Love induction!. It's amazing how quickly this thing boils water. And then when you turn it off--no more heat at all. No lag. All the convenience and performance of gas without the danger. This stove is a little noisy. Higher end has less buzzing

Found out dream INDUCTION 😂. Our preowned motorhome came with a crappy 2 burner (Electric 🤮). One of which didn't even work. We wanted an INDUCTION. Had to return a 3 burner - it didn't work. The 2 burner induction was too small and inconvenient for full time living. Finally decided to cut counter top to accommodate a beautiful 4 burner induction. We needed a 120 volt one. The description, if not read thoroughly - makes it seem like it's 120 volts. It's actually requires 240 volts. It's a common misread. And that's why I deducted ONE STAR because it can be misleading for some odd reason? We converted it to 240 volts by ‘piggybacking' it to another appliances' wiring (simply by just piggybacking in the fuse box) and then labeled the wire. Just in case we forget or an electrician needs to know. Now it's 240 and works like a dream. Sturdy and ergonomic (controls etc). We even have room to place our coffee pot on one of the back burners as we never use all four. It's modern looking and boils water in a snap! Cleans easily with recommenced cleaners. It's worth cutting a larger recess into the marble countertop and buying and sealing a few matching tiles around the tiny crevice. All of this still cost under $450. Love the brand and unlike the returned 3 burner induction- it works great! We bought the 3 yr ‘Assurian' warranty for like $30+ (we rarely buy extenders) just in case. Worth every dollar and the few hours to make it perfect

Heats up fast, fairly easy to use, but I heard induction is not hot to the touch but the burners does stay hot after you're done cooking

We just remodeled our kitchen and I bought the 2 burner cooktop first, but luckily you can use it as a portable before installing it. I found that it just wasn't powerful enough and when you brought one burner up to a high temperature, it lowered the other burner - so you could never have both burners at maximum. This four top was the solution. Being a 240 volt product it can run the burners on high. Pros: Smooth surface; no buttons to clean around. Can be installed flush with counter so becomes a part of counter If you put things on it when not in use it beeps if you hit the power button Three steps to turn on. First press power, then the burner and then the heat level Countdown timer to shut off a pot when you want it off. No more burnt rice. Cons The two burner showed the heat in watts. This was easier for me to understand. I still haven't figured out how hot is a "7" or a "5" Surface scratches easily. We have a couple scratches, probably from cleaning, but not too noticeable The burners turn on and off to keep the heat steady - you can hear them cycling. This is my first time cooking on induction and I wish the heat was steady or cycled faster so you didn't notice it going on and off. To turn off the burner you need to press the button repeatedly to step down the heat setting. If there is an instant off, I haven't figured it out. However, if you are just using one burner, the power button will turn off the entire stove in one press. A little noisy, the fan runs when heating. A little noisy, the pots and pans I bought crackle. But I guess that is a function of the cookware, not the stove All and all, I love it

Awesome product. I never bought an induction cooktop before but these are awesome. Particularly Empava. they get high ratings and reveiws but a lot less expensive than the other ones I've looked at. Very stylish - look high -end and perform high-end. I like the fact that they are a lot cheaper to operate than a gas range like I had before. Highly recommend this to anyone

Good for the price. Minor complaints:1) It doesn't have 10 power levels, it has 5 power levels, and the pulses the power on and off at the lowest level to effectively reduce it further. The problem with this is that the power output for setting L (one step below 1) through 5 are all the same, which makes burning pancakes quite easy. The easy work around for this is to use an induction plate between your induction cooktop and your induction pan to help even out the heating cycles. And no, I don't have thin pans, I have triple layer aluminum core pans. Because there is an effective work around I don't find this a major issue, but it is a definite drawback. All they needed to do was make the power pulse on and off at a faster rate rather than 4 seconds on, then 4 seconds off. My old induction cooktop pulsed on and off every half second to achieve the lower power levels, only difference is in programming, not hardware.2) Cannot easily turn off just 1 burner. You can hold down the power button for each burner while it slowly counts down and turns off, but there is no quick off button for just 1 burner.Other than that I've had the stove several months and I rather like it. Really can't beat the performance to the price and it's good for my limited countertop space

Instant heat!. I love this new cooktop! It gives you heat at a moments notice, and when your are finished cooking turns off quick. There is even a timer you can put on, which turns the cooktop off when it's finished. Very well made and beautiful! Looks so updated and European

Great compact induction cooktop. We upgraded our cottage kitchen and wanted to try an induction cooktop. The Empava 24" cooktop had good reviews, was 220VAC which was the existing hookup voltage. We installed it in a new quartz counter top without any issues. We have used it daily for 6 months as we are living in the cottage during a remodel of our main house. No regrets with getting this cooktop. Took a few days to get the feel of the controls after cooking with gas for the last 15 years. After that it has been very positive experience. Fast heat up of water as advertised, but more important, very consistent temperatures. Small but usable footprint, and in the time we have had it one small scratch on the surface. We will have both in the remodeled house, induction and gas for cooking. Would recommend it without hesitation

Pleasantly surprised by this new brand. I dropped a glass on our whirlpool cooktop and it shattered, causing me to have to search for a replacement. The exact replacement for my Whirlpool was $900 . I have been wanting induction so began researching - most of them were $2k. When I found this Empava one for significantly cheaper, I was skeptical at first but after researching online and so many positive reviews, I decided to buy and I am SO glad I did! This is a sleek, stylish and upscale looking induction cooktop for fractions of the price of others. I have been using this regularly and love it- cooks things really fast, zero mess afterwards. Love it! Definitely recommend and it was easy for my husband to install

Burners slowly start not recognizing pans.. I loved this when I got it but slowly over the last 2 years each burner has become unusable. They start to give you the error that no pan is present. First one than two, then three and now the last one is often not recognizing pans. I get that I paid the quarter of the price of a name brand but now apparently I'm didn't even get what I paid for

Like it. I didn't know what induction was until we built a kitchen from scratch. Let me tell you, it's the way to go. I highly recommend induction in general. Specifically, this model is great. It was delivered no problem to my rural address. Just be aware that the elements are on the small side so no giant cookware. That doesn't stop me at all but if you have large pans it is worth considering because the induction only heats right where the element is. The rest will have cold spots. Happy cooking!

The size of the coils is of primary importance. In addition, the manner with which the heating temperature is regulated is by on/off timing. The lower temperatures were just shorter on times. Thickness spec is bogus.. We wre mounting this over a microwave oven. The thickness spec does not include the conduit elbow which extends from the center of the bottom and add almost another 2". certainly would have been nice to know. Now we have to bad a spacer and trim for the whole counter to create the head room needed

Beautiful. Was very easy to install, very nice and love the 4 burners..very hard to keep clean though but all the glass ones are. Works great!

Best induction cooktop for low price. Bought for our vacation home to replace hard metal element cooktop. Easy to use. Cooks well. Bought induction cookware to replace aluminum ones. Easy for my electrical engineer Husband to install!

Bonita, no apta para México. Esta muy bonita, estuvo a buen precio pero lo que me ahorre ahora lo tengo que pagar en instalación 220, ya que ese voltaje no aplica a la mayoría de las casas en México. En la descripción lo dice pero yo no lo leí. Además, no te da la posibilidad de devolución. Entonces piense lo antes de comprarla o veoriquen que sea 110 volts

This a great product, ideal for a small to medium kitchens. Love the magnetic contact and the fact that if you move the pots, it will turn off to avoid you get burn or you forget to turn it off. I remodeled my kitchen and it looks great in my counter.

Great Induction Cooktop. This replaced a old induction cooktop that one element worked intermittently, the low settings on this unit are better as they are not as high temp as our previous unit and still boils water fast when set to 9, have not used the boost button yet. Unit fit right into existing cutout in counter, cooling fans are very quiet compared to our old unit. Highly recommend this cooktop

everyone is envious ;-). So, I hit a snug. I ordered a fantastic oven, but didn't realize how it will fit in my newly renovated galley kitchen. Than I had a new countertop installed. Than I realized that there simply isn't enough space between the top of the new stove and the bottom of the countertop to fit my existing cook-top. oh no!!! So I turned to the internet to search for a cook-top that will fit in about 3-inches from top of the countertop - and that is how I found the Empava Induction Cook-top. I read on, and found that I will have to update all my pots and pans (well, not all, but most)... I spoke with friends and not many had much experience with it, but I plunged in regardless. I'm so glad I did. From the very moment I opened the shipping box I was enamored by its sleek design, and solid construction. [[you know when you buy something that wasn't constructed with care: sharp corners, gaps between parts, stripped or missing screws, etc..]] -- this is NOT the case here! Every corner lines up, every screw tight and straight, surfaces that didn't have to be painted actually are <- attention to detail. Even though the unit is light, it is build solid! Installation instructions were clear and it was a breeze! Forgive the dust in the pictures; but I wanted to capture/share right away why I'm so impressed - you see, it is constructed so well, that I was inspired to mimic it, and despite others telling me that it can't/shouldn't be done, I went ahead and sunk it into the countertop. If the unit wasn't constructed well enough, this would have failed, but instead, you can hardly see the light at the joint (under the straight blade) - that is absolutely FANTASTIC! Oh, and when I finally got the correct cookware - wow! -- now all my friends are envious. Some even volunteered to cook for me - woot! woot! Do yourself a favor - buy it !

Amazing Cooktop!. We had a flat cooktop for the past 12 years when it suddenly quit working. The old cooktop was no longer serviceable and we wanted to buy a replacement for it. We found this cooktop on-line at Lowe's. It had the simplest design. My 88 year old mother lives with us and has learned to use this. Now here is the amazing part, we thought this would cook like our old cooktop, but instead we had the new experience of an induction cooktop! Wow! Food cooks so quickly and heat is distributed evenly! The cooktop is very easy to understand and very easy to clean. Burners cool so quickly after you are done cooking. What an energy saver for sure! Highly recommend!

Looks good and works good. I am waiting for a response from Emparva as when I tried to register the unit the web form will not allow Canadian address to be entered. I know the warranty is US based but if I can't even register it that does not bode well for future service should the unit fail. Hopefully this will be resolved and I can up the rating. Update: Emparva emailed a response the next day and has assured me that the warranty is in effect. The cooktop performs very well. Now to see if it stands the test of time

Great product for the money. This cooktop has changed our lives! It heats evenly and quickly. We did have to get used to it and burned food the first couple of times using it. It is nice though, now we are used to it, our food doesn't stick in the pans. My husband was able to install it with little difficulty (we had to cut our hole a little bigger). The digital, touch controls are easy to use. I love the lock feature. We have 5 grandchildren and they can't use the stove or accidentally turn the eye up when it's in use. I would highly recommend this cooktop!
