Handy. I have a large, propane powered generator for power outages. I use a 100# propane cylinder to provide fuel. Problem is, the generator has a short supply hose, which can't reach the fuel valve of the tank. This hose worked perfectly to allow fuel to reach my generator while the tank stays strapped to the wall.

Nice propane extension. This extension works very well. It measures about 15 feet and has a gauge on it to tell you when you're getting close to empty. I have tried it on my Patio propane fire pit so that the tank is behind some patio furniture. It looks a lot better than staring at a tank. I've also tried it In a shed that has been using for a workshop. I ran it through the tank is outside and the heater is inside. Give me a little bit more room and it's nice not having a tank full of propane in an area that you're working. I definitely have a CO2 Fire detector and a explosive gas detector just in case.

Well made, works well, with one gripe. I got this to use with my gas heater and propane tank that I use for my garage during colder months. The gas tank gauge, and the hose length was the draw to obtaining this hose. Using a longer hose allows the tank to be outside with the heater still in the garage. Upon opening the package the hose is very heavy duty, 15' feet long and the brass fittings are beefy, it seems vey well made. The gauge has Green(full), Yellow(low), and Red(refill) markings on it, showing the remaining gas level in the tank. When attempting to attach the hose to my heater, I realized my heater has a different fitting than the one on this hose. I also attempted to put it on my gas grill, but that had the same fitting as my heater so this was not compatible for my devices. My neighbor has a grill which fits this fitting so we installed it on his grill. Attaching the other end of the hose to the propane tank is done easily by hand twisting/tightening. Once the gas was turned on, the gauge showed halfway in the Green, which we assume is still pretty full. There are no percentage numbers on the gauge, so it's mostly just an estimate of how much gas is left in the tank. The one thing I didn't care for is that the gauge is on the end that attaches to the grill (or whatever you may use it on), and is not easily visible without leaning over at the connection point. Not Compatible with Weber Portable Gas Grill. I got this extension hose so that I could connect my Weber Traveler grill to a larger propane tank than the small one lb tank that connects directly to the grill. This hose is well made and I especially like the gauge that indicates how much propane is still in the tank. This has been a problem with the small green canisters. I move the grill further out on my lanai to cook so the 15 ft hose lets me move the grill but not have to drag the tank with it. So far it seems that this hose will not fit my portable gas grill. I am going to see if there is an adapter to make it work. I am assuming that the hose fits larger gas grills.

Generous addition of length for a propane tank. Our propane grill is awesome, but if it had a flaw, it would be the ridiculous length of hose for the propane. You can't actually move the grill a single inch without simultaneously picking up the propane tank and coordinating this with your teenager is so much fun...This longer hose allows me to pre-position the tank, and THEN move the grill. So far, I've detected zero leakage, and I love the gauge included that tells me where I'm at on the tank. In point of fact, this hose has a higher quality feel to it than the one that came with the grill. I expect this to last for many years, and I'm happy that the tank level can be known before I start cooking!

Good price for a good hose at 15 feet! So far -so good. We have only used it a couple of times so far , and it function like it should., it doesn't leak and seems to be made of good materials. As with all propane hoses, time will tell on the materials used andif chemicals start leeching form the rubber. Hopefully this reasonably price hose will not have any issues.

Nice hose, very handy. Hose works great, is easy to install and fits perfect at both ends. It actually fits better than the hose that comes with our propane burners. Brief rant: Note that these things are unrepairable -- the "nose" has a very specific shape and strategically located gaps that means normal o-rings and gaskets will not seal. It's actually a bad design, though it's a totally normal design for US propane systems.

Fantastic For Keeping Tanks Away from the Flames. This is what we needed to move our propane tank further from the house. The quality exactly what I'd expect from any propane hose and it it fits our tank as expected. It's obviously very flexible being made of rubber, but that's also it's downside. Like any other rubber material, this hose is not impervious to the damage caused by the sun's UV rays so it's will break down in time as other hoses do, including garden hoses and extreme heat and cold temperatures will add accelerate that breakdown. Therefore I think it's critical to keep that in mind and to check it from time to time for UV damage if yours is exposed to the sun. This is very easy to use and gives you flexibly regarding the placement of your propane tanks, however if your tanks provide propane to your kitchen stove for example, you'd be better off in my opinion to use metal or steel lines which aren't going to breakdown in time the way rubber does. It's going to be a higher up-front cost to do that, but it'll literally last a lifetime. This functions exactly as it should, just remember to confirm your connection type prior to ordering. Where it really excels is the 15' length as that provides a lot of flexibility regarding tank placement. It's also nice to have the gauge that it provides as one of tanks literally ran dry while my wife was in the middle of using the kitchen stove. At the current price, you can't go wrong with this in my opinion.

Great for use with emergency generator. Living in Central Florida during storm season an emergency generator is a necessity. I have two 12K generators that I run off propane. The hose that came with the units is only about 5 feet long which is fine for a small tank but not so good when I want to use a 100 pound tank. This is a great hose and being 15 feet allows me to easily connect to a 100 pound tank while keeping it at a safe distance. I like the gauge as this will help me monitor the tanks and switch them out when needed (not too early or too late). Connectors are easy to use and secure nicely with no leaks. I will be getting a second one for my other generator as well.

The hose was able to attach to my tank on one end and the Y on the other without any discernible leaks. Great find! This extension nose is a great find for use with our propane tanks. We primarily use propane for steaming oysters, cooking during a prolonged power outage and for a portable fire pit. At Halloween, we set up a treat station at the end of our driveway to greet trick-or-treaters. We use the fire pit for warmth and ambience. This hose allows us to set the tank away from us and the trick or-treaters. The hose, made of rubber and all-brass fittings, feels durable. The attached gauge is a great addition to the hose. This hose is now attached to the generator and attached to a propane tank, waiting in the event either a hurricane or tropical storm knocks out our power. Just What I Needed. Are you sick of running out of gas at the worst possible time? Yeah, I was also. I had looked around and found some gas cylinders that had the gauge on them, but they were all high-priced and didn't make sense as I have to exchange tanks most of the time instead of having them refilled. I found this hose that killed two birds with one stone, so to speak. I is basically an extension of the like to my griddle with makes it easy to remove the tank and change it out without having to contort myself to disconnect the hose under the griddle/bbq just to remove the tank. Now I can pull the tank out and disconnect it away from the cabinet the tank sits in. This was an unexpected bonus. The gauge being on the line itself is easy to read and I don't have to worry about exchanging my tank as the gauge will always be there. When I first started to screw the hose onto the tank side, it was crooked as if it was starting to cross-thread. This is very strange, given the size of the threads. I have never had that happen before. I backed the connection off and did it again and it went on fine. I do not see or smell any leaks, but time will tell. I will also report back on the accuracy of the gauge, but I have been using this tank for about a week and the guage appears to be indicating where it should.

Quality Product, Affordable Price. It's hurricane season once again here in South Florida, always a good time to look for upgrades to my emergency generator setup. One thing on my list was to get a longer hose so I didn't have to put my propane tank right next to the generator. This hose was exactly what was needed. When the hose arrived, I was pleased to see that what I received was exactly what was described in the listing. The hose is rated at 350PSI and is embossed with the CSA logo and file number. The fittings are brass, and the QCC fitting's contact surface was smoothly machined and exhibited a light coating of silicone grease. (Look closely at the photo.) Everything seems to be just how it should be, and there where no leaks when I connected everything. I have only one little nitpicking comment: The gauge doesn't have a glow-in-the-dark dial and pointer as some others do. It would be nice to have for night time use. So maybe the rating should be 4.75, but we have to round up to 5-Stars. Bottom Line: If you need a 15 foot extension hose, this one's fine and the sub twenty dollar price makes it a good value too.
