Masterbuilt Meat Probe (Electric Smokers)

This probe would not give an accurate reading and. I bought this meat probe and installed it. It would not read accurately it read about 60 degrees F too high and there was no way to calibrate it. This is the 3rd probe I’ve changed out since I got my smoker the first one lasted about one year the second one two years and this one would not work at all. I’m going to purchase a separate digital meat probe and be done with this. Very disappointed with this probe wasting my time and money as well as the lack of customer support for my Smoker.

I'm sure it works, but not for me. Tech should have known that it wasn't the probe - oh well $25 down the drain - easily replaced by a $5 meat thermometer. Masterbuilt temp probes and bluetooth are ancient

Probe. Received the meat probe just fine but the replace is way tricky trying to feed the light wire through the winding channel.

Priced right. I replaced the meat probe after 4 years of use due to it failing, not a real issue. But, after ordering and installing the new probe it reads way high. For example, at 70 degrees "F" the new probe registers 146 degrees "F". I have sent three separate requests for help to Masterbuilt over the last month and the only response I get is "Thanks for shopping with us". So, I am hoping someone will read this review and contact me about calibrating or replacing the probe. "HELLO" anyone there at Masterbuilt reading this? I need help.

Poor customer support and communication. Ordered a repair part more than two weeks ago. No communication. No part. No way to contact customer support directly either email or phone. Only rating due to the results I have experienced is bad.

no support for meat probe. That meat probe does not work with my 20070215 smoker. Masterbuilt does not have phone support and their on line catalog is not any good for cross reference.

3rd probe installed still not reading accurately. I've now bought 3 new probes and one new control pannel, and STILL have the same problem of meat probe reading way way higher than actual temp of the meat I'm smoking.

Probe Was Received Damaged. Because no one would respond to my initial claim, I am contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge.

Did not work! I ordered a replacement meat probe for my smoker. When I installed it it said the temperature was 149 when the ambient temp was 79. I filed a report on line and received a reply about 10 days later that closed my case and said they could not help me because my smoker was not under warranty. They do not provide support for parts. All I wanted to know was if I had ordered the right one or return it, but apparently there is no one ther to talk to or provide any service besides warranty service.
