If you have small birds... I was excited to get this roaster, but disapointed to find it will possibly hold a turkey, but only if it is a baby turkey. I think I tried a 16 lb bird, and it was just a silly waste of time. I ended up tossing this to the side, and using a rib rack Chargriller also sells. it worked wonderfully.

Will be buying as gofts. Love love love. Love the way it keeps the turkey open to cook through. Love the way it holds the 17 pound turkeys

Good to have as part of your gear. I don't feel like it works as good as a vertical stand,but this is only after one cook. After a few more tries we will make a definite decision.

no. I had difficulty loading the turkey onto the roaster without spilling the contents in the can that is supposed to be inside the bird. But I was doing it alone. Perhaps with the help of a 2nd person holding the roaster while the other person holding the turkey will be able with less offer to load the turkey onto the roaster. I had 11 lb turkey, so I am wondering of it's possible to get a say 20 lb turkey onto the holder? I used a drip pan to catch the liquid as it cooked. I'd say - with practice and help it could work out well.

We will never deep fry a turkey again! We smoked a turkey for Thanksgiving. It worked like a charm!

Worked fantastic! I used this last night for the first time. Worked great. I did a large chicken on it. The most moist chicken I have ever had. I used a recipe that Char-griller had recommended, also great.

Need more grill room. I haven't used it for a Turkey yet, but I works good with chicken too
