Char-Griller CHARCOAL TRAY KIT (2190)

Charcoal tray replacement was easy. Charcoal tray fit perfectly and good value. Back in business!

Old grill, new life. It was a little hard to track down a source for this part but, it came pretty quickly and worked like a charm. Came with the clips, installed easily, and resurrected a rusted out grill that should last a while now👍🏻

Perfect fit, easy install, exactly the right thing.

Replacement. My old one was completely burn out. I’m glad that I did found a replacement before replacing the grill which I love.

Great Product. Not sure why it costs +$10 more than the last time I ordered it. I wish they would make a thicker high quality rendition as it would last longer and not rust out so quickly.

Charcoal Tray Kit poor quality. This is 2nd Charcoal Tray Kit I have purchased. The 1st was with my grill purchase. I had to buy the 2nd one due to the Tray warping during it's first couple of uses. This did the same. The Tray is of poor quality due to the size vs ridge metal Tray. Tray is very thin metal and doesn't handle the heat across it's surfaces

Perfect. I knew when I purchased my grill that the charcoal try would be the only part that would need to be replaced. So when the time came I purchased a new charcoal tray and now my grill is just like the day I purchased it. Five stars. Removal and installation was simple. Great design.

Charcoal tray. The charcoal tray was the exact replacement. It was a perfect replacement.

Mismatch. I put in the model number on the grill(plate on the back) inlaid for the part and the shipping—the part doesn’t fit right—it’s too large by 1/2 inch

chargrill tray for charcoal. Haven't had to order any replacement parts until now. Hope the replacement parts (chargrill tray) lasts as long as the original.

Replacement charcoal grill tray. Our Char Griller was still In great shape, we just needed a new charcoal grill tray…. Bingo. The new charcoal tray works perfect. A great addition to our Chargriller

Good quality replacement. Needed a grinder to get the old one off - no way those corroded cotter pins were coming out.

Pan. Great replacement, my old pan lasted at least 2 years, longer if I cleaned it regularly

Sturdy Tray. Charcoal tray is very sturdy and was easily installed.

Did not fit. We purchased this because it was the ONLY charcoal tray on the website. Unfortunately it did not fit our Chargriller. Disappointed

Make parts pricing reasonable. I do a lot of Bar B Que. Pit is about 5 years old. I keep it clean and covered. Painted it last year. Thinking ash pan should last longer. Ash pan was about 25% of what I paid for the pit. I bought it because cheaper than replacing pit. Unhappy. Lower the prices of your parts.

Ash tray is necessary for a great bbq. Easy to replace and keeps grill alive for more years of bbq

OEM replacement. Fit is perfect and it comes with new clips and hardware. I now use a 13.5" x 21" steam table tray liner with holes poked in the bottom as a sacrificial charcoal pan to eliminate burn thru.

Replacement Charcoal Tray. This was a replacement for the unit that came with my grill some 6 years ago. It’s just what I needed and replaced a heavily used one. Nice gauge thickness and I’m sure it will last just as long the original.

Charcoal Tray. My Charcoal tray went bad and this part was the perfect replacement.

Product is great… service not so much. Be sure which grill you have. I unknowingly ordered the wrong one. I tried to change the order without any success. I tried reaching out with email with no response. With the help of an angle grinder I made it work.

Parts needed. Would have been nice to be able to purchase the brackets that the tray mounts to.

Damaged. The tray was damaged during shipping. I sent pictures and the only communication I had from your company was this request for a review, so, here ya go.

Tray not good, this is the third time changing it out

CHARCOAL TRAY KIT (2190). I sent an email with photos of the tray that was bent and did not get a response. I am guessing it was caused by the shipping process i.e. packaging, box not sturdy enough, big enough. I had to bend the areas back in place to use it.

Poor Customer Service order cg304802. Waited a better part of a year for this part to be available to order. Receive the part in poorly package but acceptable condition. Part is wrong size. Have sent multiple emails with pictures and dimensions to customer service with no response. No phone number is available to contact the vendor only a message line that you cannot leave messages. Will contact credit card company to dispute charges one week from the date this review is posted.

Replacement charcoal tray. Everything I needed to quickly and easily replace the charcoal tray in minutes! Keeps my grill working like new.

Could be better. Too thin and will burn through in one season. Needs to be thicker or change design.

Great replacement. Perfect fit exact replacement and definitely worth the price. Any other company would make it so expensive where you just bought a new grill.

Will last for a long time. Love this grill, by replacing the essential parts it will last for many years to come

Great replacement, easy to find on the site. Worked perfectly as a replacement for the one that rusted out

As advertised. Everything is as advertised…great quality etc. I have a 4 star because it arrived with minor damage…bent slightly; but I made it work

Bent. It is bent and the clips were not included. This is not good

Charcoal Tray. Really like my grill and the charcoal tray replacement. Easy to install. Only negative thoughts is that the original tray is only 3 years old and received notification that tray was on its way a week after receiving.

Charcoal tray. The package arrived with visible damage to the packaging. Fortunately the tray was usable with only damage done to the support tab on one side of the tray. I suggest better packaging. Also it took a month to arrive from the time of order. This seems too long to me.

Charcoal tray kit 2190. Just received this today. The box was too small for the tray. The brackets/tabs to attach the tray to the lifting arms were poking out of the box in order for the tray to fit in the box and one of those tabs was bent flat. The tray was also bent/warped and felt like it had old cooking grease on it.

Charcoal tray. Nothing was wrong with the grill, we use it so much we’ve burned the tray out! Glad to know we’re able to buy replacement parts rather than buy a new grill!

Excellent Experience. Thick strong metal and a perfect fit. It also came with new spring pins. Excellence

the good and the bad. I love this grill, so I didn't blink at buying this replacement part ($22). The original charcoal tray part was the only one with an issue, which was: it rusted to almost nothing in about 2 years. The rest of the grill is holding up well, and I use it all the time. Part was great and came (rattling around in a big box with hardly any packing material) with replacement cotter pins. But no instructions. If you buy your grill assembled, like I did, this becomes a challenge. The owner's manual does NOT tell you how to install this particular part. Believe me, I read it over and over. Also, there IS NO PHONE SUPPORT. They have a recorded message apologizing for this (sort of). But if you can figure it out, as I did eventually, the part is worth buying. Wish it wasn't needed! But it was. So there's "the good and the bad."

Excellent!! It was vey easy to install and the quality is a lot more heavy duty than the one that came with the grill when we purchased it a few years ago. 👍🏼👍🏼

Great customer service. Perfect fit. Fast delivery. I love their customer service

This part makes thw grill happy again. Great that this part is available. Comes with the pins. Made the grill new again. Easy to install. Use a needle-nose plier to pull the old pins.

Better than the original! We used our Char Griller grill so often we burned hold through the bottom of our charcoal tray. This replacement tray seems heavier and more durable than the first one! Quite happy.

People Make the Business. Old school I prefer doing business with an individual, not a computer. I was in the computer field for 30 years.

It's okay, but could be improved. Prompt service, but I wish it was stainless steel so it wouldn't rust out so fast from the heat of the charcoal

Well built, perfect fit. I usually build my own replacement charcoal pans but I'm having some medical issues so I thought I would purchase a replacement. I'm glad I did. It would cost me more in materials than buying this. The pan is very well made and it is a perfect fit.

I like. Old one was oxidized after 5 years of use. New one was super easy to install. All pieces were included. We're back in business.

The Best. As always C.G. has the best grills and quality service. Parts are easy to find and shipped fast!!

yes I will buy char-griller again. I love my bbq grill and now that purchased a new charcoal tray I can enjoy it far 4 to 5 more years

Work as should. Easy removal and replace comes with new hardware. Over packed during shipment so no damage to produc

Quick replacement part. I love my charcoal grill and I guess it is a sign of how much I use it that the charcoal tray began to show places where it had burned through. Getting a replacement was easy and arrived only a few days after ordering. Easy to remove old tray and replace with new one which appears to be heavier and more sturdy than original.

Yes. Charcoal fits perfect! Didn't take long to receive it. If anything to complain about I wish it was a little heavier but all in all works Great thank you Debbie

Replacing the charcoal tray. I've had my grill and smoker for several years now. It stays outside and I don't care for it as well as I should, which is probably why the charcoal tray rusted out. It was super easy to order a couple of replacements. The install was a little tricky because one of them got bent during shipping. Nothing a hammer couldn't fix though. After I got the rusty parts out, the new ones went in easy as you please. I'm back to grilling!

Would buy again. No problems with the charcoal tray. Received promptly and installed without any problems. Thanks.

I would buy this product again. I use the grill to slow smoke the meats, does a great job. Couldn't ask for a better smoker for the price

I would recommend this product. Love this grill. Bought it 4 years ago. Only had to replace the tray due to normal wear and tear.

Perfect Fit. Fit perfectly, easy to install, arrived timely even with the July 4th Holiday.

Love it! Better than the original! More sturdy and the sheet of metal looks thicker.

I will probably have to buy this again. I had to replace the charcoal tray because it had warped and finally developed a huge hole right in the center. I love the gril. It is well built. This tray is the only weak spot.

Great replacement tray for excellent grill. This is a great grill. Charcoal tray came fast and it wasn't tricky to install either.

Great grill, awful charcoal tray. I love my grill but really disappointed with how flimsy this charcoal tray is, it warps once the first fire hits it and you end up having uneven fire temperatures. The tray really needs to be either a thicker gauge metal or reinforced with a frame underneath.

Great grill. Rather replace a part on a great grill, then buy a new one

Totally satisfied. Exactly what I ordered couldn't be happier thank you

I would NOT buy this again. This is used in my grill to hold the charcoal. My original one warped severely and I just dealt with it. I ordered a new one thinking it would be better made. The new one did exactly the same thing. I will not be buying another grill from this company

I would buy this product again. The fit was perfect, and it came with connecting pins also. Very Pleased

No. I use the charcoal tray in my back yard grill. I purchase a new on because my old one was warped. Should have saved my money, after one cook with the temperature not getting over 350 degrees the new tray warped. I love my grill, I just wish the quality of material used was better.

Great parts service to keep grill going. Charcoal grates cant last too long with serious use and weather. Had to replace mine recently since the rest of the grill is still in great shape after four years of abuse. Love that replacement parts are available and shipped promptly!

First rate part. Looks and feels very well made. Replaced the rusted out original part perfectly, and was easy to install. Thanks for making all the parts available! I can keep this grill for a while and the prices on the replacement parts are very reasonable. Way better than buying a whole new grill every few years. Everything turned out so well that it was like I had a new grill, so I ordered a cover for it to keep it nice.

i would buy this product again. i love this grill it actually my second one of the same model i have bought i usually get about two to three years out of a grill i grill out about 5 days a week on average

I will definitely buy again if needed. Very fast shipping! It arrived two days after I placed my order. Replacing the old part was easy with just a pair of needle nose pliers.

Never buy this grill. Should not need to be replaced, took the wraps off my grill for spring and the charcoal tray disintegrated first should not be a tray but a grate or the sheet metal should be better had to replace the side burner last summer love the way it smoked but it's made from scrap

Great products. At first I was mad that my charcoal tray disintegrated, but when I sat back and realized how much I use my grill, I'm actually impressed it lasted 3 years. I was going to buy a high dollar pellet grill, but after using a friends I didn't think it even came close to the quality of my char griller!

Will by this again. Cant wait to burn it many times so i have to order again

Replacement charcoal tray is a charm! This replacement tray has restored my grilling capabilities back to how I could when the grill was brand new.

Perfect purchase. An excellent buy. This is the replacement charcoal tray. I have had this grill for ten years and it has been great. The charcoal tray was used so much it finally burned out. Rather than purchasing a new grill I went to your site and bought the new tray. It was very easy to replace, very inexpensive and my grill is like brand new.

Exact part, great price! Husband absolutely loves this grill...and he's been thru several. The ONLY problem he's ever had was when the charcoal tray started getting brittle and breaking holes in it. Your website had it for 1/3 the price I could find on other sites, always a plus!

Great product with a great response time. Ordered and received the product in about 24hrs without paying for overnight shipping. Very fast! Very good quality. Comes with hardware! Very easy to install. Would do a pre burn to get off the chemical smell from the preservation oil. Might buy another to keep for when this one rusts. Also lives in Florida so rusting isn't company's fault.

exact fit. fit perfectly, but part was already starting to rust, before I install it

New charcoal tray. Replaced the charcoal tray, fit perfect, removed old one and installed new one without a problem.

Great product. These people are a pleasure to deal with and they make great products.

I would buy this again. The tray was easy to remove and install 10 minutes and no swearing

Buyer Beware! Poor customer service!! Would really love to provide a reveiw of my purchase but I have received NO updates on my order status since my purchase on August 5, which was 3 weeks ago! Extremely POOR customer service!

Great product!!!!!! I bought my char-griller about 3 1/2 years ago and I use it a lot! I keep it out on my front porch and although its under a roof, the charcoal tray eventually rusted out. I should've bought a cover to put over it. Other than that, everything is still in great condition and I love my Char-Griller! I will be buying another one if this one ever wears out!!!

Solid product that comes with everything you need! Because I grill a lot, after 2 years, I needed to replace my tray. The part came quickly and with everything I needed to change out the old one quickly.

I would buy again. Fit perfect and was very easy to change out. Gives one of my favorite grills a new lease on life!

Wear and tear. I've had this grill for going in 6 years now. I'm using it year round in Jersey. I expect the fire tray to disenegrate over time. This only the third one. Love my griller!!

Great service. Customer Service was great! They had the part I needed in stock and shipped it out fast. Love this grill and was glad to get it back grilling ready.

I will order again when needed. Exactly what I needed and the only blind chat feature was a huge help when I was trying to order

Yes, worth the buy. This tray kit seems way more durable and thicker than the OE that came with the entire grill. Satisfying.

Perfect fit, totally worth getting this new tray as opposed to a new grill.

I would by this again. Easy replacement, fast delivery

Excellent Replacement. Great replacement as the original burnt from constant grilling.

Easy repair. Fast and easy change out. It came with the pins and dowels that attach it to the adjustment mechanism, which was a nice surprise. I wish it was made of thicker material to last longer.

Will buy again when I need another replacement. Exact replacement for the original part. Easy to install and nice to have a charcoal tray without a rusted out hole in the middle.

I would buy this product again. An exact fit for my model. Pretty much looks like OEM, I dont think any kind of improvement has been made over the one it comes with from the factory. Mine lasted about 2 years with continuous use before it was just too far gone with rust. For the price, if this replacement lasts as long it was well worth it.

Disappointed. This looks like a great product and have only used it a handful of time and the metal is already warped and bent from the charcoal.

Pan replacement. Same as original one. Lasted me 4 years, hopefully this one does as well.

Great buy! Just replacing the older grates for better cooking of food. No stick.

I definitely would purchase your product again. Thank you so very much. The service was outstanding. It was very easy to order.

Very happy! The product came just as described. All the hardware was included, and it was easy to install.
