Good Value. Bought two blue starfish 2 years ago to use on our boat while traveling. We are very satisfied with the performance and reliability of these bikes. Especially like the adjustable handlebars. I'm 6-2 and my wife is 5-9. We can modify the positions of the seat and the handlebars to fit out sizes. We've had no problem with the range and the speed is more than adequate. The seat for me was uncomfortable, so purchased another seat and the installation was easy. I recommend con sidering these bikes if you are looking for a fold-up

Exactly what I was looking for. This is my first e-bike. I was very excited to receive it. It was easy to put together and everything worked as described. I did order and replace the seat with an oversized padded seat. Other than that it is perfect. It is so fun to ride, folds easily, and is exactly what I ordered. I am a grandma and I wanted to be able to ride with my grandkids. It pedals so easily, I hardly use the pedal assist but am glad it is there when I need it

Perfect fit. Starfish is perfect for a smaller person. I’m 4’11” and it’s perfect. I like the walk thru frame to get on bike. I lowered the air pressure in bike and it rides smooth. Has a quick response when the right hand throttle is used. This bike has a full grip throttle like a scooter or motorcycle. Customer service is great. Very helpful and quick response. I would recommend this e-bike to anyone. I’m glad I purchased the blue starfish. Fun..fun..fun!

Great bike. Bike turned out better than expected. Incredibly easy to assemble and my wife can ride it with ease. Highly recommend

Perfect size for me.. I am relearning how to ride a bike from when I was a kid (believe it or not). I love the Blue Starfish because it has pedal assist which helps me keep up with my athletic biking friends. The size is perfect for my 5’3” height. The folding feature works great and the bike fits easily in my car sedan trunk. The directions for assembly and folding are very clear. I highly recommend the bike for a new rider like myself

Great E bike. I purchased this E bike for my wife who is a little bit more than 4’11”. Most of the E bikes out there will not accommodate her height. This bike has been absolutely perfect so far. She is having a blast riding in an area that is quite hilly. She had a hip replacement seven years ago and was concerned about irritating her hip with a traditional bicycle. With this bicycle she is able to get the exercise, enjoy areas usually only available to walking or bikes, and keep active using the pedal assist. We look forward to riding together. The purchasing process was seamless and the bike arrived in under one week. Very easy to unbox. Absolutely no damage. One small screw was missing to a reflector. Easy fix. We look forward to many years of enjoyment. Would absolutely buy from them again

LOVE this bike! REASONS: 1. I can lift it, fold it up, put it in a tote, & slide it in my SUV..I remove battery 1st, & wt is aprox 42-44 lbs 2. Took it to fla & 1st time out, rode for 3 hrs..plenty charge still on battery..freedom to roam & explore without worry about getting too tired to pedal back..I only used 1st mode of pedal assist, & only gave it a bit of throttle from total stop... 2. LOVE the color..blue 3. LOVE the low step threw 4. LOVE how easy it is to fold & unfold LOVE the high adjustable handlebars, & low seat option..it is like cruising..sitting upright & enjoying the scenery 5. LOVE the decent price compared to everything else out there, & happy NOT to have fat tires to add bulk ..I really LOVE the portability of the Starfish 2 things I did NOT love 1. I changed the narrow, hard, up your....seat, to a nice comfy,.wide seat.. 2. I could not lock the battery, because the battery pop out button did not line up with the hole in the rail, that the battery slides into..so I removed the screw, after unsuccessfully trying to adjust the rail....I slid the rail on 1st then popped battery in under seat..wiggles a bit, but I anchored with velcro strap.. SO I AM A HAPPY SNAPPY CYCLER ON MY FUN CYCLE!!

after a couple weeks!. Love them even more! I have a fat tire , the girls each have a starfish.I could not ride with them before!

excellent ebikes. Value, Quality, excellent company, I bought one for granddaughter and when it got here my other granddaughter wanted one, they love them!

We really like this bike. I bought this for my wife on her birthday. She loves to ride bikes, but she doesn't have the strength in her legs that she used to have. She really likes this Ecotric Starfish bike. The pedal assist modes work great. She only uses mode 1 and 2. Mode 3 is a little too fast for her. Besides that, there is the handlegrip accelerator, which we call "motorcycle mode," which is also great. Finally, we are able to ride the bike as a regular bike, because it has 7 speeds. Pros: Step-through design, 20" wheels, folds small, runs a long time on a single charge, goes plenty fast for us, the color is great, easy to ride. Cons: The pedal cranks are short - we wish they were an inch or two longer to give a wider circle to pedal. The gearing is too low. Even in 7th gear the pedals have to be moved very fast just to go a moderate speed. This would be fixed with a larger front sprocket. All in all, this is a great bike and my wife loves it

Great size. Made some changes. Great size to easily roll into a small hatchback. I only fold handlebars and don't even need to do that. Bike is heavier when fully folded or with battery. It has more than enough speed and power. I would like to see another pedal assist option at the lower level as it is slow in the lowest level and a bit too fast in the next (unless on hills). The ride is comfortable enough for short fun rides. I changed the handlebars to cruiser style for upright seating. And got rid of that awful seat! On the negative side the brakes keep rubbing even after adjusted by a bike shop. don't know if that will continue. (I am a woman in my sixties and this is my first ebike. I love an ebike!)

Good But needs a little Improvement. Seems well made except in a bumpy situation the battery popped up and had to be reseated. Not exactly ready for prime time No integrated head or tail lights. I wonder why. Bell is a joke. Purchased integrated solar powered head tail light horn for 18.00 from amazon. Would have preferred to pay the 18 bucks to ecotric. Also have a problem with ecotric charging sales tax No ReSale number Do not know why. Oh well all in all it seems a pretty sturdy bike Not real fast But do-able

Great bike for the money, but some issues. I've had my Starfish for almost 2 years now and have been very pleased with it and its value for the price paid. I do have a few comments though that may be of interest to others: 1. The weight capacity is an issue. I wish this model could be redesigned to be a better sturdier and have a 250 lb capacity. 2. I get around 15-20 miles per charge on the battery, but I often carry cargo (sometimes in panniers, often with a trailer) and am not a small person so that is a factor too. 3. I'm a little bit taller, so I ended up switching out my seat post to a sturdier and longer one. 4. Ebikes tend to wear out brake pads and tires faster than regular bikes. If you ride often, you may want to have those on hand. It is also smart to have some basic tools to adjust the brakes on long rides. 5. I have 2 spare batteries for this bike to give me more range. They are heavy (but can be stowed in my trailer). Unfortunately they are not always in stock, so if you think you will want a spare battery, I would recommend snagging one when you buy it. (also FYI-- the same battery works with some of the other Ecotric bikes including the Peacedove, my other ebike) Also, FYI, the picture is of my starfish parked at the bike rack at Trader Joe's. Sharing it to show the options for carrying cargo. I can carry a full load of groceries pretty easily on the 15 or so mile ride each way without issues. I'm a fan of this bike. Probably have riden about 3000 miles on it to date, so I definitely have got my money's worth

Wife's Ebike. My wife, who is 5 ft. 0 in. finds the bike a lot easier to mount/dismount. 350 watts is all the power she needs as the faster speeds intimidate her. One main problem, she HATES the seat. It is ver small and uncomfortable for her. We have ordered a replacement from Amazon. I asked if you could supply a comfort package seat (like Ebikes did for me) and you were unable to offer a replacement. YOU LOST a sale opporunity

So far so good. I the saw someone riding one of these at the park 2 weeks ago and spoke to her about her experience. She loved it, let me sit in it and I took lots of pictures. I ran home and ordered mine immediately. I took delivery last week but had to wait to put the bike together due to my husband's surgery. I found it easy to put together and hated to have to wait to charge the battery to get to ride it, lol. It has been some time since I have ridden a bike. After a couple of outings up and down the driveway I took it up our road which is on a hill. I was immediately in love. The seat was a little uncomfortable. I adjusted it and it feels better. May end up getting a gel seat, but haven't ridden it yet since I adjusted it. Tomorrow will be the test. It's a beautiful bike for sure. Well put together and you obviously thought out the design of it. Just what I was looking for

Fun little bike. Upgrade for a small 14in electric bike to this step through version. It is a fun bike to ride, two things I would change... the seat totally uncomfortable for a ride of any length and the fact that the key needs to stay in the battery to operate it... husband has another brand and he can just turn on the bike with the key and remove it from the bike... other than these 2 things one of which can be fixed easily... it is a nice step through for less than 800 bucks and I am very happy with the battery life and the speed

Not a bad first electric bike. The front brakes are not disc, just regular brakes. I find no front disc brakes to be a tremendous issue. The front brakes are not safe.

Not quite!!. I’m 72 years old and purchased the bike 2 to 3 years ago. He does help me keep up with my grandchildren, which is good. I love the looks… Good. It is not easy for me to fold or put in my car. It is possible, but very difficult! It’s definitely not lightweight in my eyes! That’s part of what’s hard about putting it in my car. Bulky and heavy! The full throttle, well, the best way for me to use the power, gives no place to put your hand while you’re not actually engaging the throttle. That caused me to be bucked off one time I’m very careful now and turn off the power whenever I go downhill or stop the bike. The power assist is very jerky! When you pedal, the power surges, and as soon as you stop, peddling, the power is immediately off! Very difficult to get a smooth ride! Perhaps I wrote to the wrong people, but I never got a response back when I asked about a way to turn the power down on the pedal assist so that it wouldn’t be so jerky. Such a shame, because there are definite, good features, but it’s hard for me to really like the bike with the difficulty I’ve had

dinged luggage rack. easy to assemble and fun to ride however, received with the finish chipped on the luggage rack under the foam wrap. have written ecotric twice about this matter with no response. first message was sent a few days following delivery on the day the bike was assembled

Quite disappointed. The screw interface of the pedal is not aligned, it is easy to fall off, and if the accelerator is loose, it is dangerous for misoperation

Battery is dead on arrival. I recharged the battery after received the bike however it does not hold charges and when press the button on the battery give me red one bar indicator. Contacted support team and I don’t think they even read my email and my order number. Support told me the battery is too old and did not even provide information on how to get a replacement. The bike is brand new and still waiting for a solution from support. Not impressed at all
