Char-Griller ASHPAN AKORN FOR 16619, 16620, 16820 – KIT

Poor packing to ensures item arrives damaged. Dented and Mishappen as they don't pack properly before shipping.. Also since it takes so long to get to you via their slow to send out from the warehouse shipping (in transit once the carrier has it is fast) you really need to plan well ahead - 15+ days for when you want to have the item and expect to have to get it shipped out again because the 1st one will come damaged.

Akorn cold smoker. I got this so I could convert my akorn grill into a cold smoker. Worked great for what I wanted. It does seem to be a perfect fit for the original ash pan. Seals well and came undamaged from shipping. I have only had one of these ash pans wear out from use and I use my grill regularly instead of using our oven

It's an ashpan! It fit my kamato perfectly as it should. Not much else to say.

BUY IT ASAP. Great product and worth the money ,so glad I got from chargriler

I'm not sure... The only issue I have was the price and the plastic hangers on side. After my first cook, they started to melt. I'm not sure plastic should of been used there. I'm a little disappointed in smelling plastic during my cook.

I would not buy this again! I made sure I got the specific item I needed for my akorn for model number 16820 and the item did not fit properly so it now doesn't work properly. I haven't been able to use it now due to not having an ash pan for my akorn.

Hopefully I will not need to buy this product again. I really like the new ashpan but it s not the part I needed but have decided to keep it since the old one was looking pretty bad.

Mixed Review. I love my Akorn cooker and it worked great when it was new. After the bottom rusted out and was replaced under warranty, I was even more impressed with your product and company. However, a slight change in the design caused the ashpan to not seal properly and the temperature could not be controlled. I purchased a new ashpan. It was damaged and the two replacements that were sent were also damaged. Your Customer Service is fantastic but you have a shipping issue. I finally got to use my cooker yesterday and the faulty seal between the ashpan and the bottom half caused an airleak and I could not extinguish the coals. I had to let it burn out and wasted a full bag of charcoal. I'll be purchasing a pellet smoker very soon.

Genuine quality. Replaced my ash pan for $50 vs buying a new grill. Works great and seals off the air better so you can shut down the O2 after cooking which preserves charcoal for next time.

Definitely a keeper. Made a pizza last night. Smoked a pork shoulder. Everything about the grill is grate:)

My akorn i s no longer useable. Doesnt fit, its an inch bigger and wont latch anymore

Simply perfect replacement. This is the biggest replacement part we have purchased for our Akorn . It came, it fit, and fit the grill like it was part of original manufacture.

Way to go. Here I noticed improvements in the quality of the ventilation parts as well as some minor but worthy design improvements.

Replacement parts. Noticed the lip on the replacement is larger than the original perhaps this is a design change to stop water from getting in.

Packaging problem. Arrived with a dent on the lip stop the air duct. Could use better packaging methods.

Able to keep my old friend cooking. I ordered the replacement pan after toe original rusted out after several years of fine service. The rusting was mainly caused by an ill-fitting cover, which I also corrected. Fits perfectly, no hassle ordering, and quick delivery. I'm very happy. Glad to know I can keep my AKORN fired up for years to come!

This item should be packed better. Replacement for Ash panThat rusted out. Found item damaged when opened the container. Still usable not worth returning.

Would purchase again. Mine rusted out after 6 years, but would purchase again. Customer Support is fantastic!

Good quality. Pretty good quality. Original one lasted about 4 years and then rusted apart.
