It was broken in 3 pieces when it arrived. It arrived broken in 3 pieces. When I bought my akorn the handle was also broken, so I bought it again and it is also broken

Never too hot to handle. Had to buy this as I dropped the first one and broke instantly. But the new works great. The handle is never too hot to handle.

Better than original. Much better than the original wood handle. Excited to see how long it lasts.

Charging me for a Handle that was a Bad Design Idea, Really? The handle was a design flaw being wood to begin with. Why CharGriller is charging for a new plastic one and then robbing us for $12 shipping is ridiculous. Should be charging the designer who put a wood handle on device that spends 100% of its time outside. Brilliant Idea. ANYWAY, I called to ask how long the handle would be backordered and the girl told me, should be in next week. I went ahead and ordered the replacement handle. That was 3 weeks ago and still havent seen a new handle. Not impressed with Cust Service or being charged for a flawed product that had to be replaced..

I would buy this product again. This handle is a nice upgrade over the wooden handle that came original. The new handle simply snapped into place. It was listed as backordered but came sooner than expected. Thanks Char-Griller!

Handle replacement for acorn. The handle broke the day I bought it. I feel like more weight should be added to the back on the bottom so it doesn't fall forward. I noticed all the handles in displays wherever I went were broken. The replacement handle I just bought is nice. Better than the original.

replacement is better than the original. as described, fit perfect. the original was painted and was flaking. this one is made of composite, so no worries about it holding up. fair price. very satisfied.

Hope it lasts longer than original handle. This is some sort of composite material. Original was wood and broke in half at a knot hole. Hopefully this will last a lot longer.
