NewAge Bold – 48″ x 22.75″ Backsplash Kit – Silver

Slat wall. I really like it. I wish there was a way to secure the hooks every time I remove a tool it pops off. But it looks great and I’m hanging a bunch of stuff on there.

Excellent stuff, all worked as planned. Product was great, little issue with damage delivery. But company stood behind that.

Poor packaging, damaged delivery. Need to better package product

great add. dresses up and make the back wall functional space with other accessories

A Plus Products. I bought these to match another set I had from New Age. Love the look and durability of your products, as well as any customer service if needed. Product is a little on the expensive side but overall, you get what you pay for.

48” Metal Slat Wall. i ordered this slat wall because it is 48” wide. i like it, but honestly I may like the PVC slat wall better. I wish you had PVC slat walls in more widths

Wrong item sent. The wrong size and wrong color was sent. The process to resolve the problem took several days and was very poor.

Unclear instructions. Backsplash lacked instructions. I think I figured it out?

No Value. Very expensive with little value attached to it, especially when it comes damaged and it is very difficult to get resolution. Ultimately installed it damaged.

Good look to accompany a cabinet set. The backsplash looks great with the 9-piece Bold Series Set. It’s metal and very sturdy. I had to cut for two outlets and the thick metal made it tricky but I’m glad that it’s study.

Richard Woods. Love my gray back splash to hang several tools upon for anytime use

Figs Backsplash. Product is of top quality and ordering process/shipping great. Assembly instructions need to be improved. Confusing 🫤

Sturdy. Easy to install and study. One minor complaint that I have with it is that the top decorative plate. It attaches with a magnetic strip that's not strong enough. Additionally, the adhesives on the magnetic strip are failing. I ended up replacing it with a double sided tape.

Organization and space. I installed several panels of NewAge (NA) Backsplash panels along with several free floating NA shelving units in my garage. The panels were extremely easy to install and the hanging kits worked great for tools, jackets, shoes, hardware and many other things. I finally have the organized garage I've been wanting and the amount of floor space opened up makes my garage feel 20% larger.

Was a bit disappointed. This slatwall backsplash was a little disappointing compared to my other NewAge purchases. The pieces ar3e metal and cannot be cut to size easily. The finish is slightly different from the PVC slatwall so it doesn't match. There is a magnetic top piece that looks good but renders the top slat of the backsplash useless because it doesn't hold hooks. Also, the backsplash doesn't hold the accessory hooks as tightly as they hold on the PVC slatwall.

Backsplash heaven. Super easy toinstall and very well made. Works flawlessly!

Covers all the bases! Top quality, super easy install, looks great with overhead and flanked cabinets.

Really nice piece! Much nicer than anticipated. Pictures don't do it justice online.

Good, but doesn't need to be steel to do the job. It's a nice backsplash kit. Not exactly sure why it needed to be steel though. For something in such a small space, it's not like you're going to put something super heavy on it. I have other slat walls from other companies on my main garage walls that are made out of PVC that do the same job. I gave it four stars because while it is nice I just don't think it needs to be steel or something in such a small space. Only reason I bought this one was because it went with the storage set up that I had bought . Plus it makes it hard if you need to get around an outlet. If you don't want to make the outlet covered, you have to cut into the steel which avoids the warranty. I ended up doing it, and it was a lot more work than it really needed to be.

very nice. very easy to install. would like to see some way to help secure hooks to where they would not move

Great Product. Easy to install, sturdy. My only complaint is due to shipping damage. Both boxes had multiple pieces that had bent corners. Had to bend them back and make them flat in order to install. Not a NewAge issue or defect, likely the shipping company.

Damaged. Product arrived damaged. Did not discover until taken out of box

Leaves permanent fingerprints and hand prints. The backsplash leaves permanent finger prints if not cleaned immediately. I have never had issues with any powdered coated finish doing this and for an item that is meant to be outside in garage I would expect better quality. I regret my purchase. I have the matching storage cabinets with the same issue. I have tried WD40, Dawn Soap, polish, Windex , Vinegar and the dark smears remain everywhere.

Backsplash for Bold series cabinets. Looks nice but most of the corners were bent when it came to me so had to bend them back in place Because I really did not want to send them back..

Great Product + Easy to Install. great product and very easy to install. Product was well packed and came with all accessories. Appreciated the extra hardware included with the shipment.

Could be better. I think the slat wall is definitely sturdy, I am disappointed with the way the attachments fit into the wall. There is no way to keep them from falling out. Wish they would stick in better. Personally, I would go with "wall control" if I could do it again.

Mary. Good size, good quality. Easy to install. Keeps hardware off floor

Metal backsplash. I am disappointed in the dimples in the metal. The directions not so good. Ended up putting additional screws to hold it in place. Plus installed upside down. UGH!!! I have been very happy with the other garage and kitchen pieces i have purchased. Although not 100 percent happy it looks better than other products.

awesome garage storage. Great storage, looks great. custoer service was awesome to work with/

Backsplash Review. Nice Sturdy product. Very nice finish. Easy installation.Packaged Well. Instructions on magnetic strip could have been better. One of my cabinets was damaged, hopefully receive a new replacement soon. Time on phone to correct was lengthy. Overall satisfied with New Age Products.

Great Product. Better Directions Needed. Great product. Shipped very nicely. My only complaint would be if the directions were a little clearer. I installed it upside down and had to redo the whole wall.

Durable and nice to look at. I love the quality and durability of this backsplash. It adds to the aesthetics as well as being functional.

Slatwall and complete Bold Series install. It is easier than you expect to install. Simple directions to follow and my wife and I were able to handle it with no problem.

My findings. Some dents on the back corners, but does not effect’s the working doors. Easy to assemble.

heavy duty. I love this. It arrived damaged but was easy to straighten out the corners where the were bent. The edges dont show anyeway so it didnt matter. very nice, heavy duty slat wall

Additional shelving is impossible to get! The product is good however when I tried to order additional shelving for the lockers I was told to go directly to Lowes. When I did that I discovered that Lowes doesn't stock any of this product in store and doesn't have anyone online that can help.

Great Backsplash but Slightly Damaged. The silver backsplash I ordered came quickly with no hassles. Unfortunately, 3 of the panels had the corners bent inward somehow. It was easy to straighten the bends and so the product was still easy to put up on my garage wall. Nevertheless, the product damage (though slight) shouldn't have happened at all. Glad I was able to "undue" the damage without much effort.

Exactly what I wanted. Owned about a month. All went smoothly... purchase, delivery and install. Cabinet quality is want I expected, not pro grade, but perfect for my needs. Instructions were easy to follow and parts were blister packaged. Thinking about purchasing a couple of additional cabinets.

Tools handle for quick use. The backsplash is just right to finish the cabinet over all arrangement. Used a metal cutting saw to allow use of out let behind the placement.

Love it. I did my whole garage with NEWAGE products, love it.

Well built and EASY to install!! I bought the 9’piece garage cabinet set and am really glad I did. I added the slot wall for a great look and function. The quality of every component is terrific. If you follow the instructions and make sure the first cabinet is level and plumb then each and every hole lined across the cabinet installations. I have recommended the set to two of my friends and they have bought with similar comments. Good buy, great price, outstanding quality!

Good quality product. Excellent product - only reason it did not get 5 stars was slight damage in shipping. I was able to re-bend the metal so no issue with return. Otherwise easy to install and happy with the product.

Awesome!!! Looks great! easy to install! There are many accessory options to customize the wall as well

Great Finishing Touch. I purchased this to finish off my 8 piece cabinet set and it looks awesome and is very functional as well. Highly recommend for the convenience of storing high usage tools for quick access and giving your garage work area a nice finishing touch. It is very heavy duty - will hold anything you put on it.

Great fit & finish. Added this to my cabinet workbench set, everything fit perfect.

Stylish design & easy to install! So far everything I’ve purchased from New Age has been awesome. Great design, beautiful and easy to install. This kit was also an exact fit with the only cutting being an outlet that I installed. My garage is looking so good as well as organized. I definitely recommend New Age!

Nice Slatwall But...... This is a solid product. My issue with it is that it comes with 4 slatwall sections but only 3 of sections you can hang your accessoires to. The 4th bottom section is useless because nothing can be hung from it. I notice on the PRO Series slatwall they have fixed this issue where you WILL be able to hang your accessories from all 4 slatwall sections. I wish I would have bought the PRO series instead because of this.

Took some time but worth it. It was pretty easy to install. However I had a problem that my power outlet would be covered by the backsplash. I had to cut two of the slats to allow for a space for the outlet. It would be a nice feature if and outlet was built in the backsplash so with a cord to go to the wall outlet. I wish that the hook system was a little tighter so they would slide as much. Looks really nice when done.

Easy to Install. I added this to my setup of cabinets. It was easy to install and looked very good upon completion.

All metal slats, overlapping, mounted on drywall, fit perfectly in New Age cabinet opening approx. 6' wide x 2' tall. Screws directly into studs, with overlapping courses hiding screws. We used a grinder to cut openings for receptacles. Top row is adjustable height for flexibility in filling opening.

Perfect fit, but not exactly shipshape... I received the backsplash via UPS a few days after receiving the cabinets in my order. About half the panels were bent in shipping, I took pictures and was going to request replacements but decided to simply bend the corners back into place. The repairs were easy and did not affect the installation. The New Age products are so superior in their construction and design in my opinion even a bent panel that you repair yourself is better than the competition!

Mixed Review. Pros: 1. Sturdy- nice material 2. Easy install- 1 person 3. Looks nice Cons: 1. All the pieces were bent (on the corner) without indication from the box. 2. The thin Finishing Edge does not stay in place with the magnet strip. 3. The whole order was original paused bc this piece was on back order.

It works. It does the job. I use it for craft supplies in the basement. It’s flimsy metal. I was told I’d get a coupon a month later for a future purchase which I never got.

Great Way to Organize. I inherited my dads tools when he passed. This was fantastic in helping organize everything!

Cabinets. Look great and easy to install color is great size fits all that I needed

Great company. I purchased alot of the garage cabinets. The set up is fabulous. The quality of the workmanship is great alone with the service of all employees. This company stands behind their workmanship. I highly recommend them for any of the products they sell. I promise you thst anyone will be happy with the workmanship and sevice they receive.

Well built and looks great! We decided to get our garage floors done. In doing so we also wanted, and needed storage space for tools, equipment and misc. items. I purchased New Age at Lowe’s and had them delivered. My wife and I installed them in the afternoon. Turn out great!

great product, service and price. just finished our custom house...but was not impressed with the subs that our contractor brought in to do the garage...ordered these online instead and they look great...sturdy and all metal construction as we did not want faux materials in our home. My only suggestion is that New Age should offer more slatwall accessories instead of a few standard combos...but there are sites where I was able to get these.

Great Finishing Touch. Installed the back-splash to my custom installation and it looks great! Just keep in mind that you'll have to cut around plugs. Did it with a 2" grinding disc and it worked out great.

Very nice slat wall. I have 2 of those slatwalls . One inside my cabinets and one outside. The one inside the cabinet looks great but the one outside is not 100% usable because the upper part does not support the hooks. But over all it is very nice.

Misleading website. I bought 3 48 inch cabinets and thought the units would be as shown on the website-partially assembled with the doors and shelves to be put into place like the video shows. However much to my disappointment the entire unit was shipped flat packed requiring complete assent. It took me several hours to assemble the first unit. Not a happy camper. FIX YOUR WEBSITE

The best slatwall on the market. I made my research trying to find a perfect backsplash wall for my small work area in my garage. There are many options in the market but some are to expensive and others are to weak. I selected this NewAge Slatwall and I am very happy. It is heavy duty and the price is affordable.

Superb quality. I am delighted I added the slatwall to my New Age cabinets. The slatwall is very well made with the coated metal and quite easy to install. If you need to cut it for any reason it will require several jig saw blades. The accessories are great especially the magnetic bar. I bought two so I have many of my tools attached to the magnetic bar and the rest hanging on the handy hangers. You won’t regret adding this product or even using it by itself.

Hmm... wish I hadn't. They don't sell the hooks for this. I installed it and then couldn't find hooks for it. Nothing on the Newage site that I could see... Also, we couldn't use it as a backsplash as shown in the photos because it doesn't run the length of the wall cabinets! Kind of crazy!!!

Looks great and incredibly easy to install. Really pleased with the quality (no surprise with a NewAge product!) and ease-of-install with this slatwall backsplash. You literally mark your studs, drill your guide holes, and screw it in. Took me 30 minutes if that. The 48" Bold series was the perfect fit for my space so I could leave a wall outlet uncovered. I wasn't sure how I would like the finish with my black Pro series cabinets, but I think it looks really sharp. I will probably end up buying more to finish my work space out, and I actually have room to add an extra row at the top to fill up my wall space under the upper cabinets. Still need to get the accessory kit to actually take advantage of the storage possibilities, but just the slatwall alone really elevates the look of my space and gives it a more finished feel. Couldn't be happier!!

Nice finish, easy to install and very strong! This is the best slatwall backsplash product on the market that I have found for my garage cabinets. I was in the market for a functioning backsplash that I could hang tools on the wall to go with my NewAge garage cabinets. I was having a hard time finding one that I like. The wood option doesn’t hold up to heavier tools and tends to pull out. It would have also added more installation time since I would have to paint the wood options that I found to match the wall color. The fit and finish is amazing, very durable. The installation is supper easy, there are predrilled holes that run the full length of the top of the backsplash that allows you to hit a stud every time without having to drill additional holes in the metal backsplash. Each backsplash piece covers up the place where the screws mount the panels to the wall so all the screws are hidden which is a nice touch. They very top of the backsplash is magnetic so no screws are required and this hides the screws on the last panel. I have had this product for a month now and was really happy with the way it turned out and how it functions. All my

Heavy duty slatwall. Impressed with the durability of this slatwall material. Can hold significant weight and is easy to install. Solid product.

looks great with my NewAge garage cabinets. I received my Bold 3.0 series Slatwall Backsplash last week. I was anxious to install it in my garage with my NewAge garage cabinets. It was easy to install... make sure the bottom slat is level and at correct height above the base cabinet. Once the bottom slat is secured to the wall studs, the other three slats go up easily! It took me about 45 minutes to install the unit and it looks great. I would recommend this Slatwall to anyone looking for a hanging slawall to store tools etc. I've seen the competition Slatwall units at Home Depot, and there is no comparison.

Looks very nice. Very good quality and looks very nice great for garage

Very sturdy and Durable! I like the slat wall vs pegboard because you can adjust your brackets and pegs to whatever dimensions you want! Durability is awesome! Highly recommend the slatwalls with the New Age cabinets!!

Nice looking and easy to install! Received the backsplash and took about 30 minutes to install. The backsplash arrived in great shape, instructions were clear, and installation was a snap. Looks great, the only problem I had was that I was unable to install the entire backsplash due to an electrical outlet. Otherwise, it looks great and will help keep the workspace organized!

Great Style High Quality Material. I installed the Bold 3.0 and Performance 2.0 series slatwall backsplash to complement my NewAge cabinets. This product comes well packaged and arrived free from shipping damage. The thickness of the steel gauge was a welcome surprise as this is made from incredibly strong material. Installation was a breeze with the included hardware and instructions. The quality of this system will satisfy the most demanding people. A cool feature is how the fasteners are hidden even for the top row. My wife even complimented how nice the finish of the backsplash is and how much better my work space looks!

Feels great and well constructed. I received my slatwall backsplash last week and was initially wowed at the weight of the box. The metal construction and finish is excellent. My 3" hooks for my previous slat wall worked and most of my garden tools are now out of the corner of the garage. Now I need to purchase another one to get the rest of my garden tools off the floor. Excellent choice I made.

Easy install. This item matches perfectly with our garage cabinets. The install time took 30 mins. Very easy instructions. Slatwall pieces easy to find and install.

Great look to add to the already awesome system! The backsplash I received was amazingly simple to install- took about 5 minutes. Adds a great look to my storage system, and more functionality as well! Can’t wait to purchase accessories for the new mounting system
