Description

EXAIR’s 4″ Gen4 Super Ion Air Wipe provides a uniform 360° ionized airstream that is easy to clamp around a part for eliminating static electricity and contaminants. It is ideal for use on pipe, cable, extruded shapes, hose, wire and more. The high volume, high velocity flow attaches itself to the surface and wipes it down with static eliminating ions. The airflow stays attached to the surface and is effective far away from where the Gen4 Super Ion Air Wipe is mounted. An optional pressure regulator provides infinite control of the air volume and velocity

Super Ion Air Wipe Models
Super Ion Air Wipes are available in three different model types: Super Ion Air Wipe – includes the Super Ion Air Wipe and 5′ (1.52m) armor shielded cable. Super Ion Air Wipe Systems – include a Super Ion Air Wipe and Model 7960 Power Supply (115 VAC/230 VAC, 50/60Hz). Super Ion Air Wipe Kits – include a Super Ion Air Wipe, Model 7960 Power Supply, shim set, filter separator and pressure regulator (with coupler).

Accessories

Power Supply – The Model 7960 selectable voltage Power Supply allows you to choose the input voltages of 115 VAC or 230 VAC. The modular cable with electromagnetic shielding protects sensitive electronics against electromagnetic interference while easing connections and routing. An integrated fuse on the primary protects against voltage spikes. Power Supplies are UL Component Recognized to U.S. and Canadian Standards, and are CE and RoHS compliant.

Shim Sets – The compressed air exhausts through a gap which is set with a shim positioned between the cap and the body of the Super Air Wipe. The Super Ion Air Wipe is shipped with a .002″ (0.05mm) thick stainless steel shim installed which works best for most applications. Force and flow may be easily increased by adding shims to open the gap. Increasing the gap opening offers higher velocity and harder hitting force. Air consumption and noise will be slightly higher. Super Ion Air Wipe shim sets include two .002″ (0.05mm) stainless steel shims that can be stacked. Shim sets are included with all kits or can be purchased separately.
