Char-Griller FLAME SHIELD (5050, 3001,3070, 3072, 5650, 5072, 4001

GET THE BEST FLAME SHIELD FOR YOUR CHAR-GRILLER! Don't buy an off-brand replacement flame shield for your Char-Griller grill!!! Buy a Char-Griller! My originals lasted a long time, so I can attest to the quality!!!

Good. They are what I expected, original flame shields. Same quality.

Burner covers replacement. Have an ancient dual grill, and the flame guards rusted out. Ordered new ones online, arrived well packaged nicely painted and fit perfectly. I’m back in the gas grill use and just before a holiday weekend. Love my dual grill!

Wrong size. The quality is fine, it looks like the part but it is too long for my grill. I tried to order the right one, even by typing in my type of grill, and this was the recommendation. I wish it had been easier to find the part I actually needed on the website, especially because they aren't inexpensive.

Flame shield works! This flame shield is very nice. It is well constructed

Great burner covers. Work great the old ones burnt up after a few years. Replaced them with the new ones and it’s like a new grill again

Flame shields. My flame shields were almost corroded through so I desperately needed new. Got on CharGrill's website, typed in my model and there they were. Fit perfectly. Delivered quickly!

Flame Shield for Texas Trio. Flame shield works well, but seems to rust fast. It has been replaced 3 times within 5 years due to rust. Yes, the grill is covered. Yes, the grill is cleaned after each use.

Great replacement part. I had to change this part due to the high usage of the grill. But I love my grill.

Sturd shield for burners on gas grill. Good product for replacement of old shields easy to place in the grill and made of a good material

great parts. the little heat shields take some abuse over time, now working great again

They are ok. I know that costs are always on the increase, but the cost of three of these shields based on the gauge of metal used seems high to me. This is no slight to the folks at Char-Griller, but this is the part I replace the most on my grill. Maybe using a little better, stronger material would make them last longer and the cost would be a little easier pill to swallow.

Customer service non existent. Customer service was completely nonexistent. Multiple emails went on returned. Shipping took almost a month.

Replacement heat shields. Replacement shield for the grille were great. No issues

Flame Shield and Shipping. The product is a very good one. I do suggest you purchase 2 sets if you’re a power BBQ-ologist! I think speed of shipping could improve. Thus the 4 stars.

Falme shield. Works perfectly with my existing grill no fuss easy installation

Don't bother with this company. I ordered over 3 weeks ago - it still has not arrived. Replies from Char Griller have been minimal. They can't cancel my order but it won't ship for at least another 10 days. Don't bother ordering from this company.

Perfect Replacement!! Fits perfect, product as described; great replacement.

Char-Griller review. The Char-Griller is one of the best grills ever made

New heat shields. Heat look great now but last set only lasted 2 years. I have grill covered always when not in use. Old set rusted away in 2 years.

Char Griller parts and shipping assessment. They don't last very long. I usually only get one grilling season on they rust out! shipping charges are quite high.

Replacement heat shields. Replacement shields were an easy 1 for 1 swap. Delivery was promptly fulfilled after order

Grill grate. Perfect match.......................................

Flame shield. Flame shields dropped right in. Perfect fit. Love my Chargriller.

Excellent Company. Have purchased the flame shields and like all CharGriller has, excellent

Customer service is non existent. I have tried to return this item. Your customer service is not responsive or accessible. Very disappointing. I will be replacing my grills with another brand.

great shields. very happy with my new shields. Easy to order!!!!

Great product. Fits perfectly. All holes line up. You will be very happy.

Replacement. First ones didn’t last more than 2 years. Started to fall apart.

Fits great. They fit perfect to my grill! It looks like high quality metal but I am comparing to 4 year old metal that’s all rusted and breaking in half.

Rust bucket. Shouldn't have had to buy these just 3 years after i purchased the grill. The mounting tabs for the flame shoelds are also rusted off. Along with the first set of grill plates, the warming racks, and the actual grill buckets themselves.

My flames are now shielded! It shields the flames within my grill! Which is nice because, boy let me tell ya, those flames needed to be shielded

Great. Fit perfectly and protected the food from burning. Third set I’ve bought.

Flame shield or not to shield. Shield is great but I thought i was getting all 3 Shields instead of one. My bad, pricey!

Great replacement plates. Plates fit just perfectly with no real effort in changing them.

Not so durables xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx. Not so durables. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

New parts for my great barbecue. I love that I can replace worn parts for my Chargriller. Its 5 years old and been cooked on a lot. Now it looks likenew.

BBQ RESTORATION. More parts that I ordered for restoring my BBQ. They are coated & the original ones weren't. They rusted & fell apart.

Exact Match. This is exactly as advertised - a direct replacement for my rusted flame shields. Old ones off, new ones on - ready to grill.

Rust out quickly. I have purchased 4 of the grills over years. Now this one has rusted rapidly. We used to be able to talk to someone order parts and had great customer service. I will be going to a different grill.

Shields. The shields were great but I found out the pegs they sit on were rusted.... I'll throw out the grill

Still grilling. Great replacement part keeps me grilling and not expensive.

Happy with flame shields. The replacement flame shields work great on my 5050 DUO griller

Good product. Perfect fit and better quality than the original heat shields.

Product works well. Product works as intended but took a long time to get

OMG. Took my money right away. Parts finally delivered in 6 separate pkgs

Back to Grillin'. Flame shields are great! Ordering a set for next year!!!

Great Part. OEM replacemt for old shields. Work great. Arrived on time.

Neede a replacement. 2nd time i have had to replace they go about every 3 years

parts. works great and will order more in the near future.

Perfect Replacement. Flame Shields will eventually need replacement due to direct flame.

Great service! Perfect fit. Sent very quickly without a rush. Very happy!

Great product durable good materal. Very good quality durable easy to install and clean

Flame Tent. Quality product and easy installation to complete.

Cheap & expensive shipping. Cheaply made. Only lasts about 8 months. $15 shipping.

Another great find! Fit right into place just as advertised! Another great find!

I will order again when needed. Flame shields worked great, I should have ordered the clips that hold them in place. Next time I will.

Easy and fast replacement. After years of cooking on the grill, two of the shields were filled with so much drippings, replacing them was easier.

Depends. A little disappointed these rusted out already. Hope they remain available for years to come as I anticipate this being a continuous problem during the life of the grill. The grill itself is great, and I hope I don't have to prematurely replace it if parts become unavailable.

So awesome. I'm so glad I was able to find my flame shields. I'm so glad that there are so many parts to rebuild my grill. I get high quality parts for a grill I love and I save money because I can fix it instead of replacing ! Thank you, Thank you.

I would buy this again. This was a great purchase. I have been using my grill several times a week again.

I would buy this product again. It was easy to replace the old ones with these new ones on my grill. They are holding up so far.

Perfect replacement. I bought 2 of these shields to replace the original ones that had rusted out. It makes my gas grill look and operate like new.

Great experience with Char-Griller. I bought replacement flame shields. They arrived promptly exactly as specified. Decent price, quality product. We love our Char-griller. our grandkids call it papa's choo choo train due to the 3 smoke stacks.

Look closely at what you are buying the catalog and descipti. You know it takes 3 you show 3 in the product picture/description, Yet you ship 1 not very cool at all

Flame shield. Original shields lasted about 10 years. Trust that the new ones will also.

Everything is good. These perfectly matched and work great! This is why I ordered from chargriller instead of purchasing from an aftermarket company.

Good part; hope it lasts longer that the original! Part is a perfect fit and does what it is supposed to do- protect the burners. Not pleased with having to replace them in less than three years of service. The hardware brackets on which it rests are deteriorated badly. That also is disappointing. I have a work-around in mind for the time when they fail and will not buy replacement parts for that.

Rust Bucket Replacement Part for the Char-Griller Gas Grill. The fact that I had to replace these parts less than two years after purchase does not speak well of your product. This grill has a reputation for being a "rust bucket," and it appears to be accurate.

CharGriller: They Understand Customer Service. There's nothing really special about flame shields. They block the flame from the propane burners. What is special is the customer service of CharGriller. I mistakenly ordered the wrong shields initially. I called, spoke to a CharGriller rep, and she helped me identify what I needed so that I could cook without burning up the meats and other items I put on the grill. Wish I could remember the woman's name who helped me, but she was kind, courteous, and extremely helpful. CharGriller is an excellent brand. Been using one for over 30 years. But the customer service is outstanding. Southern Hospitality at its best!

I will probably have to purchase another set. Made with the same thin metal. This is my third set on this grill over 14 years. I am coated with cooking spray this time to hopefully make them last longer.

Yes would buy again. Easy install wish they would have paired the support clips, didn't know they were flame eroded until I took apart now waiting on the clips to show up

Fit like new but thin walled. Replacements fit as they should but needs to be thicker walled maybe to hold up longer.

It was exactly what we needed and I really appreciate all the emails and correspondence with your company

Worked for me. Showed up quickly, snapped right in to place. Shipping was too high though. Either way, I got what I needed.

Good.order! Just what we needed! They work fine. Ordering and delivery were painless and efficient! Will be back if I need anything else!

Don't last long enough. Same as the grates, they don't last long enough...they rust and fall apart. Also the clips that hold them in place are usually broken when it comes time to replace these as well...and very difficult to get off what is left of them. I had to grind the old ones off with a angle grinder. These shouldn't be 'replacement parts', they should last as long as the grill. They should be thicker and/or better quality. I love the grill because it reaches high temps and cooks evenly, but tired of always having to replace the inner parts.

Parts available, shipping pricey. Parts were available, fit right, shipped quickly. Shipping is a bit pricey, so order all replacement parts in one order!

Yearly replacement. Like that you can replace the flame shields, but they don't last very long. I made it to one year.

Great product line. Very fast shipping on the parts that fit perfectly. Best grill I've ever had and I've been grilling for 50 years.

Yes! Received in a timely matter and replacement flame shields fit perfectly. Will make my longevity of my grill to be extended for many more grills.

Bad website-shipping costs are a rip off. Very frustrating to search on your website. You should offer a package of the front and rear supports and the flair-up shields. Because of your poor website, I had to order and pay shipping twice. Happy wit product unhappy with website!

The best grill I have ever had. I have had my Char-Griller for many years and love it. I live in Canada and was unable to get replacement flame shields so on my visit to the USA I ordered the parts. Shipment was quick and I look forward to many more years of use.

Original equipment replacement. The deflectors put my grill working back to when I got it on day 1 !!!!!

Great Product! Easy to replace and start new for the new year! This piece helps extend the life of the grill.

Average quality, but they work. Purchased three to replace my old ones. I wish they would last longer. This is my 3rd set (of 3) in 5 years. Still as much as I use my Char Griller, I am not disappointed in the performance of these shields. They are just average.

Super easy to make the replacement. The covers came quickly. It was super easy to remove the old ones and install the new ones.

Better take care of it! Replacement part less than 2 years after purchase yet customer service says i should take better care and properly season it. For 2 years it has been under a cover and seasoned multiple times.

Will buy the parts I need for the grill here. Had to replace 2 of the flame shields that rusted out after 4 years. That is not bad I use this grill every day and this is the only thing that wore out. Received the parts after about a week.

I would buy this item again. Needed to replace my old Flame shields due to usage.....Now my gas side is back up and running.

Quality product. Previous flame shields had rusted and falling apart due to negligence on my part. GET A GRILL COVER!! Now that I have new flame shields, I feel safer when grilling.

Flame Shield Replacement Happens. Quick delivery, Affordable. The replacement parts are identical to the original. After years of cooking on the propane side of our 5050 grill & smoker the originals were burned through. The replacement parts were very affordable and delivery was prompt.

Needs to be thicker. These flame shields are great when brand new, however they burn through in about 6 months of use and need to be replaced. I am on my 3rd set of these in 2 years. Maybe if they were made with a little thicker metal or a better coating to keep them whole.

Good grills. I use my char grill 3 days a week on average. So I wear out grills. But this is able too order needed part s. Great product

yes. Replacement flame shields after 10 years. Order received as promised, no replacement issues, works great.

I don't think so as much as I like it durability is an issue. The parts are great but the flanges that hold them in place have rusted out after only 2 years. The flame shields wobble in place now the turn side ways and I'm cooking over an open flame. I'm disappointed with this grill smoker now.

Yes, I would purchase the product again. Replaced worn out shields that started to rust and burned from use.

I would but this product again, yes . . . Perfect replacement for the right price. Only wish it would be made of heavier stainless steel rather than painted galvanized steel. This will make them last longer. But oh, well. Happy non-the less with my grill :-)

I would buy the item again if quality is maintained. These are replacements for the originals. I've had my duel fuel grill for 5 years and I think this is the second set of flame shields. I rarely meat cook inside the house using the stove. I use my grill 4 to 6 times per week. So the shields have held up well.

A good purchase. Used when grilling. Works great. My old attachment started to rust after several years (even after using a cover for the grill). Maybe I should've cleaned the original shields a little more often? I will this time.
