Replacement. Replaced old grate they were about 5 years old and got warped

Poorly made grill. The Diamond Mesh material is junk, I had to replace my first three in one year because they rust. They are hard to clean and never use an abrasive material to clean them. I like to grill and smoke my food I am going to get a better grill this off-season. I also think I have figured out how to help this grill maintain heat because it leaks out of the grill door along with the smoke. I don't know why they added a chimney since all of the smoke goes out with the heat. I have to finish my meats in the oven. Not being able to control the heat makes the meat tougher and drier it becomes labor intensive.

Replacement Cooking Mesh. Perfect fit for my grill and gives it a like new refresh!!

Poor Customer service - warped cook grates. I purchased these for my dad in February for his birthday and in less than two months they are already warped. I have emailed Chargriller Customer Service three times with zero response on this. Do not recommend as evidently, they don't have good customer service and stand behind their products.

Oops, too many. These grates lasted longer than I expected. And that's with bbq'ing extensively, 365! Well, as my granddaddy always said, "You get what you pay for!" However, I only ordered three, and I received four grates, so I owe y'all for one extra.

Love the grill! The grate, not so much. I can't imagine how the decision was made to use wire mesh for the grilling surface. If you're using for indirect cooking it may work, but it is marketed as a grill/smoker. The grate warped the first time I used it. Probably should make some ceramic cooking grates or better yet cast iron. As of right now, I'm planning to hire my welder neighbor make new grates. Love the grill, the cooking surface, not so much.

good construction but should be coated. As fast as they rust! even keeping them oiled you should come up with stainless steel or mat least porcelain coated to get more life out of them

I like my grill. I like these grates but they don't last very long with charcoal heat. I wish there was a heavier duty ceramic coated grate like most of your newer charcoal grills that would fit this. It is a very awesome grill though, I keep it clean, oiled and seasoned and haven't had a problem yet except for the grates warping.

only grate they make for my grill. Unfortunately, these are the only grates they make for my offset smoker. It's not the most durable, warps under extreme heat, and will start to rust if you don't constantly clean and oil it. If I had a choice I would by something else.

Warped on First Use. I used the this to bbq some ribs and two stakes, and some vegetables. This item started warping before I got to the stakes. I followed the temperature gauge that says, don't let it get over 450 inside the box, which in my opinion is low. The grate warped, not exactly sure at what temperature but I believe it was not over 400 degree according to the thermostat on the grill. The real negative is that char griller doesn't sell heavy cooking grates for this model. Since this warped already on the first cook. Now I am sort of stuck with this grill. Also, some of the legs of the grill were rusted inside. If I could send this grill back without having to break it down again, I would return it but I don't have help to disassemble, and then package this monster. Char grill will send replacements for the rusted parts but it will be difficult to put on during the covid period without help.

Do not buy. Warped on first use. Always cleaned, season, and stored properly, still rusted.

Expected More. The grates on the grill warped after the first cook, then rusted after the 2nd. I tried using the grill twice a week for about a month and it became uncookable. I just bought new grates. Hopefully, there is a better result with these.
