Masterbuilt 9904210023 – Fan Kit, CGT18G1A

Does anyone at Masterbuilt really care? The draft fan on my Gravity Series(tm) 560 smoker had melted (not sure why) and I needed a replacement. Masterbuilt's parts website listed exactly one fan kit and it didn't have a picture next to it. I attempted to contact Masterbuilt's support organization three separate times to see if that was the correct fan. For my first attempt I used the "contact us" web form on the website. I received no response. For my second attempt I called the published phone number for Masterbuilt. A recording told me I had reached Masterbuilt, so I left a message stating my business and requesting a call back. Two weeks later I still hadn't heard from anyone at Masterbuilt. For my third and final attempt I used the "contact us" web form again and this time I received a nice automated reply telling me that they were very busy and it might take s long as 7-10 business days before they could answer me. Heartened, I waited two weeks after which, deeply disappointed, I gave up all hope of ever hearing from Masterbuilt. Desperate, and having nowhere else to turn, I purchased the only fan kit on Masterbuilt's site. $30 and two weeks later, the fan arrived and it was the wrong one. It would have cost me more to return it than I paid for it, so I'm out $30 with nothing to show but an inoperative smoker.
