NewAge Pro – 56″ x 24.5″ DP Backsplash Kit – Black

Excellent stuff, all worked as planned. Product was great, little issue with damage delivery. But company stood behind that.

Extreme Buyers Remorse. This might've been the only piece of my order that didn't have any quality control issues. I ordered the 9 piece Pro Series set, and the entire experience was absolutely atrocious from beginning to end. The quality control is terrible, different sized bolts on the leveling feet, which required constant switching of wrenches, hinges not properly aligned causing doors to not shut properly, one cabinet had 2 large dents which New Age did give me a credit for. On top of all of that, their own website is either outdated, or just has bad info. The FAQ page for Pro Series states that only Performance Plus series has adjustable hinges. So, why are the reps sending me documentation and having my adjust the hinges on my pro series? Was mine assembled with the wrong hardware? Is the FAQ inaccurate and Pro Series does have adjustable hinges? Does the Performance Plus series even exist? I'm just flabbergasted at the lack of attention to detail and obvious poor QC going on here. I will never recommend New Age products to anyone, and it's a shame that one of the center pieces of my garage refinish now reminds me of the horrible choice I made to go with New Age. Every time I have to shut my cabinets to completely close them I wince. The credit back will never offset the bad experience.

Great product built to last. The products upper and lower cabinets in 9 piece set of pro series are functional and built to the highest quality. I will be ordering more to replace old wood cabinets

Color does not match to previous order. I bought more panels to extend the wall and the panels in this shipment have a slightly different color. Note that the website makes it look like stainless steel, but it is actually grey. I went ahead and installed it to save time and effort, but give the price and wait I was expecting more

Resent lost order. I ordered 2each 16’ slatwalls & accessory kit. UPS failed to deliver one of the 16’ slatwalls. After several weeks of New Age assisting me to have UPS deliver the 3rd package, NewAge honorably chose to ship me the remainder of the order at no additional charge to me. Their representatives were very professional, courteous & attentive to my issue and determined to resolve the issue. Excellent communication throughout the process. Thankful for companies that still value customer service. All of the products that I have received are of very high quality and easy to install.

Be aware of impact of combining 2 sets together.. Great product and very useful. Hanging directions should have reminded installers as to which piece should go in on the bottom. Also: should advise that installing two on top on each other will not give you an aggregate section of 2 x 24" section, but less than that, as the bottom of the bottom panel is not an effective panel and shouldn't be used when trying to place to sets one on top of another.

Great quality with some kirks. Very sturdy parts. I wish the hooks aren't so loose and stay on better. Sometimes the hooks can be knocked off when you take a tool off.

Good look to accompany a cabinet set. The backsplash looks great with the 9-piece Bold Series Set. It’s metal and very sturdy. I had to cut for two outlets and the thick metal made it tricky but I’m glad that it’s study.

Figs Backsplash. Product is of top quality and ordering process/shipping great. Assembly instructions need to be improved. Confusing 🫤

It does not match if you are putting this end to end it will NOT match the section beside it. After a complete new set was set to me, it still does not all match. I am not sure why this is so hard to accomplish. Not sure if its milled in different ways or painted on different assembly lines or what. I have became the talk of the neighborhood and even the UPS and FedEx guys are checking with me to see if this will ever be resolved. I can tell you I am about to give up but they wont refund my money.

Keep Shopping. Poor quality for the price. There are better designs and less expensive options with competitors

Best backsplash for the money.. Great quality with this company. I would recommend to anyone.

Backsplash heaven. Super easy toinstall and very well made. Works flawlessly!

Really nice piece!. Much nicer than anticipated. Pictures don't do it justice online.

Strong and Stylish Backsplash. Solid steel, not plastic, well coated/painted, looks great between the stainless steel countertop and the upper cabinets.

Slat wall. The slatwall fit perfectly with my 9 piece pro series set. It really made the overall set simply pop with a great custom look. Plus lots of pegboard area to work with

Absolute Horrible Customer Service. Received system with both of the tall cabinets damaged, shipping container was not damaged, so damage must be from factory. I contacted New Age Products Customer Support and their canned statement is "Please allow us sometime as the person who is already working on your case is already on a call right now" followed up by another canned statement "Let me discuss about the resolution and send you an email" There never is a resolution email. All they do is delay, delay and then delay some more. I offered them an inexpensive, reasonable solution but nothing. So I have no further recourse but to return the entire garage storage system I purchased thru Costco. Thank Goodness they will allow returns. The undamaged pieces are very nice, just wish they would allow me to get what I paid for -An Undamaged Garage Storage System. Now is that asking too much?

Great Product. Great quality and design. Everything fits perfectly together with this entire system.

NewAge Pro Series Diamond Plate Slatwall Backsplas. Well built, very well designed, many helpful assessories.

Solid steel and strong. Was easy to install and the finished product is professional grade

You want be disappointed.. Easy to install and looks fantastic. Everything was well made

Great Product + Easy to Install. great product and very easy to install. Product was well packed and came with all accessories. Appreciated the extra hardware included with the shipment.

Could be better. I think the slat wall is definitely sturdy, I am disappointed with the way the attachments fit into the wall. There is no way to keep them from falling out. Wish they would stick in better. Personally, I would go with "wall control" if I could do it again.

Good Product. Installed them myself and they were pretty easy. Good quality and they look great in my garage.

Love it!!. High quality, heavy duty steel. Very easy installation process!

DP Backsplash Kit. Extremely heavy duty slat wall back splash! Very easy installation.

Great slat wall accessories not so much. The product came on time and relatively undamaged. The installation was easy and gave me the look I wanted. I was a bit disappointed with the hooks and accessories as they tend to fall off when removing a tool.

Poor design of parts bins.. These do not fit the backsplash very well. The clip is too small and pops off.

Don't expect any accessories or starter pack. Very pricey for what you get. I was told that it came with accessories for it. It did not. It has a top trim pieces with a magnet that did not work so I had to use 3M double sided tape

Expect shipping damage, great load rating. Kit came incomplete with one slatwall missing. The packaging was very damaged and a few pieces needed to be bent back straight. I do like the Newage slat wall overall once you get past the common New Age shipping damage. A drawback is that the trim piece on the top isn't a great design as it has "magnets" but they are weak and you need to remove them to have it sit flush with the mounting screws. That same trim piece also makes it so you have one unusable row of slat wall which always seems to be the one I wish I had. Also the accessories mount easily, too easily so I have items that are under light load often falling off the wall. However the steel is nice, the powdercoating looks good, it's pretty stiff so if you have an overhang between stud and end of the board you're still all good. The load rating is good as well and these can be super functional.

Metal backsplash. I am disappointed in the dimples in the metal. The directions not so good. Ended up putting additional screws to hold it in place. Plus installed upside down. UGH!!! I have been very happy with the other garage and kitchen pieces i have purchased. Although not 100 percent happy it looks better than other products.

Backsplash Review. Nice Sturdy product. Very nice finish. Easy installation.Packaged Well. Instructions on magnetic strip could have been better. One of my cabinets was damaged, hopefully receive a new replacement soon. Time on phone to correct was lengthy. Overall satisfied with New Age Products.

Backsplash. Looks great. slightly damaged in shipping. easy to install.

Great Product. Better Directions Needed.. Great product. Shipped very nicely. My only complaint would be if the directions were a little clearer. I installed it upside down and had to redo the whole wall.

Backsplash. Super easy to install. Looks great and brings a totally complete finished look to the whole set up.

My findings. Some dents on the back corners, but does not effect’s the working doors. Easy to assemble.

Additional shelving is impossible to get!. The product is good however when I tried to order additional shelving for the lockers I was told to go directly to Lowes. When I did that I discovered that Lowes doesn't stock any of this product in store and doesn't have anyone online that can help.

Exactly what I wanted. Owned about a month. All went smoothly... purchase, delivery and install. Cabinet quality is want I expected, not pro grade, but perfect for my needs. Instructions were easy to follow and parts were blister packaged. Thinking about purchasing a couple of additional cabinets.

Assembly Directions a bit confusing. The back splash works great. Assembly directions for Pro series had one part confusing. Used bold series directions and it went together fine.

Happy with it but less "plug and play". I outfitted a new garage with a slew of New Age cabinets and goodies. Chose to line the space with this slatwall. I'm very happy with the end result. Very functional and looks good. That said, the slatwall isn't as "plug and play" as a lot of New Age stuff UNLESS you are buying the cabinets in a basic combination. Coming only in 2 sizes, there was no size that would perfectly fit any stretch of my cabinets. If you have a corner piece, then I don't think there's any combination that is going to fit the corner piece plus any adjacent cabinets. I mitred the edges of the slatwall at the corner rather than butt them up against one another. It ended up looking good. I also cut holes for outlets. Took some effort but it was well worth it. I also had a stretch where I had to line up 2 slatwalls next to each other on the same wall. Rather than butt them together to create one big seam I altered the pieces like subway tile. Ended up with the result, but again this took a chunk of time and effort. Also, if you don't end the slatwall next to a cabinet, then it's just the exposed end. There are these "mobile end covers" that are provided, but they're not tall enough to cover the entire height of the slatwall. I think the purpose of these end covers is if you're using it above mobile cabinets, but why wouldn't' these pieces cover the entire height of the slatwall? I just used two of them and laid them over one another, but it's not as polished of a final look. I see from the other non-backsplash slatwall set that they have end pieces, so I don't know why they don't provide them for the backsplash set. Like some people have said, a lot of the pieces arrived bent, but for me they were always bent in spots that wouldn't be visible after installation so I was able to simply straighten them with pliers and install them.

Well built and EASY to install!!. I bought the 9’piece garage cabinet set and am really glad I did. I added the slot wall for a great look and function. The quality of every component is terrific. If you follow the instructions and make sure the first cabinet is level and plumb then each and every hole lined across the cabinet installations. I have recommended the set to two of my friends and they have bought with similar comments. Good buy, great price, outstanding quality!

Good quality product. Excellent product - only reason it did not get 5 stars was slight damage in shipping. I was able to re-bend the metal so no issue with return. Otherwise easy to install and happy with the product.

Very Strong Unit. I’ve had this installed for about a month. Easy to install and very well built. Some pieces with minor bent mounting surfaces but were easily straightened. I feel it’s a little over priced but it looks great. Delivery time was excessive.

Needs improvement. Pros: Easy to install. Looks nice. Cons: Some of the interlocking edges bent/damaged as I un-boxed. I assume this happen during shipping and/or handling. Newage should re-think packaging. I had to use tools to bend edges back into place in order to install. The edge pieces provided for finished look (Pro Series) are not long enough to cover the entire edges. Edge pieces did not have any adhesive strip on them as the instructions say. I ended up not using edge pieces on my install due to these reasons.

Practical and strong. Bought this item 6 weeks ago as a second unit. Looks great, strong and practical.

Super high quality. I absolutely love the slat wall. It is of high quality and easy to install...even for a "non"-handyman like myself. My only suggestion would be to allow the customer to buy individual pieces so as to customize the height. I had to purchase two complete sets and will now be unfortunately be taking the large remnants to the landfill/recycling center. Also, the customer service os ok...but had a one hour wait time! I had to give up.

Nice Quality. Good quality product works well with the 9pc Pro System I purchased. Assembly instructions could be improved for sure and delivery was not communicated prior and neither was shipping information.

Slay wall for bikes. I bought this slat wall six weeks ago and finally received it at our home. Apparently the shipping company dropped the ball and forgot they had received it. We were supposed to receive our shipment 1 to 3 weeks however did not get it until the fifth or sixth week after ordering. So far the slat wall has been a disappointment. The clip hooks for the bikes continue to fall out every time we put the bikes on or take them off the wall.I am going to disassemble it and permanently Attach the hooks with a bolt into the stud of the wall.

Easy installation. Another add on to all my great Newage purchases although I do wish that the accessory hooks fit a little tighter (some come off when lifting of tools.)

Very Solid, Easy To Install-Highly recommend. I bought this along with a purchase that included a lot of cabinets and workbench area. The product is very solid...not flimsy plastic like some other companies I had researched. The directions were actually very easy to understand (no seriously they were). I was able to install the slatwall by myself and it looks great.

Looks Great. Looks awesome - far better than other brands. However the edge trim is not the same quality as it looks cheap & fell off after a couple of days. The tape on the edge trim is useless.

Fantastic Customer Service. Very happy with this product. Easy to install, looks great, and very functional. Original shipment was damaged while in transit. Customer service responded quickly to my claim and sent a replacement quickly. Hats off to New Age for a fantastic overall customer experience!

Great look. Great quality and looks fantastic. The only things I would change is add 1 more piece to make it just a bit taller (I used this kit on my walls as well as a backsplash) and have some adhesive on the side plates. But overall great product and easy install.

Outstanding backsplash. I received this item about 3-1/2 weeks ago. It was easy to install - looks great - and am waiting to order another one to finish of the 112 in. work surface. I'm guessing and hoping that they will butt up tightly in the center and match up to give a seamless look. A suggestion would be to offer a "T" shaped coupler to finish off the ends and or the center connections. Other than that they are perfect.

Excellent quality, attractive slatwall system. I bought these NewAge slatwall modules several weeks ago to finish off my garage update. I had been impressed with the quality of my NewAge cabinets that I had ordered previously, as well as NewAge’s customer support. They’re easy and flexible to install in a variety of configurations ranging from 2x4’ strips, 4x4’, or other combination. I chose to combine into an 8x12’ wall in my four car garage. Love the end result!

Excellent Quality. Just like their cabinets, the Slatwall is substantial, not thin and cheap. Quality is top-notch

Doesn't work. That slats where the panels come together are larger than the slats in the middle of the panel and standard slat wall hooks jus fall out of them. Also, the adhesive side on the magnetic strip is garbage and it just falls apart the second you take it out of the box. I had to super glue it to get it to work. Also it is not real diamond plate, but cheaply coated steel. Lastly the side pieces are not the same length as the system so they are useless and the sides are just unfinished now. I would have expected a lot more for what this costs.

Such a quality product. I love this system it makes my garage look so pro! This product is heavy duty and work like a champion. Thanks NewAge!!!

Great Product for Wall Storage. Being a premium product, i expected a lot from this...and it delivered. The installation is about as straight forward as you can get...find the studs (even if they arent 16 or 24 OC, get it level and screw it in. Really couldn't be simpler. Be mindful of that there is a piece that is designed to go on the bottom of the wall...which i did not realize until it was too late. Thought all if them were the same. There were a couple draw backs that were more aesthetic than functional, but at this price point, i think it bears mentioning. The top magnetic strip to cover the last row of screw holes is extremely weak. Would have rather them just added 3 super powerful magnets and be done with it. If that strip gets at all dirty, forget about it, wont stick. There was also one piece of slat that was a little bowed. Luckily when the weight of a shovel is applied it hugs the wall nicely so no one is the wiser...still worth mentioning though just in case you are using it for small tool storage. Overall though, good product that i would definitely recommend for any garage/workbench.

Excellent quality. I am constantly looking for ways to organize my garage this is a perfect way to do so ads many possibilities

Great quality slat wall. Unfortunately it is hard to find well built quality products but this exceeded my expectations. Steel is thick and heavy..not flimsy box store stuff. I hung it in my shop right next to my newage pro 3.0 cabinets ( which are also fantastic). Installation is straight forward and directions are great. I did have to trim mine to fit in the spot I wanted it but that wasn’t a problem. I put a metal blade on the skill saw and cut the ends off to fit. Looks fantastic...no complaints.

Easy installation!. We went with the 8'x8' configuration mostly due to our wall space. Bottom line is it was very easy to install, provided you find a stud for the first corner on the bottom. From there we were able to utilize the 16" spacing, allowing us to have both corners firmly in a stud, and then two in the middle. Once in, secured and level the rest was super easy! It took me a total of and hour with my son's help to hold the slats in place while I drilled pilot holes and then drove in the screws. Very nice looking for either a "manly" garage or a clean look. Highly recommended!

Looks Awesome. After receiving my slatwall kit, I unboxed and started the install right away. Goes up easy, just start the bottom level and screw into the wall with the supplied screws. Pieces stack on top of one another and I installed a 8' x 6' section in less than one hour. Heavy duty powdercoated pieces should last forever in my garage. Pieces of edging go on after the install for a professional look. Would definitely purchase from New Age again!

Solid Construction. As soon as you grab the package you know that this is a quality built product. They weight alone will tell you that it is designed so that there will never be a problem with the Slatwall holding up to whatever you decide to hang on it.

Very heavy duty.. Very nice heavy duty. Did have to re-spray glue the magnet back on the trip that covers the screws. No biggie though

The finishing touch for a workbench.. Installed my cabinets last month. They are first rate. Now I can find everything. The price is right and customer service is outstanding.
