Char-Griller BOTTOM HALF AKORN – 16619,16620,16820,76619,96619 – KIT

Rebuild instead of dispose. My AKORN was gifted to us a few years ago. At that time it was already showing signs of deterioration. I used it to smoke many chickens, turkeys and hams as well as grilling pancakes, eggs, veggies and sausage on a cast iron griddle for breakfast. When I attempted to use it this spring the bottom half was totally rusted out. I felt I wanted to rebuild rather then throw away so was happy to find I could purchase a new bottom half. It mated perfectly with the old top half. Original legs bolted right up. I purchased a new ash pan last summer that fits fine. Need to make small adjustment to latching hardware to make ash pan gasket seal tight. Along with the new fire bowl, this has restored proper function and control over the AKORN.

This is a perfect replacement! Exactly what I needed to replace the bottom half of rusted out used Akron I purchased.

Worth it! This took a little while to ship, but the company warned me about it on their website prior to order placement. The new grill part fits perfectly. I noticed a few improvements between the new part and what it replaced. 10/10 happy with my purchase.

Great replacement Products from a great Company..!

Different colors not available. The correct color for my grill was not available. Would think that since the piece rusted out within a year even though I used a cover when not in use a warranty would cover replacement. Grill was a gift from my family and could not find a receipts. Part will be returned unused.

Easy-Peasy replacement. Perfect fit. But, Char Griller should consider moving production back to the USA. You know, put neighbors to work.

Comes with all bolts and the ashpan seal. The bottom half rusted out with the ash pan. This comes with all bolts and the seal for the ashpan attached. Replacing the bottom half was very easy

Excellent replacement. Perfect fit. Replacement went without a hitch. Exactly the same as original. Bolts and screws included. Perfect fit.

Fit nicely. Mine rusted out after about 6 years, but fit nicely

Quality, quick shipping, easy install. Replaced the bottom half of my acorn. Love the grill going on 7+ years. With a cover, it would have lasted longer, got a bit wet from time to time.
