Char-Griller THERMOMETER (ALL OLD CHARCOAL GRILLS)

Thermostat. This was as advertised. I’ve had my grill for 20 years and that old style thermostat fit just like it belonged.

Fast service. I had been looking all over for the hood thermometer and found it here for a good price.

Hard to install. Had a hard time getting this new guage intalled, got slightly damaged from installation. I only replaced this thermometer because the glass broke on my original.

Parts in Stock. I am so glad that the company keeps parts in stock for the older models. Thank You!

I WOULD BUY THIS AGAIN AND AGAIN! Refurbished my old smoker and replaced the thermometer. Perfect fit. Works beautifully. Looks like a new smoker!

Fits perfectly! After 12 years, I wasn't sure if the old thermometer on my Char-Griller was still accurate. The replacement part fit perfectly and I'm thinking it's a more accurate temperature now.

Had to exchange. It came banged up. I sent it back for an exchange, now waiting...

Perfect fit. Easy to remove the old gauge and pop in the new gauge. Not sure how long it will last as the old thermometer was ruined by water.

Good, but not fully good. PROS: The unit appears to be an identical match to my old unit. Removing the old one and installing the new one was simple and quick. CONS: After the first rain the unit collected water inside it. Never had this problem with the old one.

Solid... Solid replacement/....However, Chargrilelr should really offer a better/higher end/more accurate option as well...but which fits into the cutout!

Made for EZ PZ installation. Super EZ to install. Switched the old and the new within minutes. Looks great

Not so good. First rain the thermometer filled with water same as the old one. This is not acceptable. The first time you grill the water turns to steam and blows the glass out. I drilled two holes in the new one. One for drainage and one for air to enter so it would drain when it rains.

Let's see how it holds up. Looks good. Just have to wait and see if it will last.

Needed a replacement. After 15 years of use and winter storage outside I needed a new thermometer. It came on time, worked, and should be good for another 15 years. I use my Model 1224 for grilling, smoking, and BBQing. The only parts replaced are the thermometer and ash pan.
