Char-Griller CATCH PAN – REMOVABLE (NEW GAS GRILLS)(3000, 3001, 3072

Because I'm very mechanical I would buy this again if I need. Removable tray is for the newer gas grills and my drill is off the older type. For me it was easy to work around the differences and install it on my older grill. So, if you have an older grill and purchase the new tray you will have some work to make it fit.

This does NOT fit all 3001 Models. This part is sneakily labeled. It will fit model 3001D, but not 3001A/B/C. You find your model letter at the end of your serial number. Chargriller claimed calling it "removable for new gas grills" was enough info to discern this. They offered a refund if I paid shipping to return, but it wasn't cost effective to do so. Since the correct part is on backorder, I drilled two holes into this part and propped it on the grill stand as a makeshift solution.

Buyer beware. I bought this grill and after the third use the catch pan broke, you would think after a while these companies would get it, if you sell junk you fooled me once but you will not fold me again and I will not buy your junk again
