Great range!. Beautiful range hood! Does exactly what we need it to do! It's beautiful and easy to clean! Also the install was very easy my husband was able to do it on his own in under an hour. Mind you he is an handyman, so please take caution and ask for help if needed. The fan is not too loud but it really pulls smoke when cooking . The light is perfect. Love the removable grills; easy for cleaning with they get too greasy. Also dishwasher safe so that's a bonus!

Two times the Charm. This is the second time I have purchased this range hood. I redid my kitchen in my previous house 5 years ago. The installation was easy. The light comes on and off with an easy touch. The light is just the right amount for the stove area. it is also great for illuminating the kitchen area in the night time. The clock is easy to adjust. The fan is a little loud, but it works great if you need to clear out the steam or smoke. It has held of up fabulous in my other kitchen. I loved the style and quality of this range hood so much so, that I purchased this again for my new kitchen in my new house. It looks classy and is the perfect balance for my kitchen. Poor installation. Model EMPV-30RH06. I am pretty handy but this hood is a pain to install mainly because the instructions are so poorly written. How expensive would it be for Empava to create a video showing installation? I think I understand how they want me to fix the adjustable inner duct cover but if I follow their instructions I won't be able to install the adjustable duct cover flush to the ceiling because you have to leave room enough to get a screw driver in between the top of the duct cover and your ceiling, Maybe it is not supposed to touch the ceiling?

Range hood instruction. The range hood was easy to install. Wish the lights were a little brighter. But the main issue was how to go from military time to standard time was confusing, and setting the timer as well. I finally had to google it

The install took about 10 minutes, 30 minutes if you include removing the old one and patching up some paint that got peeled.The fan is quiet as well. On low I had to check to make sure it was running, on high the fan is more audible, but still fairly quiet

Noisy. We bought this online at Lowes.com. It came in a few days, but the box was dented on one of the corners. Inside all seemed to be OK, but it was not quiet like other reviewers wrote. Perhaps it was damaged. We returned it for full credit

All steel. I had to replace my old range hood because the vent area was made of plastic and melted. This new design is all stainless steel so I should not have that problem again

Powerful Range Hood.. We have just remodeled our kitchen and the Empava under cabinet range hood is a good addition, looks very elegant and has a lot of power

This is a very nice range hood and it fit our new kitchen beautifully. The only issue we've noticed is that when you turn it to the highest setting it has a rattle where the duct covers meet but other than that it's great and works very well.

Works well, but room for improvement. The hood does move air very well which is great for what we wanted but is a bit noisy. Not a huge deal breaker since i only seem to need it on for a couple minutes. I also cant seem to figure out how to set the time in standard time, it stays in military time. Pretty good. A few things could be improved.. This is a pretty good inexpensive range hood. I didn't find installation very difficult, but I'm pretty handy, and I was willing to make a few minor changes. The instructions that come with the hood are not much help. I couldn't figure out what a few pieces of hardware are even for, especially those exploding anchors. The screws that fasten to the underside of the cabinet are, of course, way up in the unit and there isn't much space to maneuver. My advice is to toss the screws Empava sends and instead get yourself a few "pocket hole" screws with a square drive and washer head and a long driver. This makes it easy to hold the screw on the end of the driver and drive it into the underside of the cabinet without having to use two hands. The unit works well, if a bit noisy. I like the mechanical push buttons that are unlikely to break. 500 CFM will suck away most of the smoke or vapor from the stovetop but not quite all. I wish Empava had deburred the edges of the baffles. I've bloodied my hands more than once while taking these apart to clean. Those baffles do work well, however, which I can see by the amount of grease collected in them each time I take them out. All in all, I'm pleased. It was an inexpensive unit and it works well

It is easy to clean and so far I'm happy with my purchase. I like the light it has. It is the only light I use when I wake up in the mornings. I like the feature it has b4 turning it off. It usually turns off after a minute

Installed Empava Range Hood - Beautiful. I have finished the glass tile where the range hood is now installed and it looks amazing. Very contemporary and looks great with the glass tile. Fan is a little loud at the highest level. The only real downside is that the time on the front is in military time and I dont see anything in the instructions in how to change this

The suction power is so strong, my Smoke detector is very sensitive, I have to change the microwave to Professional range hood, this is really works, worth the money, recommend
