Broil King Baron™ 320 PRO 3-Burner Gas Grill

Broil King Baron 440 forever! Well I’ve had a Baron 440 for a few years now and it’s amazing. I will always go with Broil King. Mine has lots of life left but may retire it to a friend, and when it’s time I’ll be eyeing up one of these new beauties.

Winner. Purchased this grill last fall , 100 % recommend it , moved on from a napoleon and won't look back. Great heat, looks, craftsmanship.

Horrible QC. Bought the grill for memorial day weekend, began to out it together friday and had multiple issues. The wiring diagram in the manual is not for module I received, so i contemplated just randomly connecting things. I received two left sided shelves. I also received an incorrectly manufactured right side door. I contacted customer service whom I will say was somewhat speedy in replying at first; however, i never got any accurate eta. Well the parts just got here today and i have to take a door off the other wrong shelve and instal it onto the new one ( why they didn’t send me one is beyond me) and the door I received is the wrong side. I mean i provided multiple written emails with pictures and I still got delivered the incorrect door. BBQ guys weren’t involved much because i guess the manufacturer wants to handle the issues so I will give two stars for them being speedily on replying. I spent a good amount of money on this grill for me just to go buy another one memorial day weekend for $150 bucks and have it fire up with no issues. Regret the purchase but don’t want to go through the hassle of trying to return this at this point

Less than a year old and falling apart. I bought this grill less than one year ago. And was cleaned and stored in my garage for seven months. The sparker for ignition to all burners has failed . I tried three new batteries just incase the batteries were bad from the store, there is access to the major spark controller but each spark club looks like more work. This unit is not easy access with a match. Model # 8762-44. Serial # N-301725.

Ticking time bomb. Terrible grill. Flames blowing out all over. Knobs melted off. Almost died. I want money back asap

Renewal. After 9 years of use, I have replaced all of the internal parts. I think 9 years for any BBQ is excellent value. The only change I have made is to switch from castiron grates to stainless steel grates as they are much easier to maintain.

Baron Grill after 7 years. Bought my Baron Grill from HHGregg in 2017, I have had the Grill outside with a cover and it works like a dream, the only thing that scratch of was the gas knobs lettering or black dial to let you know to put low and high, the cast iron grates are in very good condition, even the Ignition works

Very disappointed. Purchased from Lowes several years ago. After 1 year all 5 burners and the collector box had corroded to near dust. Thinking i may have left it out in the rain a time or two i went ahead and bought 5 new burners, the collector box and misc. stainless hardware as the burner screws had also rusted to the point of breaking off. This time, i was extremely diligent to always put the cover on, clean and maintain everything well beyond what anyone would hope is required for a BBQ. Nevertheless, after maybe 2 years this time, the same result. 5 extremely corroded burners and collector box. Wont be replacing them this time around, currently in the market for a new grill. Very disappointed in the quality.

Love my Broil King. Bought this BBQ 3 years ago, Works remarkably well as all my Broil Kings have in the past, only issue was igniter button failed and new one sent under warranty as the 15 year warranty was still in effect. The rear rotisserie burner works awesome, Rotisseried chicken and turkeys on it. Even cooking on all the grill service with no real hotspots. Can’t say enough as my bbq season is 12 months a year.

Disappointed 😞. I've always had Broil King bbqs. My last two were Broil Kings and they were fantastic. I bought this one in 2019 and it is very disappointing. This bbq never gets hot enough to sear a steak. That's with the burners cranked and the temp needle buried. Also the heat distribution is very uneven. Trying to figure out why and leaning towards either lid design or manufacturing materials in general. Possibly both.

Great quality purchase! Received as a wedding gift in 2000, 24 years later and it still works great. The newer ones are much nicer looking, maybe I’ll get one for our 25th anniversary.

what a mistake of a purchase. Purchased the baron 590 natural gas bbq as a wedding present and ever since, it has just been a complete disaster. during assembly the bbq was missing screws, the shelf does not properly sit on the bracket, and the connection for the side burner came squished. once we started to use the bbq with natural gas, it has just been issues after issues. the doors constantly fall off, the brackets do not support any weight and every component inside the bbq is rusted. the bbq never sees rain as its always covered up and well taken care of. very disappointed in this product as its a waste of money. thanks!

Poor Quality, Especially for the Price. My experience was pretty much the exact same as the first review on here. Purchased mine a few years back and thing has pretty much rusted out. I noticed it a few months into it and couldn't believe it. I seasoned it before every use, and covered it after every use, so trying to take care of it didn't do anything to prevent this from happening. I contacted Broil King when I noticed it a few months in and all I got was "to prevent this from happening season grates before every use" which I already explained I was doing.

Great Grill Forget the SS junk that has only looks. I have had this grill since around 2018 and I use it year round three times a week. It has never let me down and I have used it for everything from hot dogs to full turkeys. The key is the heavy duty thick steel grates and the thick steel shell which far exceeds anything flimsy stainless steel can provide. I purchased it to replace my broil King imperial grill that I owned for 18 years prior.

Unbelievable barbeque! I bought this for my birthday and couldn't wait to try it out. My first attempt at grilling a steak was nothing short of fantastic! It doesn't matter what I grill on this beast, it just turns out perfect. There are no cold or hot spots like my old bbq. The temperature I grill steaks at is 500F and it holds the temp at 1/4 of the the range so I save on propane too. Best grill and last one I'll ever need or want. Glad my son talked me into buying it.

GREAT SHAPE 8 YEARS OF WEEKLY COOKING. I have used this BARON 520 Pro for 8 years replaced the drip plates 1 time, cooks great. This is the best grill I have had in all the other 15 are 20 grills in 55 years of cooking.

Fantastic BBQ. I bought this last summer to replace my previous Broil King, and can't be happier with it. I've used it all year, winter included, and absolutely love it.

Great product. I have thoroughly enjoyed bakinging and cooking on this barbecue! I use my cast iron cookware to bake bread, and cakes, slow cook roasts or rib. Flame broil burgers, steaks, it's endless, I cam use this in replacement of my oven! Side burner great for past or vevetables!

Awesome Purchase!! I researched many gas grills before I found the Broil King that had all of the features that I wanted!! First of all, this was the ONLY gas grill that I could find that all parts were made and the grill was completely assembled in the USA! I love the cast iron grates! My food doesn’t stick and is an easy cleanup! I appreciate the 4 burners to be able to cook our food either directly on the flame or bake off to the side using the indirect heat!! I am SO happy I found the Broil King grill and will never purchase another brand grill again!!

The always reliable gas grill. Over 5 years old and still working fine. Nice grilling space for whole turkeys.

Quality BBQ. We got this grill as a Christmas gift for ourselves. The first thing we noticed was how heavy duty it is and how well it is made. We picked the Baron after extensive research of many other grills. The features, quality of construction, and the grilling design won out and we have not been disappointed. So far just steaks and burgers but come summertime we plan to do much more.

Absolute North American made Quality. This is my second Broil King grill . The Baron model is built with quality materials, heavy and well made. The light up controls were definitely unique, but the best thing is the Infrared Side Burner, perfect for searing steaks.

Best bbq ever owned! We are very happy owners of this bbq, first time having one with a rotisserie…and it’s a favourite way to cook any type of roast…effectively cooking a lot now with no flares so no black burnt meats! Unfortunately our side burner was accidentally turned on by a guest, who didn’t realize it was the side burner, lid down so we have an unsightly burn ring on the lid…we tried to order new one last summer, late in season, out of stock. So will try again to purchase this spring! I can’t take a photo as our Baron is tucked away in our breezeway for the winter….we use it 3 seasons!

8 years and still cooling. Like anything else, weather, heat and age all play a role. Just replace the burners flavor plates and it runs just like new. Everything else is solid and intact. Ready for another 8 years

Great Barbecue. I bought this barbecue last summer and wanted to make sure that I used it many times before writing a review. This is my third Broil King and like the other ones this unit is great. The only reason I've had three is because they are natural gas and when I sold my previous houses, the buyers wanted the bbq. Otherwise I may still be using the first one. Highly recommend Broil King.

Solid and reliable. I've had this grill for one year now, and I use it during the heat of summer and cold of winter. It is a reliable machine and solidly built. The only issue I've had is if the wind hits it just right the flame will blow out. Outside of that no issues whatsoever and I've been really happy with this purchase. I wanted a grill that wasn't a throw-away-in-two-years purchase and that is exactly what I got.

Best BBQ. I love my Broil King. The rotisserie works great for chickens and roasts and the side burner cooks my onions and mushrooms. The grill is awesome for steaks, salmon, sausages, skewered vegetables, etc. Easy to clean grills and under flavor bars.

Baron. This is the third Broil King that I have owned. They have all worked good. I replaced the burner on one that got me another year. Don’t think you can buy a better barbeque for the price you pay.

Amazing grill? I picked up this grill about 8 months ago and could not be happier. Grilling, searing, rotisserie, using the griddle everything I do on this grill is perfect.

BARON™ 440 PRO. I bought this grill in 2015. I like the way it cooks. I have had to replace most of the internal components but that is to be expected considering how long I have been using it.

Best BBQ Ever. I've owned my Broil King BBQ for over 6 years. It is hooked up to natural Gas and has never failed me. This is truly the best barbecue I've ever owned. I've had many of the big brands but if you're looking for consistent heat and high heat especially for grilling you just can't beat a broil King.. In the eight years I've only had to replace the thermometer and the battery operated starter switch. That's truly amazing. I do take care of my things but considering the amount of high heat this barbecue generates in excess of 700 Fahrenheit it's awesome that it stays together.

Great Grill. I really like this grill, I gave up on Weber grills, to expensive, this was a good price and gets the job done. I like the fact that burners run vertically, gives you more control of the heat.

Great quality grill! Perfect for the outdoor chef. I bought this grill s440 baron LP April 15 of 2023. After researching all kinds of grills on the market I settled on this one. I could not be happier the hardware store I purchased it from was a dealer and the customer service was exceptional. I went back and forth between stainless and cast iron grates. I settled on stainless grates and am completely satisfied . Everything cooks much more evenly than the last grill I had. In the summer I cook on it roughly 5 nights a week and would cook on it more in the winter except it’s so sharpe I don’t even like to get it wet. I’m going to build a mobile grill station for bad weather. Great grill and would highly recommend it for the BBQ men and women out there. Quality product along with all of the accessories the pizza stone is great for grilling quick pizzas. Things are expensive these days but if your in the market for a quality grill this is the one to spend your hard earned cash on. Your not just buying the grill its a feeling that completes your home cooked meal with your family and friends.

Broil King is a Powerhouse Grill. I’ve had my Broil King Baron Grill now for 10 months. This grill is terrific! I’ve grill fish, chicken, beef, pork, ribs, vegetables and bread on it to perfection. Ignites first time every time. Even heating- no hot or cold areas. Perfect for year round grilling! I purchased the Broil King cover to protect this gem from weather and dust. It is of superior quality and is a worthwhile add on. Getting a new grill? Get a Broil King! Very happy with it!!

Scratched Shelf. after assembling the BBQ, noticed that the shelf had scratches on it. Sent and email with photos, Broil King responded quickly and had a replacement shelf sent right away. excellent customer service.

Dont buy. after a little bit over 2 years , logo plate with temperature sensor fell off and when i called manufacturer i learned its not cover under warranty. for grill which will stand 2 years totally not worth it.

Quality and performance. Fantastic BBQ system. With all the accessories available from Broil King, this is not just a grilling machine but it can handle all cooling style. We use the rotisserie to make juicy chicken. Attach the enclosed basket and watch chicken wings and drums d tumble to perfection. We added another accessories, stainless steel basket from Broil King to our collection and shrimps turn out perfect. Now we just need that stone pan to bake pizza so we never have to leave the patio. We use this BBQ for everything. This BBQ is a replacement for our 11 year old Weber Genesis which we loved but it always felt under powered compared to the Baron 520. Warming up the Baron is fast and grilling in the cold Canadian winter just got quicker. This is our first Broil King and noticed the same excellent built quality as our Weber. I was surprised to see the Baron also have cast aluminum tube. To think of it, this is Broil King and quality should be expected at this price point. I am glad we tried Broil King and very happy with our purchase.

It is a good grill but rusts out way too quick. I had my grill for 2years and the igniter went out on it. I have had my grill now for a total of about six and a half years and it is about due for me to relace the whole thing. They say it is warranties for 10 years. I keep it covered and it still rusted out way too quick.

poor internal components . wanted to love this bbq .... BUT all internal parts have poor life span for the cost of this bbq and warranty should be way better on those parts , have done one internal component replacement ( under warranty ) and its due for another all within 5-6 years and part are over 500.00 to replace( not warrantied ) . i bought unite in 2018 , first replacement of internals was 2021 now 2023 all burners , collector box , rotisserie burner and grills , for sure need replaced again . not quality for sure. contact for photos

Good Grill--Bad Warranty. I purchased this grill and was pretty happy with it overall. It was purchased in 2017 and purchased it mainly for the warranty and made in North America. I decided to use the warranty recently and was very underwhelmed. I had to go through a bunch of hoops. The time I was actually made some progress and gave my card for shipping. The parts weren't available and I had to go through hoops again to provide my card again and get parts shipped. This happened a few times. I finally got my parts about 2 months later without instructions. I started to disassemble the grill and a lot of the parts were rusted and either broke during disassembly. This is why I got tired of tracking someone down and gave up. I will be purchasing another grill soon as it has been 3 months since I have had a working grill. I think this is a strategy to get you to NOT use the warranty.

Bad side burner infrared. Love this BBQ, except the infrared side burner pilot won’t shut off after the burner is going. The side of the fry pan gets covered with black smoke, and cant get it off the side.

Solid Unit. I bought my 320 approximately 10 years ago and have enjoyed it since day one, I am now having to replace the flame spreader and the cute little drip catcher, which I feel after 10 years is pretty darn good. I am having trouble with online retailers these are uncommon parts and have reached out to Broil King for help.

Awesome as I expected. I bought my Barron 320 because I wanted a smaller 3-burner grill to pair with my charcoal grill. I did a lot of comparisons and read the reasonable reviews to make my decision. I bought the grill in 2019 and have used it a lot. I live in NC so am able to use it year round. Temp is even, box gets and stays hot on cold days. It is really an awesome grill. I have not had to replace any parts. I do keep it covered with a heavy duty Broil King cover. I expect this grill to last 12-15 years. You will not go wrong with this grill.

Absolutely Love My Grill! I was so excited to find this grill that was made in the USA and had everything I wanted! I love the cast iron grates that cook meat perfectly and you can flip them over to cook different kinds of meats and vegetables!!

High quality and value. I bought the Baron 420 in June to upgrade a 10 year old Broil King product and so far I’m extremely happy with the purchase. The construction, burners, ignition, and heavy lid are all high quality, and the stainless steel grids are outstanding! I’ve done about 20 cooks and highly recommend this grill. Best darn grill ever. Brought this grill 8 yrs ago. We use it 2-3 times a week all year around and it has never failed. Lights every time and cooks chicken and ribs like nobody’s business. You don’t have to enter me in contest. I know it said items purchased in the last year. But I just wanted you to know this grill is fantastic.

It is easy to clean and still looks as good as it did when we first purchased it. Made from quality materials and has held up very well. Was very easy to put together.

Certainly a worthy grill for the $. Nice heavy gauge, retains the heat even in the UP! Just clean it twice a year, and it’s all gravy.

Good quality, heat control issues. This is a very nice unit, well made. My particular unit has had problems with controlling heat and my warranty experience has not been good. And heat still can't be controlled.

No disappointments here! Three years into and only wish it came with stainless grates. Not a complaint just a suggestion.Works great easy start and clean up. Well built sturdy shelves, handle,thermometer. I keep covered while not in use and looks as good as new, even better with cookout patina.

Broil King Delivers. I searched long and hard for a new grill as my old one badly needed to be replaced. I wanted a grill manufactured in North America, produces high heat, natural gas, and lighting. Broil King was for me! They have a range of grills to fit every need and budget. The Baron 420 Natural Gas with push button ignition, heavy duty materials, LED knobs and accurately placed bolt holes along with detailed well thought out assembly instruction. The assembly video helps as a reference too. Don’t forget a cover for this gem. It fits perfectly and is very heavy duty. Highly recommend Broil King Baron!

The VERY Best Grill I've Ever Seen. At almost 70 years old I can't count how many grills I've put together and then put to the curb due to rusting out after 2 to 3 years. The stainless steel Broil King is built so well it's hard to find enough superlatives to describe the thing completely. It definitely is a tad expensive however! After putting it together I just stood back and smiled as I felt I'd created a work of art. Really wasn't happy with the hard copy manual but I found a video online that made assembly super simple and eliminated all the frustration the paper manual would have caused. Starting the grill, no matter which of the 4 burners I select, is a breeze. I have never had so much control of the temperature as I've found with my Broil King. It truly is a grill that has been engineered by people that know grills and then who picked the very best components to build the thing. Truly amazing!

Excellent Grill. Had it for over 6 yrs, the nat gas version and hooked it up to my homes supply line.

The basic structure is excellent but the rest ? The only thing that disappoints are some of the internal bits and peaces rust out pretty fast even though the grill is always covered. The basic structure is very good. Burners also rusted out and had to be replaced under warranty. This was a bit of a let down but overall I still like the grill for the money spent it is a good value.

Baron with side burner. Bought this bbq last year. It works amazing. Only issue was it didn’t come wired properly to use the igniter, so we have to use a handheld bbq lighter.

Sturdy and well built. Good value with side burner and back burner. Assembly was frustrating. Instructions were all pictures, no words, and the same instructions applied to both propane and gas models yet the parts were different in several places. Quite confusing!

I PICK MY PROPANE BBQ ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO .HAD NATURAL GAS THAT GIVE OUT ON ME AFTER 10 YEAR OF LOT OF USE .NEED TO GET GAS LINE IN GROUND SO FOR NOW GOT THIS ONE AND I got to say did not disappoint me work great looks great .had broil king from day one and will never change . Great sturdy and weel built. Ive been a broil king fan for years. This is a great long lasting BBQ that is built sturdy and lights up everytime. Very even heat on all 5 burners and is reasonable to clean. Just like any BBQ cleaning is a pain in the butt, Broil king makes it easier to remove all the grates and cover to do a deep clean . As always when this baby runs its course I'll be buying another Broil King grille.

Excellent grill. I bought the grill a few weeks ago and it continues to beat my expectations. Did make some ribs the other night using indirect heat and they turned out great. Everything we have tried so far has been excellent, this includes ribs, steaks, burgers, brats and hot dogs. Very even heat distribution.
