Good Replacement. Exactly what I needed, and it was simple to install/replace the old one.

After ten years I had to replace control panel. The replacement control panel works like the original one which I have had this smoker for 10 plus years, excellent smoker for whatever you want to smoke!!

received wrong digital control panel for my smoker. I purchased a digital control panel and it does not fit my smoker. It is the part number that was in the book. How do I return this?

Control board sticker. The black decal that indicates the temp and tine is beginning to curl at the edges. How can i get another replacement short of purchasing the entire board? Thank you.

Worst customer service I've ever seen. Absolutely. Got the wrong part. Can't get help from customer service. Masterbuilt Customer Support sucks. I've tried reaching out with no reply

Easy Fix. Extremely easy to change out and works well! I was worried that I would have to replace the whole smoker!

Incorrect part. This is not the correct control panel for my unit.

Earth to Masterbuilt ! Apparently there are other electrical issues as the new control panel did not work. After going on line & trying to load a PDF on trouble shooting my smoker, with no sucess, and unable to reach anyone by phone, I've decided to buy a competitor's product.

My smoker’s heating element went out. That ordering this part did not fix the problem…nor did your customer service even care that it didn’t…

Digital Control Panel. Easy installation, but hard to read in direct sunlight.

Failed control unit. Replacing the original control unit that had the LED portion that failed.

Worked twice. Use this control panel twice and then it quit! Useless.

dim display? I can barly read this display. Can't read in daylight. Can only read at night in the dark?

Poor customer service. I purchased a replacement part and realized the part wasn’t the problem. The electric smoker itself was the problem. It shorts out every circuit I plug it in to. Customer service is very poor and I cannot reach anyone to see about returning the control panel kit.

Works Great. Prior control panel went bad (dim and inconsitant) a couple of years ago, and at that time, the price for a replacement was beyound our means. Checked recently, and it was more affordable so now I can see what I am doing with the new control.

Control panel died. Tried to get a new one. sold out request when. Got notice. Tried again. Sold out.this is stored inside 3000 sq.ft. shop. Not outside.now I am waiting again. Now i am beginning to smoke. Not happy. Waiting.

Installed properly and doesn’t work. Bought new controller and it still doesn’t work. Emailed you for some assistance, and all y’all tell me is I’m out of warranty. Smoker still doesn’t work. Going to put whole thing to the curb and buy a real smoker.

Easy swap. The LED on the original control panel was starting to fail. The replacement was a reasonable price and easy to swap out (2 screws and a plug). We LOVE our smoker and this will add some extra life to it. The only suggestion would be to update the design so the control panel is more weatherproof.

Makes slow cooking easy. I purchased this smoker a couple of weeks ago to replace a older model of the same smoker. It was 20 years old and the element burned out so I decided to replace the smoker. I since decided to fix the old one and I gave it to my daughter. It works fine for her. These smokers make cooking easy....

Back to Smoking. Display was dying on the old control. New control corrected the problem. Hope it holds up better than the original.

Affordable, Easy Process. Quick easy ordering process, shipped and received quickly

Replacement part. Replacement digital control panel arrived on time and was easy to install. Works like new. Sad, however, that the original part failed in less than three years of moderate use. Hard to set and monitor time and temperature when LED is burned out.

Replacement control panel. I replaced he digital controller because the smoker would only operate at 300 degrees, with the replacement it runs at 125 degrees regardless of the temp I set it at.

Bad panel. This is the third panel on this five year old smoker, it is always covered, smoker works great, but control panel not so great

Annual Replacement. Annual need to replace part after minimal use. $30. a pop for 1-2 summer outings. I would not buy brand again

Need help troubleshooting- no response. I bought the digital control panel and it performed exactly like the one I replaced. I sent in a help request for advice on troubleshooting and have no reply. So my smoker won't work,

Easy fix. fast shipping, and the product was as described. 5 minite fix.

Poor Design. I had to replace this control module after two seasons of running. Obviously this is an outdoor smoker, however Masterbuilt chose to make the controller screen out of a cheap LCD panel. Again, its outdoors, and the sun burned out the panel after two seasons. The replacement cost $40. I had to make my own "rigged" system of a cover to protect it going forward. You would think either the unit would come with some kind of cover, or be built to withstand sunshine. Highly disappointed.

Don't buy a Masterbuilt. I have had a Masterbuilt Smoker for 3 years. I've gone through 3 of these control units. The smokes get into it and corrodes the connections. Buyer beware!

Don't buy. Would not recommend purchasing. Find something else.

Got part of what I asked for. Needed two parts and got one. No response received from Masterbuilt on my request for the second part. Apparently, because my review contained some negatives, it isn’t fit for the website?

Easy replacement. Love my Masterbuilt smoker. But had allowed the wires coming from the control panel to apparently be chewed by squirrels. There were other user errors in there as well, like leaving it out in the rain too many times. Anyway, after a couple of years of trying a poor fix, which sometimes worked, and sometimes didn't, I went on the MB web site and ordered a replacement console. A very reasonable $30. Simply plugged it in to the existing wiring and back in business. Really appreciate the easy access to replacement parts. Greatly extends the life of a product--and good to see a company practicing something other than planned obsolescence.
