Paint peeled the first time I used this. I was please to finally see a replacement for this smoker's firebox. After using it the first time, the paint peeled back and is now exposed steel. I spent half the cost of the smoker on replacement parts only to get a replacement that is unsatisfactory the first use.

The top half rusted out in 5 years, just after warranty had expired. Luckily, I was able to purchase the top half of the fire box from Char Griller.

Fits perfectly. I would have like to have the bolts to connect this to the main body, and the bottom half, but otherwise it fit perfectly and was easy to install.
