Very Nice Product!. I bought the Empava under the cabinet range hood for a kitchen remodel and couldn't be more than pleased. It's very sturdy and well made. Very beautiful! Dual fans make it a powerful exhaust fan! It's a little bit noisy but like I mentioned, “dual fans”. The lighting is definitely sufficient. It is narrower than the 36” opening and will require some trim work but not a deal breaker for myself. Exact measurement is 35 3/8”. It's pretty self explanatory but for those less inclined instructions could be improved. All in all I'm very pleased!

It's thin and looks amazing and works great. I absolutely love this range hood! We purchased this one for the thin feature after returning another one. The 5inch height is so thin and makes a huge difference as most others are 10 inch. It opens the space up so much and looks so sleek. Lights are bright and fan is strong and works well. Just bought this new hood for my new kithchen. Love love love it! bought the stove top first and realized i needed the hood .. thank God thye had that to match . it looks great adds the perfect amount of ligth iat night while i cook. I bought the Empava 36" range hood. It's by far the slimmest hood with this kind of suction power. It has 2 large blower/motors on it that are about as quiet as you're going to get with this volume of air being moved. Seems solidly built, the filters are well-fitting and lock in tight, they should be easy to clean out in the dishwasher. Controls are straight forward. Overall looks great and I think it will be a daily-use item in my kitchen for years to come - I like it.

The screws that come with it for under-cabinet mounting are too small for the job and we had to upgrade them to something larger. We ended up drilling new holes to add more screws for support. The lights are VERY dim - and only useful as a night-light. Completely inadequate for lighting the cook surface. We don't find it to be any more noisy than any other fan. Emprava 36" ducted hood vent. This hood vent is very well made. When turned on it does not make a lot of noise and does a great job of suctioning all the steam from cooking. I also think that i purchased this hood vent for a very fair price

Mesa, AZ. Disappointed. Unclear description. Was not compatible with our 1967 house. It is ducted, but round 8 in. The rectangular opening could not be adapted--we look for parts everywhere. Returned for that reason. Wayfair customer service was excellent

Empava 36" Range Hood. Well built, excellent looking 36" range hood. Two fans move a lot of air quickly through 6" ductwork. If you are installing yourself, read all directions, measure carefully, and have the tools you will need before starting. The unit is 40-50 lbs. so have a helper!

It does hood the range. Bought this one since it was less effort than cleaning my old one. The new one wasn't warped like the old one was. So it almost covered the paint spot. The box it comes in was the perfect height for balancing hood for installation. Would buy again in another 10 years if available

VERY Loud. It looks nice and I like the slim look to it. I read the reviews before I purchased and noticed some complaints of loudness. Didn't think it could be that bad, BOY WAS I WRONG. I have an open kitchen and living room layout and the TV can't be heard over the sound of the vent when it's turned on. I can't help but wonder if the reviews on this site is for two different models. I have the push button hood vent. Seriously considering sending it back!

This fan can move enough CFM's to qualify as commercial & yet price was in-line with a residential model… bright lights, no annoying remotes that do nothing or writing that will rub off & perfect profile as the rest hung way too low. Forever filters that you can wash in the dishwasher! I did a TON of research & am EXTREMELY pleased with my choice

Installatoin required two people and some minor electrical knowledge (our old hood was direct wired, and this hood came with an electical plug, so a box had to be installed). Otherwise, it went in fairly easily. It works well, although the overhead lights are not very bright
