If You Use a Cover Check Acorn Nut on Top of the Smokestack. I like this function on my grill so you have some control on the charcoal side by using the damper. However, a word of caution for people who use a grill cover for this 3 stack gas/charcoal grill. By taking the cover on and off when you use it, you can without realizing it, loosen up the acorn nut to the point where it pops off, and in my case, fell between the cracks of a very large deck with no access. My suggestion is, if you use a cover, to periodically check the acorn nut and ensure it is tight to prevent this from happening.

Doe syour grill have a threaded mating part. My 2121 does not have a threaded pin. I had to drill the threads out in order to press fit this onto the pin

will buy again. i was gifted a grill from my son ,needed a couple of parts to make it whole again ,so a new acorn nut for the stack damper along with a spring and the grill is functional again.My mother inlaw will be the new owner
