adds a warmth to the product. It fits in beautifully in my loft.

This couch has a super soft fabric and a firm seat. I like the single cushion and the depth of the couch. Very happy with purchase :)

Loved the couch. Quality of construction was exceptional. Very comfortable...so much that our dogs have claimed it the day of installation!

`The sofa is lovely. The warm taupe colour leans to an ‘almost’ green colour. It is very heavy and well built with an extra wide, firm, base cushion. The material is a lush, low pile velvet and very comfortable. It was very easy to assemble.Ordering and delivery were both easy, and painless. The delivery team sent many emails to arrange and confirm delivery time, and Rove also checked in through emails when the first delivery time had to be changed due to poor weather conditions.Unfortunately, while the packaging (which was very well done) did not show signs of damage, when we opened the side panel there was a small area where the veneer had been ‘crumbled’. Because the wrapping was unaffected, it looks like the damage occurred prior to packing. Rove Concepts was very quick to respond to my concerns and have handed my claim over the department that handles these situations. I have not heard from claims department as of yet, but am hopeful that a replacement arm can be sent. I will update the review once a resolution is in place.

This sofa is so absolutely beautiful in person! From start to finish the experience with ordering from Rove Concepts was wonderful. Delivery was seamless. And the couch is so high quality and comfy. It is very heavy so please keep that in mind as is at least a two person job to assemble. But we are delighted with the result.

My partner and I love this couch!! We saw it initially at their warehouse sale and fell in love. We ordered it online and it is such a nice addition to our space. It is comfy, offers so much space to sit on and was quite straightforward to assemble. Would recommend to anyone!

Beautiful couch but after a couple of days of sitting on the sofa ( minimum time on the couch of no more than 20 min at a time ) we noticed that the cushions had rippled in it every 6 inches . Rove said it could be how it had been stored in the box for too long but that it should get better order time. Other than that this is a beautiful couch. The construction is well made, a heavy solid couch. The bench is also very nice

One of my favourite pieces so far. Very “different” looking sofa and you can also “see” just how good the quality is in the build.

What a beautiful sofa. Quality is awesome and it costed a fraction of the price of comparable sofa in stores. We just ordered the matching bench to complete. Can't wait to receive it.

The sofa is exactly as we envisaged it. It is a great size where two people can lie on it comfortable. It is firm and very stylish, and we love that the olive green is a bit different to what you normally see. One word of warning though: It is very heavy, and you definitely need some help getting it into your house. We had four people!

Our Maria sofas are stunning! The fabric is soft, the colour is gorgeous and warm. They are so comfortable and look wonderful in our lounge room. They are very heavy and sturdy and the legs were easy to put on. Could not be happier with these couches!

I love my Maria sofa. The velvet is soooo soft. The wood base adds a sense of nature and relax to it. Even though the wood at one armrest broken a bit likely due to shipping, I still want to give it a 5 star.

Color is a bit off, or maybe i didn’t do a good job recognizing the swatch colors.

Loved this sofa but unfortunately, it would not fit in the elevator so we had to return it. We were so sad because it is beautiful. If you are in an apartment make sure you triple-check the measurements the delivery person told us that almost every time they bring it to apartment buildings it gets returned because it can't fit.

This sofa is absolutely beautiful. The wood veneer is so nice, you will definitely want this in an open concept space where the back is visible. This is our second sofa from Rove Concepts and we are amazed at the quality. The only downside is all of the styrofoam and cardboard you're stuck with after it arrives.

A beautiful modern sofa with a solid wood frame that looks as good as the pictures! Overall, we love the minimal and clean look of this sofa. The beautiful wood frame has made this sofa the centrepiece in our living room. The only downsides are that it is very heavy (to be expected since it's solid wood) and the bottom seat cushion does not stay firm when you get off it (you can see it in the photos).The delivery and order process was pretty smooth. We ordered it on March 24, it was shipped on March 31 and arrived in Toronto from Vancouver on April 14th. Fairly fast shipping considering it was coming from the other side of the country and how heavy and big it is.We also took advantage of Rove's Host program to see the coach in other customers' homes before placing the order which made the online purchase more reassuring.

Excellent and very good quality. You will get lots of compliments from your friends. Trust me.

The sofa is very comfy and elegant. You can easily sleep on it. Very sturdy, good quality materials. Very wide and spacious too. The deliver was sooner than expected.

This is a well made beautiful sofa with a firm feel. The taupe was darker in colour than appears in the photograph.

Wonderful couch. The website refers to the Maria as being soft, although I would consider it a medium plush feel. The colour does vary a lot depending on the way the light hits it.

This is the most beautiful, minimalist, comfortable sofa I've ever owned. I choose the white felt fabric, which is soft to touch but seems durable. Beautifully low seats, which reminds me of sofas I bought from Tokyo. Lovely.

love the feel and look of the sofa

it looks modern and has nice lines. The wood is attractive. Ours arrived in good shape and looks just like the picture. It is comfortable, with a deeper seat than we had previously. It is a firm seat. The back cushions are softer and supportive. We are somewhat tall, six feet plus, so the deeper seat is good for us. Can't say how it will feel for shorter people. The extra back cushions, however, allows for quite a bit of customization in terms of how deep the seat sits.

We love how deep this sofa is! More than enough seating space for two, which is perfect for us couple. One thing I worry about is I start to feel the middle/edge of the cushion starting to dip a little after a month of use. I hope it doesn’t wear down too fast.

We love our new Maria Sofa, she is elegant and still super comfortable. The material is soft and high quality. We were disappointed to see the tag on the bottom of the sofa reads “made in China” as we were under the impression, from browsing the Rove website that all products were made “locally” in Vancouver, BC. We felt like we had been fooled when we reread the small print online, which was very difficult to find. We love the product but supporting Canadian made is high priority for us so this was a very disappointing realization. We were also surprised with the terrible tracking and delivery system. Our tracking never updated online, when we got an email that the couch was on route it said to expect two days before any updates and that we’d be contacted to arrange delivery. To our pleasant surprise the couch was at our home two days later, which is great but we had no heads up about delivery, the delivery driver would not help move the couch and it was extremely heavy. Due to all the snow my husband had to quickly get it into the garage and hire movers to carry it upstairs. As a mom of a toddler I was annoyed by this, if my husband had not been home for lunch, I don’t know where the driver would have left our very expensive couch. We love the couch itself but overall, this service felt like a cheap and detached company, not the luxurious brand Rove markets themselves to be.

Love this collection!

Everything we expected. The blush pink is perfectly subtle and the velvet is beautifully soft. Was touch and go getting the box through the front door; had to remove al packaging but managed to squeeze through. The depth of the sofa is what wins it over for us; the extra space to lay makes it perfect for a relaxing TV night in.

Great look!

Other than the tiny/weak clear floor protector/furniture slider that fell upon placing it on the floor, it's a beautiful piece! The plastic clear floor protectors on legs are too small and weak - not strong enough for the size and weight of the sofa.

Judging from the quality of the components, I'm sure I'm going to be very happy with this sofa when I assemble it. It arrived an hour before I left for vacation and I just returned so I can't speak to how easy or difficult assembly is. But I'm feeling confident that this is the sofa I've been looking for.
