How size changes the price
Size is the clearest price driver. The Prism Hardscapes Tavola line shows it because material and finish stay the same. In the Pewter finish with propane, the Tavola 2 (36 x 36 in) lists at $2,280, the Tavola 3 (48 x 48 in) at $2,954, the Tavola 4 (38 x 66 in) at $3,456, the Tavola 5 (80 in) at $3,702 and the Tavola 6 (38 x 90 in) at $4,440.

Material: steel, wicker, concrete and stone
Aluminum and wicker
Aluminum and resin wicker hold the entry tier, from $246.50 for the Leisuremod Mace. Direct Wicker’s oval table pairs PE rattan with an aluminum frame and tempered glass top at $1,258. Patio Resorts uses a rust-proof powder coated aluminum frame on the Paris 49 in square at $1,780.50.
Concrete fire table cost
Concrete fire table cost depends on what “concrete” means. The 60 in table at $1,563.99 has a magnesium oxide housing with a concrete look. Prism Hardscapes tables are glass fiber reinforced cement (GFRC), hand finished with a patina process, and start at $2,280. Prism also charges more for its Ultra White finish: the Tavola 2 lists at $2,964 in Ultra White versus $2,280 in other colors, and the Tavola 6 at $5,778 versus $4,440.
Stone and granite tops
The Patio Resorts Rome 48 in round has a granite top with a matching granite cover and lists at $2,036.83, about $256 more than the similar size aluminum Paris square.
Gas fire table price: propane vs natural gas
On the tables we checked, fuel type rarely changes the sticker price. Prism Hardscapes generally lists its propane and natural gas Tavola versions at the same price, for example $2,280 for either Tavola 2. Patio Resorts ships the Paris rectangle for propane with an optional natural gas conversion kit sold separately.
The real difference is setup. A propane table runs from a 20 lb tank you buy separately. A natural gas table needs a gas line run to the spot, which is a job for a licensed gas fitter or plumber, and local code has the final word on the route, shutoff and permits. Set vs table alone
A set bundles seating with the table, so the price jump is mostly furniture. The Leisuremod Chelsea aluminum fire table alone is $616, while the Chelsea 5-piece set with chairs and a fire pit table is $999. The Patio Resorts Paris 49 in square table is $1,780.50 alone and $6,096.23 as a 5-piece deep seating group. Direct Wicker’s 5-piece gray rattan dining sofa set with fire pit table lists at $2,699. If you already own patio seating, buying the table alone saves the most.
Total fire pit table cost: what to budget besides the table
- Cover: some tables include one (the 60 in concrete table includes a rain cover). Otherwise our listings run from $48 for a Leisuremod Chelsea rectangle cover to $105.45 to $296.40 for HPC vinyl fire pit covers by size.
- Propane tank: most propane tables list the tank as not included. Budget for a 20 lb tank and refills.
- Tank holder or cover: some tables hide the tank inside; others need a separate holder. The Endless Summer black steel tank cover lists at $99.95.
- Fire glass or lava rock: Prism Tavola tables include lava rock, and the 60 in table includes lava rocks. Patio Resorts lists fire glass as sold separately; Amantii fire glass runs $119 to $139 per 5 lb bag in our catalog.
- Wind guard: optional, for example $337.77 for a Patio Resorts round fire pan guard and $366.10 for the rectangle version.
- Gas line installation: only for natural gas. Get a written quote from a licensed pro and follow local code.
- Delivery: free freight shipping on orders of $999 or more; $200 flat below that.
