Char-Griller CHARCOAL FIRE PAN – (5750)

Why would I buy another? The fact that it warped horribly after first use plus it rusting away within a year, then waiting over 3 months after ordering a replacement only to have the wrong part delivered, they sent the ash pan instead, things don't look good at all for future Chargriller ownership.

I will not buy this again. It warped just like the last one! It needs metal welded from corner to corner.

Warps easily. After the first time using the grill this fire pan warped. I am not happy about it and dont want to spend and additional $28 on something that will most likely do the same thing. Hoping their is a better quality piece they offer for this grill. Outside of that I think this grill is perfect.

Too thin and warps badly. I have had a Duo 5050 and last fall bought the Hybrid due to the redesign of the flat charcoal pan and very convenient ash pan removal/cleanout. Excellent design. However seems Chargriller cheaped out on the thickness of the charcoal pan as it warped immediately! I was very dismayed as I have had my 5050 for 10 years. My secret, the new grills get wiped down inside and out with a light coating of olive oil and then both sides heated up to "season" the metal. My grills show no rust anywhere, plus I bought the cover! It would be nice if CG would make a thicker metal charcoal pan replacement. Listening out there???
