Enclosure Kit for Flashforge AD5X

Install was a breeze!. I ordered the enclosure and started printing. I got it done one day before the parts arrived. Went together very easily, and the instructions were easy to follow. Thanks for a great AD5X and Creator 5 Printers!

Outstanding. I love the ease of installing it and the fun and satisfaction of printing parts for my own machine. Only flaw was that I didn’t get the M3x8 screws for the spool holders and the M3x20 are too short for the spacer that prints out but it is easily modified. Depending what u use to print that part with

Good addition. Took a Minute to print the frame but looks fairly good done a little bit finicky with the screws on the ifs one side didn’t want to thread in 1 **** Holds so living with it

Looks good and cuts down some of the printer noise. Looks good and easy to install with one caveat. The two screws that hold the ifs & spacer to the frame are just a little bit short. However, two of the long screws that initially held the build plate down are just the right length. Good thing I never throw screws away

Great kit. Very happy with it.. Quite impressed with the noise reduction. Instructions were very clear and was everything packaged well. Protective film is kind of a pain to remove, but finished product looks great. Start printing the parts whenever you order, it'll take a couple days for everything to get done. Only complaint, the supports within the display holder are a pain to remove

AD5X Enclosure kit. Impressed. Delivery time was very quick, just a few days. Everything well packaged and secured in the box. The quality of the hardware was good, no stripped or marred screw heads during assembly. Great, easy to follow instructions, The printer looks so much better and printing ABS is now a breeze

Great product. Had a great deal. Instruction was clear and eazy. The only con is about the front lower right part. I had to remove a screw from the machine and put it back after but it wasn't the shown one and it has a hole to clear a round head screw that wasn't at the right place. I had to drill another one. But it was the only issue with the kit. I'm very satisfy with my purchase and the shipping was fast

Arrived on time and in good condition,. The supplied parts are nicely made and well labeled and fit relatively well with the printed parts. A bit of fitment adjustment needed around the door on mine. I had no idea of the amount of filament needed but it was somewhere near 3 Kilos to print all the parts. I ended using more than I had planned for and needed to use roll ends to finish the print. Just plan to order enough of your preferred color filament

un accesorio muy útil. Como se puede ver en la imagen todas las piezas del kit se integraron perfectamente con las piezas impresas del kit. La reducción de ruido y de polvo en la impresora a parte de darle su propio entorno a la misma ya que crea una cámara con una temperatura constante lo convierte en un accesorio cas imprescindible. Sobre todo si tu impresora te acompaña en tu lugar de trabajo

All good, no issues. The Hulk based enclosure is complete. The enclosure kit was great. All holes drilled properly and lined up well. All fasteners needed were included. Including tools for the installation. Directions were accurate and easy to follow

Very quiet printer. After installing this enclosure, my printer runs very quietly, which is a huge plus. The only downside was printing the side panel holders—it took nearly two days to complete. Because the part includes a logo, supports were required and ended up printing inside the hole, making them very difficult to remove

The printing process is very easy. It took me about 40 hours of printing and I didn't have any printing failure. With the enclosure on the noise is a little bit dampened, so it is an improvement in this area also. There are two things that I would improve. The first one is the E1 piece I feel it a little bit loose and the room for the cable of the screen could be better. And the second one is the top part, the IFS Teflon tubes touch with the top lid a little bit (at least in my case). But it is a great kit anyway.

AD5X Enclosure. As I write this, I have just finished installing the enclosure kit. Easy to install. I had to print it in PLA because the roll of PETG I had has big bulges in it and was jamming at the inlet tube. So even if I have to reprint it now that the enclosure is in place, I can try to print in ABS for the first time

Really great idea for AD5X. Printing the supports is a good way to learn about your AD5X. Great printer and all parts a perfect fit together. A good idea to make the four top side pieces at least 40mm longer, that will help prevent the filament tubes hitting the lid. I made my top bands 40mm high, not quite enough so added spacers later. The Acrylic Panels finish the job pefectly

Enclosure items good quality the download of the frame was fine but will need to add 40mm to the hight in top half using slicer to clear the filament feed tubes hopefully Flashfordge will release a modified version

Print and install. A Really nice enclosure for the Flashforge AD5X. You'll spend a few days printing and go through a couple rolls of filament, but it will be worth it. The parts fit together well and the total assembly was about a few hours for me. I'm very happy with the results

Enclosure kit. This is a great piece of additional kit worth the money and worth doing fitted well with no issue. I’ve added the camera and the lighting kit as well again all worth doing No issues and straight forward

Overall a good value. The kit is of nice quality and great packaging. Tools and hardware is included. There is some room for improvements. As far as I can tell they did not intend to add any washers or backing parts to the handles and hinges onto the acrylic. This is just bad practice especially on slotted holes. I have made some and included them at printables under the user WIKALLEN. Overall the I am happy with the kit purchase. Easy to assemble and fits nicely

SOOOOO Quiet!!. Printing took forever but it is worth it! After spending all that time printing I was worried that it wasn't worth the effort, but I was WRONG! I assembled and stated printing and noise reduction is impressive. I have not used with ABS or other materials that need warm environment, but it seems to be a warm space so I am very hopeful! So far I have been nothing but impressed by my total experience with my AD5X and cannot say enough about how much fun I am having with it!

New to this hobby.... I'm New to this hobby. After 3 months of receiving and learning my Adventurer 5M Pro, I couldn't stop there! I purchased the Flashforge AD5X multi color printer! I then printed out the enclosure utilizing both printers at the same time. The Enclosure Kit for the AD5X is phenomenal! The manual was easy to read and understand, well packed and had all the parts needed. I'm so happy to have chosen Flashforge as my First and Second Printers!!! Would I do it again? YES, in a Heartbeat!!! Thank You Flashforge! -Pete

Excellent piece of kit - once you get it assembled... It's a great bit of kit and certainly keeps the heat in - but be advised to start 3d printing the surrounds BEFORE your kit arrives - as it takes a few DAYS of solid printing to get all of the bits.. I'd also advise 2 things... 1) When you remove the screen - SECURE it to the top rail, as many users have found the screen to have dropped and broken the ribbon cable (I did this!!!). However a replacement ribbon cable sorted out the problem... 2) Where it says about glueing the 2 magnets into the door frame - do this FIRST!!! Else you'll be waiting for the glue to dry!!!

Flash forge Enclosure. So I’ve finished the enclosure and really happy with it, it was pretty easy to follow the instructions and looks good complete. I’ve seen a few people moaning about the clearance of the top panel against the filament tubes but it doesn’t seem to affect the top lid during print. The noise is noticeably quieter too. Top job

Good kit and well needed. Bought the AD5X enclosure kit to reduce some noise from my printer the kit comes well packaged and parts inside all labeled up well including tools. after hours of printing the parts needed to fit the kit it was easy to do , one thing though the instructions are a bit confusing and the details in the pictures are quite hard to make out especially for someone with bad eyesight like me lol . also i found the the instructions need to be revised as far as the spacer for the IFS plate as it shows the old revision plate in the instructions which is a thin metal plate but the new plate revision on the printer is a thicker plastic plate which doesnt require the spacer to be used but this is not mentioned in the instructions so too a while to realise this after a few moments of head scratching and measuring . all in all though the noise has dropped slightly which is good and what i needed

AD5X enclosure. the enclosure took forever to ship and traveled in a roundabout way to get here. the enclosure was very well packed and the assembly was very straightforward. I did end up missing 1 **** the hold the bracket for the reel spools. The instructions were very easy to follow

Great. Wish the plexi was clearer but works great. A couple screw bags were labelled different from the manual but we figured it out Easy to follow for the most part. I think all the parts that required removal and reinstall should be mentioned at the start(ie. Printer hoses, clips etc) this way you arent awkwardly removing items around new installed pieces. Overall, i loved it.

Enclosure exactly as described.. The parts to be printed where easy to do, and managed in PETG so it had more strength and heat ristance. This took about 1.5 reels on filament (just over). but it does help get to grips with the AD5X. Parts fitted together perfectly and very satisfying to slide the pannels in place, containined in the box. Instrcutions easy to follow and some of the screws will be taken out and re-used described in the instructions as some indictor arrows in both directions. Very pleased with the result. I did consider doing it in more interesting colours and design, but know It will be fleating and just used for function. Enjoyed putting it all together and printing. Happy with the the result. The new version seems to be fine, fitting wise. It may be the height adjustment was already taken into account. Rear struts I suggest to locate the spool mount screws first as their location can be a bit fiddly and seem like you are rounding them off

Flashforge AD5X Enclosure KIT. Being new to the World of 3D printing i was somewhat surprised i needed to print the vast majority of the components to build the enclosure, however it turned out to be a great insight into what can be printed on the AD5X, the various pieces fitted together well and more importantly everything fitted onto the framework as it should with all holes being accuratley plced. The full set of tools needed to assemble the kit onto the frame was a nice touch and the instructions were very clear and well written, all in all it was a very easy task to undertake once the print file was downloaded and the printer completed the hard work of actually printing the components

Easy print. I am a total noob at 3D printing, so having the files already sorted for me was great. Yes I did print it out in PLA. The enclosure kit arrived quickly and using the instructions on the wiki was a breeze to build. The only fault it the lug on the name bar is too long and clips the print head as it passes

The enclosure dyi. Ordered kit and read instructions, printed all need pieces and when I received the package I was ready to assemble. Instructions were easy to follow and easy to complete. Printer works very well right out of the box

AD5X Enclosure Kit and Installation. No problems. Printing the components for the frame, although took a fair bit of time, was straightforward. Kit instructions were excellent and everything fits well. Using my sound meter, I can say that 10-12 db noise reduction is possible. Worth the money as my printer is shared with my Amateur Radio equipment room and the enclosure cuts the noise down appreciably, allowing me to operate most of the time without headphones

Keeping it clean. Kit did arrive after some weeks from order when an AD5M kit came in a couple of days. I had all the parts pre printed ready and it assembled in about an hour. I haven’t used printer on anything higher temp than Petg so can’t comment on ABS use. I found I was having to clean the part cooling fan every couple of days due to having a parrot and they create a lot of dust since fitting enclosure I haven’t needed to do anything. I keep forgetting there’s a door now and end up hitting it when I go to remove any ooze that didn’t clear the poop shoot. I think it was around 2kg of filament to print and now machine is much quieter

Great. Ordered the enclosure kit as making some serious mods to the unit so I can use some of the more volatile filament. Lights air filtration etc

AD5X Enclosure. Basically what you purchase for $50.00 is 8 plexiglass sheets and screws. The actual enclosure structure must be printed. It will take about 55 hours and about two 1Kg spools of filament. The printed pieces fit well and assemble quickly. The top struts really need to be higher as the filament tubes rub the lid during printing (even with the new version ), All in all a nice addition to your AD5X

great product. I had one problem. When I ordered the enclosure I down loaded the parts the needed to print and printed them. When I reached the last part where you install the top pieces I noticed that the top would not got over the distribution tubes. I looked on line and saw that there was newer version so I downloaded those and reprinted the top brackets. I'm glad I found that and now the enclosure is Great. Thanks

I purchased the Flashforge Enclosure kit a few weeks ago after not finding the package that was delivered for while, I finally found it hiding behind some rubbish, On opening the box, everything was as expected, So now just waiting for the Flashforge AD5X to arrive on Thursday 2nd October, than a i will start to print the frame Thank You Flashforge for a brilliant Enclosure kit

great peice of kit. I pronted this to get myself used to using the machine as the files were already to go. It was accurate when i put it together i had no issues, all screws and parts lined up well

Better than I expected. When I ordered the AD5X I knew I would want the enclosure so they were both ordered together. I knew I was just getting the plexiglass and the hardware kit for the enclosure. So I then downloaded the MF files from flashforge for the parts that I needed to print for the enclosure. Wow flashforge did an amazing job getting these files done tolerances were perfect . I printed the files in PETG and the are great. I also bought the camera for this printer due to i did not want to install the camera after the enclosure, well I forgot put the enclosure together and the saw the camera on my desk. To my suprise flashforge eleven thought of that. The camera install took 2 minutes due to the enclosure had the **** hole in it for the camera install. Great job Flashforge

Good enclosure kit (acrylic panels and fixings only) the corner pieces and other parts are self printed, I used 0.8 nozzle the parts come out perfect fit and very strong. A bit pricey with shipping to U.K (64.99) but great for keeping sound/smells in and dust/debri out of printer. Assembly video Ali_Chair on Youtube :-)

I received my AD5X enclosure kit yesterday. I have printed two parts so far. lol. Printing others now. I may have to change course and download that volcanic crack file. Looks pretty amaizng.
