Kamado Joe Deep Dish Ceramic Pizza Stone

Versatility. This is an amazing accessory feature. So far we’ve used it for a deep dish pizza and an apple crisp. Highly recommend this product!

We love our home made pizza. We bought this a few months back and no longer order out for pizza. Our home made pizza is some of the best pizza I have ever eaten. Works great. Pizza is ready in 5 minutes. We can try different toppings since we usually make more than 1 at a time. It has been awesome. It works exceptionally well.

Detroit deep dish lovers rejoice. I’m from Michigan and plan on staying. We like our Detroit style pizza and a smoked version don’t really do anything but make it taste 1000% better. Plus the crust becomes perfectly crispy on the bottom.

Do not recommend. I followed instructions for using this stone! My pizza stuck so badly, it wouldn’t even come out of the stone. Left most of the crust just stuck to the stone and it was almost impossible to get it cleaned out. We also noticed a crack in the stone when we took it off the grill. I would not recommend this stone.

Broke on first use. Broke on the first use. $40 worth of ingredients all over the Joe.

Best Deep Dish Pizza. I got this pizza dish a year ago and have done several cooks on the Kamado Joe. The pizza crust is the best I have ever had, the ceramic pulls the moisture out of the crust while giving it a nice golden brown color and tasty crunch. No need to grease the pan and cleanup is simply wipe and store. It gains color and improves the non stick qualities over time. The first cook I only had the standard heat deflectors on the level below the pan and the crust was a little too brown/burnt. Cook time is about 45 minutes for deep dish, if you push it too long to the hour mark you will get a burnt bottom. In some cases I have placed the dish directly on top of a second heat deflector and that seems to work well if the cook is longer than 45 minutes/time isn't as critical. Unfortunately the family used it for an oven cook and after use it didn't cool completely and it got wet in a sink. That cracked the pan and I had to throw it out. It is so good a product I have purchased it again and this time I will take care to cool properly and never let it get wet.
