An Amantii smart WiFi fireplace lets you run the flames, ember lighting, heat and timer from your phone. What the app does depends on the series, and setup has quirks worth knowing before you order: pairing runs through a Tuya app, the network must be 2.4 GHz, and older “Smart” models have fewer app controls than the current Lumina line. Here is what each series offers, how pairing works according to Amantii’s own guides, and where the limits are.

Two caveats. First, Amantii’s Symmetry Xtra Slim Smart page now says that model has been discontinued. Our 42 in Symmetry XtraSlim Smart listing is still live, so call us to confirm stock before you order. Second, Amantii’s WM-FM-BG wall mount page lists a “WiFi App”, but our WM-FM listings do not mention app control, so ask us to confirm the exact model if the app matters to you. Our Symmetry Basic listings do not mention WiFi at all.
What the Amantii smart WiFi fireplace app controls
Amantii’s Mobile App Guide shows a main screen with power, temperature, sound, heat, timer, flame, ember tray and canopy lighting controls.
- Flame: turn the flames on or off, pick yellow, red or orange, cycle through colors automatically, and set brightness. Flame speed runs from 4.0 to 12.0 r/min in the app.
- Ember bed: on or off, color, auto cycle and brightness.
- Canopy lighting: on or off, color, cycle and brightness, on models that have overhead canopy lights.
- Heat: on or off, a set temperature, and Auto, High or Low. Auto adjusts heat based on room temperature. Heat off keeps the flames running for summer use.
- Timer: schedule the fireplace to turn on or off on a set date or at a set time.
- Sound: toggle the crackle sound on models with speakers.
- Multiple units: manage more than one Amantii fireplace in one app and share access with family.
Amantii’s Bespoke WiFi instructions also show a status code in the app: 0 is normal, while 1 (overheating), 2 (temperature sensor fault) and 3 (heater not working) mean you should call after-sales service.
Symmetry Lumina vs older Smart models
Amantii’s Symmetry Lumina page says the Lumina moved to a newer app with brightness, flame color, flame speed, heat and tray color settings, and notes those functions were not available on the earlier Smart series. If you are weighing an older Smart unit against a 42 in Symmetry Lumina, the app is a real difference.
Amantii app setup, step by step
The Lumina manual says to connect with the “TuyaSmart APP”, and the Mobile App Guide says to search the App Store or Google Play for “Tuya Smart” or “Smart Life”. The sequence from those guides:
- Install the app and register an account. You can use it as a guest, but the guide says guest mode only works on the same local network, with no remote access, automation or device sharing.
- Create a “family” (your home) and choose the room the fireplace is in.
- Power on the fireplace. Press and hold the Flame button on the control panel for about 6 seconds until the Timer light blinks rapidly. That is pairing mode.
- In the app, tap Add Device and choose Small Home Appliances, then Heater.
- Select your WiFi network and enter the password. The guide says the network must be 2.4 GHz, since most smart devices do not support 5 GHz.
- Wait about a minute for the connection, confirm, and rename the unit (for example “Living Room Fireplace”).
Keep your phone’s WiFi and location services on and stand close to the fireplace. To exit pairing mode, press any button except Timer.
If pairing fails
Check the guide’s requirements: a 2.4 GHz network (not 5 GHz only), location services on, the phone near the unit, the fireplace’s power switch on, and the Timer light blinking fast before you search.
Amantii Symmetry XtraSlim and other slim smart units
The slim units are the lowest priced app models on our site. The 26 in Traditional XtraSlim Smart and 30 in Traditional XtraSlim Smart mount on or recess into a 2 x 4 wall, offer yellow, orange and red flames with 5 settings each, and 11 ember bed colors, per our listings and Amantii’s TRD Xtraslim page. Limitations to know before you buy
- 2.4 GHz only. No 5 GHz support, per Amantii’s guide.
- Voice assistants are not confirmed. The guide says linking a Tuya account to Alexa or Google Assistant requires registration, but Amantii does not list specific voice commands for its fireplaces. Treat voice control as untested until you try it.
- App features vary by series. Bespoke lists flame height and sound; Lumina lists brightness and tray color. Check the series before you assume a control exists.
- The remote still matters. Lumina and Bespoke include a thermostatic remote, and Lumina has a touch panel whose timer runs 30 minutes to 8 hours. Bespoke adds a 7-day preset schedule, per Amantii’s Bespoke page.
- Bluetooth is for audio. Amantii’s Bespoke page links a Bluetooth speaker pairing guide, and our Extra Tall Bespoke listings mention audio streaming through the built-in speakers. Frequently asked questions
What app does an Amantii smart WiFi fireplace use?
Amantii’s manual and app guide point to the Tuya Smart app, and the guide says the Tuya-powered Smart Life app also works. Once paired, the fireplace opens an Amantii control screen inside the app.
Does Amantii app setup work on 5 GHz WiFi?
No. Amantii’s Mobile App Guide says the network must be 2.4 GHz. If your router combines bands, set up a separate 2.4 GHz network name for pairing.
Is the Amantii Symmetry XtraSlim still available?
Amantii’s product page says the Symmetry Xtra Slim has been discontinued and points to a Fire and Ice replacement. We still list a 42 in unit; call us to confirm stock. The Traditional XtraSlim Smart in 26, 30 and 33 in is a current slim option with WiFi.
Can I control the heat from the app?
Yes, on the Lumina and other app models covered in Amantii’s guide: heat on or off, a set temperature, and Auto, High or Low. The Lumina’s thermostat range is 59 to 82 F.
Does the Amantii app work with Alexa or Google Home?
Amantii’s guide only says linking a Tuya account to Alexa or Google Assistant requires registration. It does not confirm voice controls for the fireplace, so do not buy one for voice control alone.
