Char-Griller FIREGRATE (1224, 1515, 1616, 1624, 22424, 3724, 72424)

Good replacement grate and fast delivery. Good quality metal and good fit. Keeps the firebox in good condition

Fire grate for 1624. Is the same as the original that came with the smoker I bought 11 years ago

Good grate. Good price. Replacement firegrate was a perfect fit. It shipped quickly. It appears to be of the same quality as the original, i was it was a little more heavy duty but for the price i am not going to complain. This firegrate is in the side fire box that is only used occasionally and should last for what i want. Complete grill is 5 years old and i love it.

no personal contact. need better contact not auto answering machines for ordering and parts help

Works. Only thing left that works for my old reverse smoker, thank God, but it's only 10 yrs old, and still smoking

Love it!! Makes it like a new grill again!! I love my new grill grates

Firehrste. Well built and easy to keep clean. Highly recommended.

Exact fit. Exactly the same as the original which if you are buying a new one, you already know they tend to rust and deform over time.

Fire grate. Lot of charcoal used on the first one , still could be used but might as well just replace it to

Good custom Service. The faregate fits perfectly and it was shipped right after I ordered.

I would buy this product again. i use as a tabletop grill and use the rack for charcoal

Replacement Grate - Just What I Needed! I needed to reach out to Customer Service to locate this replacement charcoal grate for my smoker box. They were responsive and most helpful. I then ordered the part. It came well packaged and in a timely manner.

When I'm done with this, I'll get another one!! Fit like a charm and I'm back to smokin' up a storm! Thanks!

I would and have bought this product again and again. This is the third firegrate I have used. I've had this smoker for nearly 25 years and it's been great. The parts hold up well, it's just that I use the hell out of this smoker.

Exact Replacement, Shipping Pricey. Received the product quite quickly and found it to be an exact replacement for the rusted grate in my grill. Only downside was I paid more for shipping it than the item cost. Unfortunately, the exact item is not available from a third party. Love the grill, by the way.

I will be buying from them again. Worked great!! But was really surprised at the speed of getting the part. Way fast!!

Keep on Grillin'! This company gives excellent service and the shipping was very fast. Great products! Thanks!!

Firegrate replacement. The replacement grate seems to be of better quality than original.

Better quality needed. Not very durable material. Used twice and it's pretty much worthless now.

Great Product, Great Service! I ordered this because I needed a new one! Glad they were in stock! Customer service was great, as was delivery! Support matched the quality of the product - excellent!

Great piece, good fit. Just wished they had a heavier duty grate for it. When I use it for smoking (setup as a side smoker) the logs I use must burn too hot even on a low smoking temp. I can't get a whole lot of smokes out of it before it starts warping and sagging. Looking for a heavier thickness steel or maybe a cast iron version.

Yes I would but all Char-Griller products. I love Char-Griller products!!!!! I have used them for over 25 years and would never use anything else. This small side box coal grate fits perfectly, but unfortunately the large ash pan coal grate and holder is a little over 2 inches to long.

I would. use as designed. functional. extends life of ash drawer.

Excellent. Exact replacement part. Excellent shipping time. Love my Char Griller. Thanks.

will buy again when needed. Was Surprised Had bought a replacement before was light weight this Product was a Far Better Product

Order replacement parts making grill new. So easy to order replacement grates, making my grill last .

Grate replacement. The grate in the smoker box is good but I think it would be much better if it was cast iron. It is cheap enough to replace every 4-5 years though

I would but this again. The fire grate is fine. This is the second grill I have bought that is a char griller. The only problem I see with these is the welds sometimes do not hold together especially where they are tack welded.

Exactly what Ineeded. Very Impressed with the quality, speed and cost to get this replacement for my firebox.

Throw away the new one and buy the replacement. Lots of air leaks uses lots of charcoal.

Useless after 4 hours in the fire. Completely useless at its intended function. Deformed after just 4 hours in the fire. Literally melts

Needs to be made of heavier material. I ordered this product to replace the firegrate in my off set smoker. Fire box side. It is a good product except for one thing. They do not last long. I have to replace it every year.

yes, I would buy this part again. No brainer replacement grate for burnt old unit. Drop-in, no fuss.

Perfect piece. Exactly what I needed for the bottom of my Ashdrawer. Not sure what side to have the Firegrate face up or down.

Direct Replacement Part, As Described. Replacement for items lost while transporting grill #1624 on a utility trailer during a 100-miles move.

Parts for smoker. Replacement part. Got it quickly. Reasonable price but shipping more than part costs. Oh Well.

Direct replacement for the original. I have used my grill so much that the original fire grate warped enough that air couldn't get underneath the firegrate after about the third round of coal went in. The replacement makes it work good as new again

I will probably need to buy this product again. Appears to be better made than the original firegrate.

New fire grate. The product arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I'm very happy

Easy to install, top quality. You know you grill a lot when you need to replace a firegrate. I smoke usually once a week, or more twelve months a year, even in the snow. I've had the grill for almost six years. My old grill grate was deformed from heat. This just goes right in, no tools, and ready to put another Boston Butt on the smoker.

The Fire Grate is perfect for it's use. I grill and BBQ often so the fire grate gets a lot of use. I've had to purchase several of them and they break down sooner than I would like. It's still a good grate but the gage could be thicker so they don't break down as quickly.

I would buy this as needed. I needed a fire gate bad mines was bent from years of extreme heat.

You will be my go to for grills and parts. Things are great. Fast and reliable. Better than expected

Vetilate Your Fuel. Great for the smoke box. Keeps the wood and coals open to get air to burn evenly.

New Again! With the new fire grate, my smoker is like new again, only better. Better because you cannot buy a new smoker with 20 years of seasoning. This smoker has lasted 27 years and is still in great shape! I was hoping it would last five!

Fast shipping perfect fit. Perfect fit and looks good... Can't wait to smoke something now that there is something to put the wood on again.

Garbage. The one that came with my grill collapsed after just a couple of uses. I'm currently looking for something more durable. Avoid this item.

Not heavy enough. First I love my grill but this part doesn't hold up. It warps after just one or two uses. I found that using the cast iron cooking grate turned sideways in the bottom of the firebox works great. Since I never use the firebox for direct cooking it works out.

Great part. SFB Firegrate, was great replacement part, glad Char Griller offers spare parts, smoker back in business

Side Firebox Firegrate. Used grill 5 times over last summer (2016). grill was brand new. Grate did not last. middle burned out and cracked. ordering 2 for this summer.

Novice Pit Master. This piece of hardware in my Opinion is sub standard and would be better replace with a fire box grate. I would rate this hardware a MINUS 10.

Needs to be stronger. Love the grill and the side box smoker but the fire grate has never been in the rain but it warping and breaking a part at some of the welded joints.

SFB Firegrate. This fire grate warped into the shape of a shallow soup bowl. I told customer service NOT to send me a new grate as I don't believe that it will with stand the temp. but to replace it with the heavy grate as I know that it will work and be a better product for the fire grate. Sorry guys but I still Love my smoker and all of you.
