Poor quality replacement. I bought this as my smoker kept getting too hot for the set temperature. I replaced other items related to the fan mechanism and believed this was the last resort. I replaced the flap it and the smoker still got too hot. The silicone looked like it was too flimsy for the conditions

Fan kit flapper worked. Fixed wild temp spikes but couldnt use new bolt because the nuts werent needed on my fan. Used old bolts.

They never sent the prouduct customer svc is mia. Never sent the item. Customer service hasn’t returned my email that I sent asking about my order status and it’s been 3 weeks since I ordered it.

screws. The screws were to fat for the retaining bar and fan housing. Had to use old screws.

Silicone Air Shutter replacement packaging issue. I purchased the silicone air shutter because the original one had warped and I was having temperature control issues. However, the replacement I ordered was folded over multiple times and rolled up. I tried for 2 weeks to flatten it out with no luck.... it's still worse than the one I wanted to replace forcing me to continue using the original.

Perfect fit and works great. The flap fit perfectly and works great. The old one was partially melted .

Replacement Part. Worked great. Had not issues at all. Easy to install

Order ahead of time. Dont wait until they fail. They showed up this time fast. The first time I ordered it took 2 weeks. Always order extra

Not Like It Used To Be. I received the air shutter and I was surprised that it was folded up in a plastic bag. Now the air shutter had creases in it. Also the steel bar is not shipped with it anymore. $15 for shipping for a $4 item??? $5 would be more than adequate. 14 business days before it is shipped???

KIT, FAN BOX SILICONE AIR SHUTTER, GRAVITY FED. When I received the silicone flap it was folded up and shoved into a small plastic bag which left permanent imperfections on the flap. I have been trying to flatten it out to no avail. It doesn't lay flat and I just hope it works ok, It would be much better if it was shipped flat in a larger bag or envelope.

Might change if i ever get it. Been a month and a half and still no shipping info

I need my parts. This order has been in the works for over a month and I have another order that has been going on for seven weeks. Your service is so poor I don’t even have words to express my disappointment. Don’t know what has happened but it didn’t used to be this way. You have taken two months out of my summertime cooking for lack of getting the parts I need

Get the part would be nice. Ordered and charged to card May 4 2023 . Still do not have the parts and they were in stock on order date. Cannot even get a person to talk to. Smoker is useless because of 6.00$ worth of parts. Worthless company will never do business with them again. Would like to get my money back.

Chargriller flap valve. I love chargriller and how fast they acted when i contacted them. This silicone flap valve is even better than the original. Thank you!

Back up. It's good to have a back up, just in case. However I noticed that this new flap is much thicker than the first. Might not ever have to use it.

Mounting strap for fan flap doesn't go together. Flap has been updated with larger holes. They sent new screws that fit the flap , but the screws do not fit the original mounting strap so they did send me a new strap to correct the problem, but the new strap and mounting screws don't go together. New screws have a shoulder which does fit the flap but the new strap has the smaller holes in it as does my original.

Hopefully this will be the last one needed. Part came as expected. Looks like this was an update from the OEM. Hopefully this one will last longer than a year. I love the grill but have have issues since purchased. Which Char-griller Customer has been great to assist but it seems there needed to be some more design time put in before launch.

Problems and more problems. The temperature probes don't work. The temperature is harder to regulate. The fan is weird and doesn't really serve a purpose. I wish the company would refund me or send me a new one I believe I got a lemon. I guess I will just make lemonade.

Better than original. Thicker than the original but wish there a retro kit for the fan housing so the flap doesn't go into the fan area and getting stuck there. The Akron auto kamado fan housing has such a feature

Works, but might need modification. Be aware that the new screws in the kit will not fit. I had to drill out the holes on the metal strap that sandwiches the flap. They even sent me a new strap and that one doesn't work withe the new screw design either. Also if you waych online videos, the kit comes with a metal strap, this is no longer true.
