Amazfit Bip 5

Liked this a lot but the part that holds the band pin broke out completely. Super disappointed.

I absolutely love this new watch!

It's really very nice. I do wish that the screen was the same as my older Bip as it was extremely easy to see in the sunlight. The new watch is very hard to see in the sun.

Love it so far! It's sleek, simple, and comfy. I love how the band is made. It goes under the band instead of going over and sticking out.

Love using it but much too difficult to set up. Your phone representative was great and very helpful but later in the process I was unable to enter the age information and had to drive to my telephone provider for help. My Watch History: 2 years into owning an Apple Watch I had to charge the Apple Watch nightly. I used to average around 14,000 steps with my Apple Watch. The mileage matched my treadmill runs. Easy to use and cost effective

I was able to intuitively use the watch to map a run and like the default configuration where a voice notifies me when I've completed a mile and what my pace was. Unfortunately, the GPS data itself shows a sharp triangular (and physically impossible) jag into a neighborhood across the street from the trail I ran on. This additional distance went to Strava, making my pace inaccurate there. Since this is the only functionality I need from the watch, it's worrisome to see immediate bugs.

I had a bip s for a long while and then the screen cracked so I needed a new one. The bip 5 is awesome so many upgrades from my old one.

I'm coming of a Fossil Gen 6 Smartwatch with an OLED screen and Amazfit Bip 5 blows it out the water with this one in comparison. Battery life is amazing, my previous watch needs to be charge on a daily basis and it would run out of juice 70% into the day. It's only an LCD screen in comparison but the peak brightness and colors look more vibrant on this watch as well. The Bip 5 has many of the features of much higher priced watches and the Zepp OS is great.

Fairly good product, however you can’t adjust from centigrade to Fahrenheit.

If I wear the watch & fall asleep at 10 PM, then wake again at 1 AM, fall back asleep the watch only records the sleep from 1 AM until l wake, causing a 3 hour inaccuracy.

So far it’s been great.

Amazfit watches work with Android or iPhone devices. I have the Android phone. Zepp app is required for the watch to operate and synchronize with the phone. I recently upgraded to the Bip 5 from the Bip U pro for more features like Bluetooth calling, pre-written message response to messages, apps and more. The Bip 5 looks great, was super comfortable and great value. The notifications work well and the color display is bright and clear. The HR sensor seemed accurate and was very consistent. Similar to other amazfit products, it integrates well with the Zepp app. Unfortunately for me, the GPS could not cope with trees and buildings. Also, 3/4 of a way through a long run, the running tracker stopped recording.

Love my Amazfit Bip5. Price is a great value and all the applications that it has. Definitely get one for yourself.

I have recently tried a couple of cheaper smartwatches and found them to be great for telling time but nothing more. After painstakingly researching my options I decided to buy the Amazfit Bip 5 and I couldn't be happier. The Bip 5 is capable of doing much more than I will ever do. I was lured in by the ability to use gaming apps on the watch. ( per the description on Amazon) But it doesn't do that. It is a standard smart watch that has many of the new fitness items, but my old smart watch (for a much cheaper price) does everything this watch does and is more user friendly. So my general opinion is, it is an ok watch with no issues so far. It just doesn't have the bells and whistles I was expecting.

Not too great so far. The date is correct, but the day is wrong - and it’s going backwards! Yesterday it said it was Wednesday, today it’s says Tuesday?! Also, the temperature is showing as Celsius, not Fahrenheit. I’ve scrolled thru screens on both my watch and phone and found nowhere to correct these �?♀ It’s definitely not a plug-and-play.

I gave my Bip U Pro to my daughter and go this Bip 5. Love the bigger screen and the battery life is great.
