The Hammer is a great bike. This is my second Hammer the first one I bought used, this one I bought brand new. It is a very tall bike, you can make it lower by removing the spring from the seat shaft. The bike arrived in almost perfect condition, one small wheel reflector got broken during shipping but that is no big deal to replace. Communication with Ecotric via email was very good, as I had some questions about the headlight. Very happy with the bike

love my hammer. I bought my Hammer about 5 years ago when they advertised it as a 1000 watt bike. I put over 1200 miles on it and love it. My other bike is a AWD 3000 watt peak monster and I still prefer my hammer. I had to replace the 48 volt 13 AH battery that went bad after 4 years, ( not complaing here ). I replaced it with a 52 volt 22 ah monster of a battery that fit in the old battery holder with no mods. Now I get to 28 MPH on a level road with peddling and a fresh charge. Thank you Ecotric for making a great fun reliable powerful cruser bike. If you buy one make sure to get the fenders, It keeps me a lot cleaner. Paul

Take it form me. I bought a similar bike 5/22. Now 11/23. This old man put almost 1,000 miles on, and did not take it easy on it. It's a well-built bike. My brakes lasted almost 500 miles no major breakdowns

Best bike for the money hands down.. Great bike, It's a huge beach cruiser with front shocks. I love the handle bars. 28 mph for 22 miles. (after changing the default settings.) I ride on rough, rocky terrain and my bike takes a beating. I would highly recommend installing a torque converter kit ($11.00) to protect the rear motor/wheel axle from spinning on the frame. I dont like the looks of the chrome headlight, so i painted it flat black. Back fender isnt long enough to prevent water from spraying on your back in the rain. I installed an extention mud flap

Hammer time. I my Hammer back in Dec. love this bike! The seat had to be modified. I cut an inch off of the seat frame support. The clamp would still tighten the seat from moving. Just don’t cut anymore than a inch. U should be ok. I’m 5’11 1/2. I can now touch the ground with my feet. If I change the seat to one that’s not as thick. I think I can be lower another inch. This is a very large bike! I added fenders and a rear rack. Easy to do yourself. Only thing you have to do to install rear t fender is back the rear wheel off to tight fender to frame. I chose not to do that afraid I would mess something up. Managed to tight but not as well as I like. Handel bars have been an issue but that can be fixed with a additional screw. Overall it’s a really nice bike and I would buy another one if they ever do a 52V. Even dual motors front and back would be nice

Great ride !. Going on 3 years with my hammer have had no problems. I agree you should be tall. I stand just 5 9. I trimmed off some of the seat post just enough to be able to clamp the seat about an inch and it definitely helped. KAC makes a great bike Carrier for your vehicle To fit 64" axle to axle spread very well built

Replace the seat immediately. This is a great bike - the seat needs to be replaced immediately to prevent bruised tail bone, that can last for years. I know mine still hurts two years later. I put on a boss cruiser over size and it is heavenly !!! I recommend this bike to a large man, bike is tall in the saddle and very heavy, fast and mean. Jim F

Great bike but horrible seat angle. The bike is awesome except the angle of the stock seat hurts my bottom. I purchased a new seat and now the bike is perfect

Great bike after 5 months and still going strong. I am a 6.5 ft tall and 260#, I did an extensive research and I did came across with this one, after 5 months of heavy usage around 150 miles a week this bike still perfect, it is very comfortable by adding a gel seat cover, and a back rack. To be honest, the only complain would be that the seat must be remove every time to charge the battery, but is not a big deal. Great customer service too

Good dependebal bike. replaced the battery in it .I have a older model it has a 1000 watt motor. Being 64 years old and living in West Virginia this bike is great for all the hills I have to go up. I leave it on the level 1 setting except when in traffic to get through intersections I put it on 5 and I go right through them

All around, great bike and great service.. The bike was delivered when promised, very easy to put together. Looking forward to using it this summer. Also, I had a couple of questions regarding accessories before I got the bike and I will say the guys at E-go bikes were very responsive to my emails and were always very helpful . I feel very comfortable that they will be there to support their product and services

The Monster Truck of E-bikes!. A little big for anyone under 6' tall. Fortunately, I'm tall enough to ride this attraction. Shipped fast. Fairly easy assembly. Good power - it needs it because it's pretty stout. Super cool. Super fun. Should have bought one sooner!

I am 6,6 ft tall, and weight 270, this is the first time in my life that I ride a bike comfortable, I have problems with my knees and it work perfect, the first day my plan was to ride for 30 minutes, and I ride for 2.30 hrs, with more than half of the battery, and I did ride on the woods. Great bike. Additional review: after a month I had a problem with the key for the battery, so I sent the an email, and I got contacted very fast and very professional, they sent me the part super fast at no cost, honestly I don't understand about the complaints, the customer service is excellent and the bike is great.

You are buying this bike direct .. This is a great E- Bike for it's price point, it is great looking and rides very comfortably. It is a big bike and the cross bar is high. If you have very very short legs that might be a problem if you stop and don't dismount. I am 5'8" with short legs and I can just barely stand straddling the crossbar. . Ecotric as a company has been very supportive on a couple of little issues I had which were of my own making, however you have to communicate with them via Email. Keep in mind that you are buying direct and I thought that the installation instructions are a little generic because I know nothing about Bike assembly, Hydraulic Bike Brakes and Gear adjustments. Assembly is easy having only to attach front wheel, Handlebars ,( fenders , wheels have to be removed )and Electric monitor

Nice bike I would call it large to xl , well made for price. Very well built bike. I'm 6' 3" and it's fits me well. Easy to assemble, received with no damage from ups in just a few days. 60miles first week and it worked great no problems. It is 750w ul model and easily hit the 20mph and I'm 200lbs. I turned up the speed on controller and it now cruise's on flat ground 25mph but has gone 27mph at times. Tires work well on roadway and if u drop off onto gravel shoulder it transition's nicely. Tighten the crap out of handlebars or there's YouTube videos on how to install a bolt if u r handy. Battery has been getting about 22 miles a charge for me. Shifts work well in the woods on trails and handles minor hills well. Suspension is simple but does the job. Brakes work awesome but I'd say get extra pads, stopping from the speeds that it will run could wear them fast. Well worth the money!!

Sweet ride. Great value. We bought 2 Hammers and love the power. I weigh 220 lbs. and the bike powers me up about any hill without peddling except on the real steep ones. The assembly took about 2 hours with the rack and fenders. You do need to release the air from the tire to install the rear fender but this is a great opportunity to add 6 or 8 ounces of green slime. We bought the 32 ounce bottle of green slime to do both bikes during assembly. One bike had a defective throttle which the seller sent out in about 5 days. They also emailed diagnostic information. It took about an hour to install and was an easy project. I first ran mechanics wire through the frame so I could tape the new wire connector to into pull it through. I highly recommend watching any and all YouTube videos you can find prior to receiving your bike because it made assembly much easier. I also highly recommend the rear rack and fenders. A rear view mirror and helmet are must haves because we average 20 mph but going down hill have hit 35 mph. We also bought an ebike rack for the motorhome so we won't need to pull a car for state, county and national parks. Yes, ebikes are now approved for national parks! Enjoy

Nice bike!. I bought the Sunlite adjustable stem which has 4 bolts. In the photo you can see the original has 2 bolts . I got the 110 mm stem which gave a little extra lift to the handlebars

The most fun. She is a beast but a super fabulous beast. Sorry, it is tallish and someone shorter than 5’8” might have a tough time managing it. 750 watts is the key. Can’t keep a person in the.house when it’s this easy to enjoy the outdoors
★★★★★ John Bonder January 27, 2022
Large powerful bike.. I wanna start off by saying this bike is very masculine looking and huge, it’s almost as big as a Harley! I’m 6.2 and still struggle to throw my leg across the bike with my feet barely able to touch the ground. Also this thing has plenty of power, I weigh 250 pounds and it has no problem powering me up the road! You’re definitely gonna wanna wear a helmet while riding this thing. As far as battery life goes I’ve only ridden it around the neighborhood so far and haven’t taken it any distance so I’m not sure about how many miles you can ride before the battery dies. I’ll give it a 9 out of 10 awesome bike!!

There are a couple issues with the bike. The location of the battery. The seat must be taken out every time to remove the battery to store or charge inside. The gear does not switch right away. It takes a minute or more to switch For me the bike is too heavy as well to ride without power, so that battery ran out afterony 16 miles left me stranded uphill.

Hammer model. Received bike fast...maybe 4 days Came in great shape...easy to assemble.. had it working fine... the brake handle broke on the second day...customer service sent out a complete brake system including calipers replacement fast. I thought I could just switch out the handle but I couldn't...had to take it to my local bike shop and he fixed it for $30....only other thing is the handle bars do spin on the mount. so I did the fix from YouTube guy and drilled hole in neck and put screw in...now everything good..very happy

Hammer. I purchased my first bike a few weeks ago and loved. I just bought another one for my girlfriend. I have had no issues with mine but her battery rattles. I have not had a bunch of time to mess with it yet but it seems like the bar it slides on to allows the battery to wiggle. I did adjust the up and of the mounting bar. The gears on my second bike need some adjustment. They do not switch as easy as my first bike and make some noise. After looking at the gears is does seem that neither bike does not go into actual 1st ( The largest gear on the back tire). I have not messed with adjustment yet but have watched a few videos. Over all I am happy with them so far

Great bike. Handlebars need a new design. They will not tighten enough to be stable. Several friends have the same issue with the Hammer. This issue has caused multiple crashes

The bike is extremely awesome and powerful but using pedal assist at 50% of the time I only got 16 miles on a full charge and it says it’s supposed to get 33. Somewhat a little disappointed but maybe I have to break that battery in also so we’ll see. But I also did get a lot of accessories for the bike from Ecotric. Also disappointed you guys don’t have the helmet it’s out of stock and so is a spare battery it’s been been like that for a while, So the helmet I’ll buy elsewhere. Using the bike as a daily ride to work and back 6 miles round-trip.

Great bike for the money with a couple problems. Bought a "Hammer". Had to, that's my actual last name. Love the fat tires. Very stable ride. Have them at 7 P.S.I. and they along with the front suspension really soak up the bumps. 5 levels of power assist is good. I live on a very steep hill and he goes right up in level 3. However......Front, and to a lesser degree the rear brakes made loud screeching noise right out of the box when applied. Removed the pads, sanded them aggressively, cleaned the pads and rotors with brake cleaner and they were then much better.....for a couple days. Not happy with them. Also the derailleur was not set up properly at the factory. I can't get to 1st and 7th gears. And this is a heavy boy. I'm 73 and he's tough to pedal without power. And you better be at lest 5' 11" to get on this bike. Bottom line? Be A Man (or whatever) and Go For It

Worst product ever.. I ordered two bikes only received one. The one I did receive came in damaged won't go past 8 mph chain keeps popping off. Also impossible to get on unless you have a ladder. This bike is made for people over 8 feet. I asked for a refund for both bikes the first day of receiving the first bike. Customer service is the absolute worst I have ever experienced. They were refusing to take back the bike is canceled before even receiving it. They decide to ship it out anyways, and now asking for a restocking fee for this unopened bike that I canceled before receiving. I don't recommend getting any product from this manufacturer. The worst experience I ever had in my life stick to buying anything on Amazon or in a store
