Masterbuilt 9907160014 – Digital Control Panel Kit

Jury still out on this product! This is my 2nd control panel, my 1st one lasted 6 times using my smoker. Had to wait 2 months for a replacement. Bought the 1st smoker from Amazon. Hopefully this controller last longer. Upset you cannot call Masterbult direct and talk to an agent.

Digital controller replacement. Very poor customer service. Took months to get the part. When the part arrived it was not functioning = Smoker is still broken. Had to get a different brand in the meantime. I absolutely cannot give this company a single penny more for their failures. Prior to that, it was the best smoker I've ever used. Too bad they fall flat when supporting their product.

Cover is flimsy. I waited for this on backorder for two months. The last one was not weatherproof and stopped working. This one works thankfully but the adhesive plastic cover doesn’t stick and this one will surely stop working at some point if I don’t protect it from rain. Annoying because I don’t want it under a roof as it will turn the roof black from smoke. Not sure why Masterbuilt can’t make a weatherproof version of this.

Perfect Replacement Part. I purchased my Masterbuilt Electric smoker in December of 2020 and we enjoyed some great pulled pork and some other delicious items smoked in the black box. This summer, as we prepared for a family gathering, I dusted off the smoker and discovered that it was unresponsive. I checked all the usual suspects and concluded that the control panel was snafu’d. Checked around snd found some replacement part that cost half as much as the smoker and eventually found a back ordered part fro MB for a reasonable price plus shipping. Part arrived and promptly installed, but to my chagrin, it still was unresponsive. Oh well. I poked around a little more and concluded that the most reasonable thing to do was replace the entire smoker. On to Lowe’s and back home with a much larger, easier to control pellet smoker by Pit Boss. Sorry Masterbuilt, your product just didn’t earn my loyalty.

While it worked was fine should last more than 6mo. Can not get parts after 6 months of limited use the digital control panel stopped working

Wrong items. Yes I put my model number I. While getting parts Needed a control panel . When I git it it was shipped damaged , no one got back to me after many massages . Ordered three items using my model number , all three are fit different smokers. Called the company, due to COVID no manned phone lines , nice ! Went to the website , found contact us . Sent in my info said I needed a return . I get not a single reply, I more Masterbuilt I for me ever again !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Works. Free shipping. Expensive. This was a replacement control panel so obviously the original does not work anymore. It cost $30. It is plastic with a cheap circuit board. It probably costs Masterbuilt about a dollar to make. But it works, and I had no choice except to buy a new smoker. Smoke on.

Controller. Haven’t had a chance to try it but sure it is great. M

Worked like a charm! Buttons stopped working after about 1 year of use. Installed this and working like new again!

On my Third ONE! Well you keep telling me to write a review on this Digital Control Panel. Well im on my third Panel now. this time i had to purchase the last one because there are not doing warranty on the phone. The first panel just stopped working, my second one i could not read the display anymore. if i knew about the digital display being a problem i would have returned this product. the smoker is ok. i use it alot! like A lot. the paint is peeling. doesnt smoke at low temp like 225.

Doesn’t work. Plugged it in and it displays EAA1 and then shows the temp of 32 degrees; it’s currently 92 outside.

Product failing again. We had to order a replacement control panel because the one that came with smoker purchased May 2020 went out completely. Now the new one is going out. It randomly flashes and beeps the entire time. This product overall has been very disappointing especially for a smoker that cost over $300.

Works great and easy to use. Using it for first time today. My only complaint is that the digital readout is hard to see in bright light.

Took care of the problem. The product came quickly. It was easy to install. Works great! Would definitely buy from them again.

works great. I was having temperature sensor problems and thought i would try the new control panel and so far so good.

PERFECT FIT. CONTROL PANEL ASSEMBLY WAS CORRECT FOR THE MASTERBUILT SMOKER I HAD BOUGHT 3 YEARS AGO. CONNECTED UP WITHOUT ANY ISSUES.

EASY! Two screws, one plug, and done! SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN IT SOONER.

The new panel was great. Had to buy this new panel due to the old one dying after a year. Got no support from the vendor nor masterbuilt.

Digital control panel. My smoker digital panel died on me after 2 years. I got a replacement. Fingers crossed that it last longer than 2 years.

Control panel. So great to have the digital time and temp back. I really did not like guessing the temperature. last time i did ribs over cooked. Such a bummer. ( this was before i got the replacement controller) Masterbuilt customer service was very helpful and friendly. I will stay with masterbuilt for a long time.
