Journey So Lite® C2 Ultra Lightweight Wheelchair

What a great find!! Recommended by our daughter-in-law, who had bought two for her father (one for at home; one for trips out in the car)—this lightweight but sturdy and stylish wheelchair has been a game changer for my husband. Parkinson’s and several knee surgeries have him using a walker to get about during the day. However, it is the Journey that makes it possible to scoot right up to the table for meals or a game of chess, or up to his computer desk to work. And when we head out for longer “walks” or to an away appointment (dinner out or a Dr appointment), the Journey folds easily (straps on either side are genius!) for lifting into the trunk. We have added a cushy patio cushion for those times he wants to sit for a longer while to watch a movie or listen to a concert. In short—the Journey is on our very short list of all-time best purchases!!

VERY LIGHT. This chair is very light and easy to fold and unfold. It is great for when we just need a quick use (we have a heavier one for all day use that reclines). This is a great option for times when we just don't see the value in getting the larger heavier one out. It seems to be comfortable enough for non-extended uses for our son/

Journey So Lite Wheelchair. Much easier to use than the one we had. I love the brakes on the handles. Lite and much easier to use and put in my trunk. It was a good buy.

Customer Service. We have purchased two electric wheelchairs from Journey and love their products. The second chair was damaged in transit and had to be replaced. Lisa Scott in Customer Service was very helpful. She went above and beyond to make certain my handicap brother was cared for. Everyone we have delt with at Journey has been knowledgeable and professional. Lisa went the extra mile to make sure we received exceptional service. Five stars to Journey and specifically to Lisa Scott.

Great chair. This chair is perfect for us. Comfortable and easy to wheel. As her caretaker and being older myself it is easy to lift and travel with. Even her doctor liked it and found it well made.

Journey So-Lite C-2. Great wheelchair, yet I can’t find replacement parts.. I need to replace the front locking brakes which appears easy to do, just can’t find customer support or a “parts” icon on the website. I would give it 5 stars if the company made it easier to buy these simple parts.

Better than we had expected. My 77 year old wife broke her femur. (The Thigh bone) Very painful for her and recover is glacier show. I'm 82 and recently had my entire lumbar fused together. Due to weight restriction on me lifting, I needed a light weight wheelchair that I could load into our Rav4. With the push handles folded down, I can role it in, lock the rear wheels and drive off. No other folding, and no part removal necessary. The wife is happy and independent now. The So Lite C1 seems to be built with quality parts and pieces and using the tool they sent with it I found no loose or stripped screws. I realize it likely isn't as strong as a 40-50 lb. steel chair would be. But for us, it should last as long as we will need it and light enough to load easily and use anywhere. It is black with res seat inserts and res and black accents. Pretty. We are very pleased and highly recommend it.

Twice around the world. I tried several brands of light, folding wheelchairs to use for travel. This one is the clear winner. Light and durable. Folds down small for gate checking on a plane or to put in a taxi trunk. I've used it around the world for 2 years now and still going. Note, I am 6'1" and 210 lbs. In hotel rooms I put a suitcase on the seat for weight and use it as a walker.

Question: is this model available motorized.? Well done!

Great & lightweight. However I have difficulty the small tire. It's difficult to move fast in them. Everything else about it is great

This wheelchair is a game changer for patient/caregiver! This chair is the best thing we have discovered!! The chair is so much lighter to push, patient manageability increased, loading in the vehicle with a swing of a couple of fingers! It's worth the price!!

Best I have tried. I bought 3 similar products to use when traveling (flying). This is the best I've tried. Fairly sturdy and lightweight. Folds easily for a car trunk or checking on a plane.

Amazing Freedom! I found this product in a local mobility store 5 months ago. It had arrived the day before and they were not familiar with it. It is the best money I have ever spent. It has been life changing and has brought me so much freedom. It is much easier for me to lift and load into the trunk of my small Toyota Corolla than a light weight rollator. I can only walk a few feet. It does not seem to weigh nearly as much as described. I can roll up to the trunk, pop off the footrest and tuck them in the trunk. I lift myself up and sit on the bumper, turn the back of the chair toward me and flip the seatback down. When reaching over the low seat back, and resting the bottom of my forearms on the seatback, I can grab the loops on the side of the seat and 'pop it' to fold, effortlessly. I then take 1 hand and spin the chair sideways, put my foot out and gently lean the chair against my foot, (which takes the outer wheel off the ground a tad) and i can easily push it closed with 1 gentle push down with my hand. I can lift it and turn it into the trunk of the car without ever getting off the bumper. I also sit on the bumper to remove it from the trunk and I can easily turn, grab it and slide it out with little effort. I do not remove wheels. This is all done from a sitting position. I takes less than 30 seconds. The most difficult thing for me is walking the few feet from car door to trunk without falling. This chair is very light weight and very well made. A nice extra is tha
