Quick and easy replacement. Parts fit perfectly and were easy to install. 20 minutes total. Grill is working again just in time for summer

Could have been better. The fit and finish was good, but several of the pop rivets were loose or missing. You guys are better than that! Get with your QC people, and tell them to wake up. Most people are not mechanically inclined, (I am) and return shipping costs are high as they've ever been.

Better than tossing it out. Does not line up or close properly vents out of the bottom

New Bottom half is solid. Old Bottom half rusted out near the seal ring at the bottom. About 4 years old and stays out in the weather so I am ok with buying another one. Comes with new Seal also for the bottom Ash pan to seal against. Solid and I am back to grilling again. I used this to replace the bottom half on my Akorn Char Griller Cart and all bolts lined up perfectly. Will need someone to help you hold it in place while you start the upper bolts but other than that a quick 10 minute job.

It's been a great grill. Going on it's 5th season. I keep it covered outdoors but there have been times I have forgotten and it will rust right at that lower rim and it does drip into the fire box. That's the weakness of the design. However after 4 seasons my rust is minimal and the grill cleans up nicely. No complaints at all and I would buy one again - no hesitation. Cooks almost as well as a Big Green Egg. I'd say 90% of the function. For the cost and size and maneuverability it's a deal. At this point I believe I'm going to get 7-9 years of value from it.

Awesome replacement unit. I purchased this to replace a rusted out one on my old Akron. I really like that Char-griller has made some improvements from the original like the screwed on Y rack to hold the ash pan vs the welded in one in case that needs to be replaced. The only reason I don't give it a 5 star is because of the durability of these parts. I've only owned my Akron 4 years and it's not the best thing that I'm already have to replace half of the grill (ash pan too).

Perfect part! Fantastic service! Needed to replace just the rusted out bottom portion and found exactly what I needed. Shipped fast. Easy to assemble and is perfect!

Corected mistake. I received my order and there was a mistake on the quatity of leg extenderss they corrected immediatly......

It rusted out within two years. Buy a green egg
