It takes gettimg used to.. i did a minor update to my kitchen and decided to try out induction with this top. i have decided that a gas range is what i want in the future. if i had to buy another induction i would not buy this brand. On a setting of 5 or below it pulses on amd off every 5 seconds instead of staying on consistently. Boils things fine but it is kinda weird thing to do. I am still figuring oit which pans work best but on some pans the element stops heating and i have to move it to another element. It does t

Installation was a little difficult because the cord is short by almost 3 inches, so be aware of where the electrical connection is. The stove itself is amazing how quickly it gets hot. It can be a learning curve to adjust your cooking time, especially anything fried in oil. We've tried out all the settings, including Flex bridge. The Flex bridge is great for big pots of boiling water

First impression has been great!. Works great so far. Took a few uses to get used to the buzzing sound it makes but I think this is typical of induction cooktops and it isn't loud, just different. Heats up so much faster than our old standard electric cooktop and we cook everything at much lower heat settings. Love the bridge element for use with our largest skillet. Cleans up so nicely since food does not burn onto the heating elements. Installation was easy - same electrical connections and requirements of our old unit. Initially turned off by the unknown brand name, but happy in the end that we took a chance and saved a lot of money
Good value for the cost, looks great and works well. The only issue is that the stovetop locks too easily if you push too long or hard on the main power button. The unlock does not work and I have to turn to power off at the breaker to reset the stovetop to make it operational again. The power is not at smooth as my last stovetop (the heat seems to stop and start) but the cooking doesn't seem to matter.

This is a quality induction cooktop.. We are very pleased with this induction cooktop. We replaced our old induction cooktop with this unit. This fit into our existing 36" cutout as described. It takes special cookware, but many pots and pans are already induction-ready as long as the bottom of the pan is magnetic. The cooktop does get warm from the pan heating up, but the surface does not heat up the cook. If you are looking for a great cooktop this one is very good and at this price very comparable to other types of cooktops. Also, this cooktop is very safe to use with no flame and no heating elements
