Char-Griller FIRE ROD W/WIRE (9020 / 9040)

Fire Rod w/ Wite. Product worked great and fixed the problem. Took a while to find out shipping and I was a little concerned, but it eventually made it to me.

Flam rod replacement. Replacing the flame rod was simple and now the grill fires up again fine. I have had this grill several years and this was the first item to go bad. Otherwise a great grill

Fire Rod. Been through two or three in the last year. Not impressed with its longevity.

Great products and fast service. Love these pellet grills , replaced my 5 yr old fire rod. And works like new again

I might look for a different model,, with adjustable startup. Wish the time duration of the heating cycle was just a bit longer. The default duration is too short and the fire does not start. However, If I cycle power after 2 minutes and then restart the startup sequence, it works every time.

Quality part and quality assistance. Char-griller was so helpful in getting information to us to install this part. We are back up and working on making more great food!

Fast and easy fix. Good product and the quick search on google and yahoo lead you straight to the Chargriller site. If it wasn't for the customer support and diagnostics section I'd not known of the simple $26 fix. Now I'm happy grilling again. 5 stars

Only if need be. Kind of a messy install but it works now in conjunction with the new control unit. It is the first time in 7 years I needed replacement parts. Back to smoking and bbqing.

I would not buy this product again. We don't use it much since it's always needing repair. Very poorly constructed. Parts seem to last about 1 year and that's it. I would never buy again. I would never recommend.

Love this Grill/smoker. We use on Sundays routinely for 15-25 people, have had it seven years and love it

Replaced control board, now the fire rod - NOT HAPPY. This entire grill is junk. Do not buy it, buy anything else. Like others here, I used it a dozen times and it started acting up. It would randomly "explode" and blow the lid open during normal operation and work intermittently. I replaced the control board and that fixed the problem for about a day then the fire rod burned out. I'm going to fix that and sell it. I'll never buy a Chargriller product again. STAY AWAY!!!

Fire Rod defective. I have to purchase a new rod only 14 months after purchase. Sad part is that i am only an occasional user and product broke prematurely. Customer service couldnt help me with the issue. This product's warranty is only for one year.

Had to buy a fire rod today. Don't like it since it broke down and had to pay $40.95 to fix it. We will see how the install goes. 2 weeks to ship it???? WISH ME LUCK.

Replacement part review. So glad to get this replacement part. It really made working with the smoker a lot easier than starting it manually. There really should be instructions/diagram included with the part though. We did find the instructions for replacement the fire rod on Char-Griller site, so it turned out okay.

Lawrence Hesters. I purchased a char-grill smoker from Lowe's in Auguest of 2015 and my fire rod burns out in Auguest of 2016 I have used the grill 12 times now I have to buy a new one around 40 dollars with shiping. This is not saying much for the quality of your smoker. Will I have to buy another one in a year? Sad Sad Sad.
