They are easily removed for cleaning purposes, and are dishwasher safe.   Staff Tip: Clean the the flavor bars with dish detergent. You can use any kind of scrubber you wish: a non-abrasive pad, steel wool, or a wire brush, depending on your needs. Dry all of the components thoroughly to prevent water damage.
