Ash Pan Grate. I have ordered a few of these in the past and didn’t realize I had holes in my lower barrel. Regardless they held up really good considering all the heat is was taking
Welded better. This one was welded better than the one that came with the grill
Good grate. This grate works just like it should. I bought a couple of no name grates the last two times and while they worked, they were either a litte too short or narrow. My only complaint would be they rust out in a couple years. But I live in Arkansas and use my grill year round.
Ash Pan. I received the wrong item. I thought I was ordering a replacement Ash Pan for Texas trio but I received an Ash Pan for a 4 burner grill. I'm not sure if the 2 burner is available to order. I did receive a partial refund. We are going to cut the 4 burner Pan and make it work
Good replacement. Quality metal and construction. Box arrived very smashed but the item was un damaged. Dodged a bullet there. I have no doubt that Char-griller would’ve replaced it if it had been bent or damaged, but who wants to go through that?

Loving the ash pan and the grill grates. Got my ash pan was a perfect fit my old one was in dier need of replacing thanks for your replacement parts great fast service great care in packaging new part looked great made my grill look new again very durable i am pleased with over all quality service shipping time used it the dat i recived it love the greats but i ordered to wrong ones but im useing them the ones i got are for a gas grill i have a woid burning grill so fare the greats have been holding up great i do like the less mantinance on the purslane greats.
Ashpan for 20 year old grill. This is probably the third or fourth ashpan I've bought for my Char-Griller griil over the past 20 years. Good quality grill and accessories.
Works. Its a little shorter than the one my grill came with, but I was able to get it to work with attaching some high heat wire instead of using my hooks and works great. Other one lasted 4 years so hopefully i can get the same out of this one.
Too short. It should be at least 29 inches. Mine was 27 inches.
An Excellent Grill with a weak spot. I have been using Chargriller products since 2005. I love how they look, perform and the price. I do not think there is a better product anywhere near this price point in the market. The ashpan however is their one weak point. It works exactly as it should, but you have to accept that every 4 years or so you will be required to buy a new one. The material used is not as strong as it could be. The bottom pan rusts/corrodes and the metal wires were the coals sit deform and lose their shape making it non-usable. I just purchased a new one and will be a happy griller for about another 4 years. Despite this weak point the grill is well worth having and the company has a steady supply of replacement parts at reasonable cost with very good customer service. My one bit of advice is for Chargriller to consider an upgrade to this part even if only offered as a custom order part, it would make this the perfect grill.
Ash-Pan review for #2929. Grill is great - burned through the last ash-pan and ready to fire up the grill as soon as it gets above freezing!
Quality. I have been replacing them for year's as I have worn them out. The quality has remained an American standard.
New Ashpan for old grill. It's not that my Char-Griller model # 2121 is old however after so many years and a lot of Kingsford later the original ashpan is showing signs of needing to be retired. I shopped around and found that the original ashpan offered by Char-Griller was a better value that those offered by other company's. At the same time I was assured that the replacement ashpan would be of the same great quality that went into the original ashpan. Easy to order process on line shipped directly to my door and in nothing flat we're back to grilling which is what owning a Char-Griller is all about. Purchase from the manufacture for proper fit and quality. You can't go wrong.

Great customer service. The product arrived very fast! However I ordered the wrong size. They immediately refunded my $ before having to return the item. The size that I need is currently out of stock.
Too short pan. Well built, but an inch plus too short for the grill, which is an old one for which I have no model number. Because it is too short, the handles hang at an angle, preventing the lid from closing. I've kludged a solution, but really, you changed the length of the pan by an inch from model to model?
Ash pan is a little smaller than the original one. Like 1 inch bigger would be perfect.
The Best. This is the best grill I’ve owned! Replacement parts are all I will ever need!
Original parts. Nothing like original parts for anything, I hope that this one lasts just as long or at least some where close to it.

Ashpan replacement frequency. OEM ashpan replacement needed about every three years with average usage.
Can’t stand the heat. These are good for about 3 years and then they get replaced. I keep my grill covered when not in use so it’s not a matter of them being exposed to weather and rusting out. They just don’t hold up over time.
Love my CharGriller grill. This is the first piece I replaced due to warpage of the grating which holds the coals. It can still be used but I decided to replace it anyway. Have had many good times with my grill. Even added the side box for smoking.
Hide and seek. Well, after not receiving my order. I contacted the service department to see what had happened. They sent me a picture of my shipment being delivered. It was not my house. So, I looked around the neighborhood for it. Mind you, it was snowing heavily and there was already inches on the grond. I found my package on one of my neighbor's porch. I called the service dept. to let them know that I found it. I then asked that since I had looked around for my package, I should receive some kind of reward. I asked for a coupon to use to purchase a chargiller product. They declined. I could have made them re-ship my order. Thay have no idea how to make the customers happy. A five buck coupon is nothing. Customer service gets a big fat F.
All good. Fits perfect. Really like this feature with the grilling part of the smoker.

Replacement. The ash pan is an exact replacement for the original. This is my third one for the same grill. These are some of the best grills I’ve ever used.

Great, with a suggestion. Std great quality. However my last 2 ashpan failed in the same way, the grate sagging 1/4 and 3/4 length. Having a center rib on the grate, even just welded at the ends and middle would help it last longer

Replacement Ashpan. Although my Char Griller is a great grill, and the replacement ashpan was delivered quickly, I was disappointed by the short life span of the original ashpan.

how about stainless? Te ashpan is fine, but even when I am careful to keep the grill dry, the pan is subject to the corrosive effects of the ash, so corrodes over time. That is why I had to order a replacement. What if you offered a stainless version?

Replacement ashpan. Once I got the actual ashpan, it's been great (I almost typed "grate," just for the pun of it...). However, it took 3 attempts to get it here. The first one I ordered off of your website, took me to Amazon, where what arrived was a knock-off that didn't fit. Sent it back. Bought specifically through your website the next time, and they sent a round, stainless steel rack, that was something completely different. Your Customer Support fixed that though, and sent me the correct one. Took 2 minutes to unpack and install, and it's been perfect, ever since. I do appreciate the follow-through. Ash pan. Ten years ago i could get a couple of years from these ash pans. Now im buying 2 a year. Steel's not what it used to be. Please get the shipping down. $15 s&h on a $25 item makes it a $40 item.
Shipment incomplete. I received the ashpan, but the 2 grates I ordered were not with my shipment. I have emailed the service department several times and have received no responses whatsoever.

Charcoal chimney & 2727 charcoal grill. I have been using char-griller grills for over 15 years and currently own two 2727 grills plus one that I put together out of parts. The 2727 is good quality, awesome and a lot of fun however the charcoal chimneys rust and fall apart prematurely and pretty much junk after a couple months being used 4x a week.
Need better guidance from your people. It was the wrong size. I need the 21" ash pan. This one was too big. But, I cannot find the model number for the 21" ash pan. Can you help me?

Not as good as it could have been. I purchased this ash pan from Char-Griller after trying an off-brand that I picked up on Amazon but didn’t quite fit my model 1224 grill. This pan was a better fit, although it didn’t fit as well as the original ash pan that came with the grill. I’m addition, one of the six welds that connects the grate to the pan burned a hole in the pan itself (see picture), which I believe may shorten the life of the ash pan. Honestly, I think they could’ve done better. 3 stars.
Ashpan. This was a replacement for our old ash pan. Very heavy duty and should be as good as our old one.
Ashpan part. My 10 year old ashpan needed replacement (edge eroding in a couple of places). This replacement is well built of solid gauge steel and functions perfectly; same as original
Keeping the older grill up to date. Genuine replacement part for my char grill. I have had several Char Groll charcoal grills over the years. The grate supporting the coals typically warps and bends over time. This was an opportunity to replace that one part and keep on using the rest of what is a reliable grill.
AshPan. I can adjust the height and don’t have to worry about the coals falling out.
My grill is as good as new! Perfect fit and now my grill is as good as new! So glad this part was available. The order took longer to get delivered and I'm still waiting for the new handles I ordered with it, but I think they are on the way. The part is great. If I could offer any suggestions at all, it would be to speed the process to fill and ship out orders. I believe the ash pan took about 3 weeks to get and I'm at about one month for the handles.

Char-griller still going strong. Original lasted me 10 years +, occurred to me to get a replacement ash pan (pan was fine, grates had warped) as I think the grill still has some years left on it and I plan on buying the exact same model again. Love this smoker/ grill. Great quality. Figure I can put this part to use on next one.
The ash pan looks very nice but it took three weeks to get it and it was in stock when ordered. There is no way to contact the vendor other than email and getting an response back won’t happen.
ASHPAN. The original ash pan rusted out. The replacement is perfect, but no idea if it will also rust out over time.
Ash Pan Woes. It's a good little pan if you're just an occasional griller but I use mine rather frequently, sometimes 2-3x a week. This pan could stand some beefing up to maybe half or even a third of the grille grates. Especially that you have the word "professional" on the name badge, thanks!

poor design and broken welds. the ashpan is inherently great. the item i received however was designed poorly and some of the wires welded to the primary frame had failed. rendering it non-functional. i was forced to perform repairs on my own to make it workable.
Works as it should, not a daily use item. Arrived quickly and was direct replacement and fit perfectly. Like the original it is not designed for 3-4 days a week of use and warps quickly it it does it’s job. I added the smoker box to my grill so some of the duty will be transferred to that grate so the life span should increase. Overall I like the grill and it’s components for their overall value.

Gve my grill a second life! I am very glad to have found this replacement ashpan. The original ashpan wore out after 3+ years as expected (I used it a lot). The grill is still in good shape, and with the replacement ashpan I can continue to use it!

Wrong Size. This didn't git my grill at all. It was a lot smaller than what it was presented. I made this item work for me though but not something I am very happy about. I did order the right part and preemptively through out the instructions for return of this item.
