A great tool but you have to get creative to get it to work. I'm tired of buying low quality synchronizer that stopped working after a few months and after looking around I decided that the Reliable brand synchronizer is what I needed.
The build quality is great, with the other low cost stuff the housing feels cheap and they get cracked easily. The Reliable one feels robust and feel like it can take a beating.
Mounting the thing is the tricky part, unfortunately every machine is different and you just have to use the parts provided and get creative with them. I ended up using the metal bar provided and after some twisting and bending I managed to got it to work.
The synchronizer uses the standardized four pins plug and it will work on any brushless servo that support synchronizers.
Overall I'm happy with the purchase.

Fits Juki 1541 Perfectly. I haven't had a chance to use this other than to test it, so can't speak to longevity. I did want to post a review to let others know that it fits my brand new Juki DNU-1541 perfectly. It's hard to tell from the item description, but it does come with 3 different brackets to attach to various different machines, I used the plastic one which attaches to the table top and it was a perfect fit. See the attached picture.

Needle positioning. The positioning feature it’s very helpful in a busy shop.

Works exactly as I hoped and expected! I have little to say about the synchro other than it works great! One thing to keep in mind if your machine isn't a Reliable or if you don't have a pro install it for you. I have a Juki LU-1508 and I had to ruminate on how best to install the synchro on it. I didn't want to drill/tap the head unit or install a flimsy metal bracket around the belt shroud and I was very picky with the synchro's orientation as I do a lot of hand-cranking. But after fiddling around in my parts bin for a day (and letting go of my belt shroud altogether), the installation is tidy and really, really solid!

Needle Position - My Choice. I love setting the needle position down and then tapping with my heel for the needle to rise or using the hand wheel to raise the needle.
The bracket/s that support the positioner, but don't snap into the positioner need some modification depending on the machine you are attaching it to. Just think creatively.
We love the combination: quiet motor and positioner.

Love it! How nice not to constantly have to reposition the needle. What a joy to use.

Must have. So the servo has enough power to sew at low speeds. The variable speed function does ok but would be nice to use the full swing of the pedal. Let me explain. If you set the top speed for 1000 rpm you will reach top speed before pedal has reached half travel. Speed setting only limits the max speed pedal movement is the same so if you need max 400 rpm for leather you will only be able to move the pedal just a little to reach 400rpm leaving the rest of the travel useless and it is no simple treat to change the rpm all the time. The sensor can be hard to set. I had a hard time setting the stop point and had to adjust the sensor manually because it would not set by the book. Install was easy and simple. Sensor has hardware as well. You will want to use you original power switch to turn it off because it will be under and in the back of the table. I installed this on to a Consew 206-RB5

Wish I Could. I was unable to install the synchronizer on my Pfaff. The shanks were mismatched. I had no difficulty returning the item. So on the whole the experience was disappointing but not because of service. I would however recommend a list of machines this item won't work on. It would have saved me some time, effort and return postage fees. Thanks Reliable.

Sewquiet 6000 with Needle Synchronizer. I now have 4 of these in service and love the power and versatility of these motors!

Time saver. Having my old industrial converted to needle stop up or down is a real timesaver. This device worked perfectly on my Consew csm1000. Installation was only minutes.
