Wall mounted shelving system by NewAge products. Very well made and very sturdy. Finding studs is another thing altogether, but that is not an issue with the shelf. Comes with ability to place in a brick wall but not to attach to the dry wall with Molly bolts. I guess you just can't get the 600 pound weight without it being in the stud. Anyway I would purchase again without hesitation. It is a very solid shelving system, attractive and awesome. .

Missing Parts for instillation. The shelves are great and should last outside for years to come; however not all parts arrived and I had to purchase nuts and bolts to complete instillation. I would recommend a better QA of required items to match what is in your instillation guide. I drove 30 mins both ways to a Home Deposit in Del Rio to buy the items missing. For a product that was probably $100 (for both the 2x4 shelf and the 2x8 shelf) more expensive than another product I was researching you should have ensured all pieces required are sent. The 2x8 shelf had no parts except the wire supports and the shelving itself which was later mailed to me.

Excellent product, baffling lack of nuts and bolts. This is a fantastic shelving system. Easy to install, easy to link multiple shelves, looks great. The thing that keeps this from being perfect is a baffling decision made to shortchange customers on the number of included carriage bolts and acorn nuts. The sets come with plenty of extra nuts, bolts, and screws, as you would expect… except for the carriage bolts and acorn nuts. You only get EXACTLY the number required to assemble a standalone shelf, not a single extra. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem but if you intend to link another unit to the one you just installed you’re gonna need more. As an example, I installed a 2x4 shelf and linked it to a 2x8 shelf. If you just install a 2x4 shelf by itself you need two carriage bolts and two acorn nuts, but if you want to link it to another shelf, you’ll need two more of each. On a 2x8 shelf, you also have to use these carriage bolts and acorn nuts to attach the two front perimeter beams. This meant I was short two of each, as can be seen in my photo. This is not an isolated incident since this is the SECOND set of 2x4 + 2x8 shelves I’ve installed. Don’t get me wrong, I still love these shelves, but Newage needs to stop skimping on these carriage bolts and acorn nuts. It’s bad enough to not supply extras in case you lose some, these shelves are designed to be linked together and you NEED additional nuts and bolts to do so.

Another Great New Age Product For Me. I really like this product. I have a lot of New Age storage in my shop and it never ceases to amaze me the quality of their products and their excellent customer service.

Space saver. Good quality and color for my project , great weight capacity too. It took longer than expected to install, a few more pieces than expected, but once the first got on made it easier for the rest.

Solid. Bought 4 of these shelves recently and they are solid. Wire shelves have lots of 2x4 holes, but a little plywood took care of that. Took me awhile to install them, but that's mostly because I'm OLD. Takes me 2 hours to do what I used to do in 20 Minutes Instructions manual was very clear.

Killer Garage Shelves! I NEVER review things. EVER. But these shelves... wow! We bought four 4x8 shelves in the garage to save space on our floor. We've loaded them with about 400-450lbs each. Nothing but great things to say here. Beautiful shelves! QUALITY: These things are solidly designed. They're powder coated (ours are white), and the finish is top-notch! The entire product is made from industrial-grade materials, and zero corners were cut. PRICING: Worth. Every. Penny. EASE OF INSTALLATION: The 4x8 shelves took about an hour for each install by myself. They weren't the easiest things to install simply due to size, but anyone who's generally handy can do this with basic garage tools, and it's well worth the time. The instructions provided are fantastic and showcase multiple installation types in straightforward writing. TOOLS REQUIRED: Like I said, most of the tools needed for install are in most garages. You'll need the following: - Pencil - Drill & Bits (most garages) - Ratchet & Wrenches (most garages) - Stud Finder (most garages) - 4ft standard bubble level (most garages) - Laser Level (highly recommended, but optional) INSTALLATION ADVICE: Use a laser level during installation. It'll make for a faster, easier, and more exact install. Plus, everything will be cleaner and more precise when you're done. I recommend stacking 100-150lbs of stuff onto a shelf before its final leveling, though. The weight added helps achieve a better level when more weight is added. You can also use a standard level to level out the shelves, however, a laser level will be considerably more accurate, especially if more than one of your shelves are being installed at uniform heights like ours. OVERALL: You're not going to find a more professionally designed shelving product for your garage. These shelves are second-to-none in craftsmanship, material quality, aesthetics, and dollar/pound storage rating in their class. DISCLAIMER: This should go without saying, but they MUST BE INSTALLED USING STUDS. They cannot be screwed into drywall. DO NOT INSTALL IN JUST DRYWALL. You will destroy a car or hurt yourself/others. STUDS... In case you're wondering, no, NewAge did not solicit this review. The shelves are just that good.

Very well built. Could use a couple tweaks. I purchased and installed about a month ago. Very fast shipping and the price here was almost half of what they are at Home Depot. These are very well built and sturdy shelves. They look great and installation instructions were some of the best I've ever experienced. What I would recommend for installation: Measure all of the cords before hanging. I purchase 4 shelves and installed all before I realized that some cords are shorter / longer which makes the shelve sag in some arears (where the cord is too long). After pulling all of the cords out, I found variations in a few - but most were identical. Two of the cords were about a centimeter too long. Instead of making a new cord, I found a shorter clamp at Lowes that did the trick. What I would recommend to the manufacturer: Included adjustable clamps to allow for fine tuning the cord length. This solves the cord length issue and the user issue when installation measurements are not exact. Final note to installer: Measure, measure, measure and get a very good stud finder. Then measure, measure, measure, triple check the stud finder before drilling. Also note: Due to stud placement near corners, you probably wont be able to install these in you garage symmetrically - or use the corner shelf kit. I had to customize one shelf for corner installation.

Does not match. In general I like this product line of shelves. I had previously installed a couple of the 2 x 8 shelf units and then decided to add a 2 x 4 unit inline with one of the 2 x 8’s. I was disappointed to find that on the 2 x 4 unit the front rail has 1/2” holes all the way across it.So all around my garage I have this nice solid white rail line until this 4’ piece that is full of holes- it makes no sense at all.

Amazing Product. I bought my set of shelves to “test” the product and let me tell you....amazing. From the professional packaging, quality, and installation - they got it going on. And it looks way cool too! Now I’m getting it all, more shelves and garage cabinets, etc... If you’re in the market to beef up your garage and make it look professionalistic (yes, my word-patent pending) look no further.

Great Wall shelves and other products! Bought the 2 x 8 and a few 2 x 4 shelves. Took some time to hang and understand the different ways it could mount but eventually understood taking my time. Ceiling mount only works in limited situations. Wall mount works most of the time depending on height. Love all my newage products and these helped add storage above my cabinets so I didn’t have to put material on top of the acutual cabinets.

Perfect for my stero equipment. I bought white, but after the shelf was installed & I put my stero equipment on it I realized I should have bought black. Luckily, my brother made a cover for the front & both sides. I am very happy with my purchase.

All around excellent. Got here fast. Good instructions. Easy to install. Very high quality and very sturdy. Did a couple chin ups on it to test...held strong.

Sturdy and well made. Was tricky at first to understand how the brackets attached to the wall, but once that was figured out, it went up pretty easy.

Exemplary product, packaging, and function! I was excited to try this product to solve a unique storage need, above double doors in my shop. It was wasted space and I wanted to have something that aesthetically still looked pleasing, while being heavy duty, and complimented my recent installation fo NewAge cabinets. These took about 15 minutes to assemble each, then another 30 minutes to install. Instructions are good. Follow each step and in less than a couple hours, you’ll have a new storage space!

High Quality Product. I've purchased several products from the Pro Series line for my new wood shop because of the quality of the products they offer and the exceptional customer service they provide. The 2' x 4' wall mounted shelf is a great addition to my shop. The construction of the shelving unit is similar to the Pro Series cabinets in looks and quality. The shelving unit can be stacked vertically or assembled together depending on your space. I installed the shelving unit myself but it would be easier with a friend as the shelving unit is on the heavy side. I plan on installing additional shelving units as I expand my shop.

Great quality, but plan smartly. First, these aren't your typical household shelves you'd get from the local retail outlet. These are substantial shelves designed to hold a significant amount of weight (though perfectly capable of smaller items). I say that because you don't just slap them up in the same way you would a typical shelving system. You mount the back brace to the wall with large lag screws designed to hold significant weight. A tornado could hit my home, and I'm pretty sure these shelves would stand, even if the rest of the garage was gone. It also means that when you pick a spot, that's where they'll stay. Because they are mounted, installing them takes a little more care and time than most shelves. You'll need a good stud finder. And, if you have odd spacing between the studs for whatever reason, mounting could be a problem or create unique challenges. I learned this because one of my studs was just a tick off and I ended up making an additional hole into the wall. So I'd consider using a small drill (smaller than recommended for pilot holes) just to check to make sure you hit the stud squarely. If you miss, then it's just a small hole that gets covered anyway. Keep in mind that my issues may have been unique to my garage. Once you get the back brace mounted, the rest of it goes up quick. They look great when they are there, and they go well with other NewAge cabinets to create a uniform look.

Great Design. When the rack system arrived, I was impressed on how well everything was packaged. Everything was strapped and secured very professionally. The instructions were easy to follow, and installation was well thought out. There's a lot of flexibility in how it can be installed, and it I was extremely impressed with how strong the racks were. Excellent value for the money

Easy install, great product. I waited to test the product out before writing this review. First off, let’s talk about the packaging. It was packed in a nice sturdy box with corner supports all around. For heavy metal parts, the box was delivered in perfect condition with no cuts, dents, or damage of any kind. Inside the box, all the parts are wrapped nicely. They are all tucked in to reduce overall box size, wrapped up to prevent scratching, and directions sitting right on top. The directions are well written, easy to follow, and explain the multiple hanging options for the shelves. Now on to the shelves. The coating on the shelves is nice and gives a very industrial clean look to the parts. All the cut locations and connections are clean with no spurs or metal chunks hanging off of them. The outer frame is very easy to install and assemble. The actual rack inserts and supports just drop right in. I loaded the shelves up with some heavy boxes, a cooler full of water bottles, and some other heavy storage bins. Then pulled on the shelf, pushed on it, attempted to wiggle it etc. no movement. The cables provided to hang the front portion of the shelf are very strong and seem to have more than enough to support the rated weight. The bolts supplied are also long enough and thick enough that I have 0 concern of them pulling out of the studs. Overall I would highly recommend these shelves and am looking to possibly pick up another set to go above the current set.
