Flashforge AD5X – Multicolor 3D Printer for High-Speed, Full-Color

Ad5m pro/AD5X.. I have both and love them, They work for me brilliant time after time. I have printed things I need and things I dont..lol. im like a kid in a sweet shop and im 65

Quality Product Easy to Use. Very easy to assemble, easy to maintain. Just make sure to use quality filament or you will encounter lots of feed errors

[200+ print hours]. I have used multiple types from maker bot, bambu, any cubic, etc from school and work over the past 10 years. The quality of the prints to the price is incredible and I would still buy it again if i knew what i know now then. I have enhanced my AD5X with the enclosure, camera, modded in the led bar, and have been printing TPU 95A, ABS, and PLA. I have only needed to replace the nozzle once, and had to replace the nozzle fan and 4-in-1 tube from some self inflicted mistakes. Their are a few headaches i have been having with my AD5X specifically with the IFS. I have only had 1 out of the 15 instances be successful with the IFS swapping to the next role of the same material and color of flashforge abs pro. Usually an overnight print I come back to seeing it have filament jam. And it is unable to load in the next spool on the IFS as the abs sitting in the nozzle overnight has jammed it completely. The other headache ive find is when I need to manually extrude filament like calibrating the set **** on the side of the nozzle by sending 100mm through the nozzle. When I set the temperature of the nozzle and then select extrude 100mm it starts cooling down the nozzle instead of staying at the desired temp. The other headache I have is it requiring to be homed before moving every time. Even if it just homed itself from a load/unload filament. Last headache i can think of with the AD5X is eventhough it supports a lot of filamebts, the IFS display only jas so many filaments you can select to load. I hope it gets an "advance" menu that allows for more filament loading. Software wise, its just orca slicer with advertising. I see it as a downside that they dont just make it just orca, but its serviceable. Things this does really well, the color switching is great, its not too loud, print quality and speed is great. The ability to print by usb is great. My multicolor and multimaterial prints have all turned out well. I would recommend this printer if your looking for similar style of printer with single nozzle, multi color, and multi material. Looking forward to the c5p.

I really like it. I am still learning how to use it but it's really fun to use and make the 3d prints on. Especially since I have never used a 3d printer before now. These are just a few of the prints I have done. And I was able to fill in the eyes even though. it didn't have it before I did the print

ADX5. Works right out the box 2025 i purchased my printer.. Works great 600hrs no problems Perfect for beginners and Educational. Kids+ Some updates are good and some are ehh. But In the end the printer runs great

Awesome Printer I trully recomend. Buy without doubts. The Flash Forge AD5X printer is sensational! I've already printed several things and tested various models; it practically doesn't need adjustments, and the projects are of extremely high quality. The print quality is also extremely high, and the production time is short. The software works perfectly. So I only have praise for the 3D printer. I am truly very satisfied and fulfilled with this purchase. The four filaments help a lot during printing without needing to manually change colors, and the IFS system is very practical; I can go to sleep and come back the next day, and the color print of my object is complete! I highly recommend it; there's no doubt it will be the best choice for family fun and having various practical, personalized uses for your daily life and your home. Just buy it, you won't regret it!

Best Multi-Filament Printer HANDS DOWN. This is my first 3D printer and I have to say, it did not disappoint. I have had this now going on almost a month and I am enjoying every second of it so far. I did months of research and went back and forth for a while on which one to get as far as which brand and which model. What options was I wanting and what was I wanting to actually print. For me, I liked the side mounted option for the filament rolls and not having to swap out and back in different colors. The IPS is a great addition and works flawlessly. This appealed to me greatly as I read most people disliked the lack of this feature on other printers. The main thing that sold it for me was the price compared to similar printers that did essentially the same thing. Yes, I know the Bambu Labs has a larger build plate and a more established community, but DO NOT sleep on this printer or Flashforge as a whole. They make a great printer. Right out of the box, I was up and printing my first Benchy in about 10 to 15 mins. Setup was a pretty simple. I could have gone wifi but since I set this up in my office and have an ethernet switch nearby, I went with the hard wired option. Orca-Slicer is pretty simple and easy to understand but do your research. Watch some videos on Youtube and get familiar with how to print, especially with multi filament printers. Be realistic with what this printer can do and be ready to accept that it will take some time and effort on your part to understand it all. As of this writing, I have just about 200 print hours in and I am still learning so be patient with yourself and your printer. I would HIGHLY recommend this printer to anyone who is just starting out but wants room to grow. All in all, this is hands down the best 3D printer for the money

Took a gamble and won.... I was looking for a good, reliable 3D printer that would not break the bank. This is when I came across the AD5X. I was a little skeptical at first, but I decided to place an order for the AD5X and the enclosure kit. The AD5X arrived a week or two later. After unboxing the printer, I found that the printer had arrived very well packaged. The accessories were packed in between the foam inserts. Setup was extremely easy and it involved removing all the foam padding, removing the screws which held the print bed in place for shipping installing, plugging in the IFS system & connecting the 4-in-1 nozzle to the extruder. Once the printer was setup, I printed the mandatory benchy. The benchy printed without any problems. After printing the benchy, I printed a bed scraper and a mini tool holder for a friend. All the items I printed turned out great and had no issues. Since I bought the printer, I have gone on and printed numerous other items, which have all turned out great. All in all the AD5X is a good printer for a fraction of the price

Really awesome printer. I have been printing with the ad5x now for 4 days straight. No issues and prints coming out great! Pla and petg have had no issues. Changes filaments automatically! My one star removed is for the way the sales reps respond to questions. Very rude. I hope if I need tech support it will be better

Wow. So just starting my 3d printing journey , a little late to the game but better time than ever . For a beginner this machine is super easy to setup and use , there is a learning curve when generating 3d models and creating your own ideas but with 100s of 1000s of premade options already online you can slowly learn to adjust and create . The enclosure kind of bugged me , I bought the system with enclosure thinking it’d have the brackets as well but it’s a self print kit . Still useful but will be a two day project printing out what I need to install the enclosure . You can also add all devices from the a5 pro like cam and fans , the electrical connections are still on the mobo , this is what sold me on the ad5x over similar models . It seems that flash forge encourages customization and diy options at the customer level allowing you to custom Taylor your device for your own wants or needs

Kind of noisy compared to other printers I have, but a great printer!. This is my first FlashForge printer. I have 4 Creality brands both old and new, but heard great things about FF so "threw my hat into the ring" as the old folks say. The bad first, which isn't necessarily bad, but I find it noisier and clunkier sounding than my Creality printers. I thought that something was wrong, but it prints beautifully! I don't know if it's greased from the factory so I did grease up the axis screws and slides with the grease provided. The setup was easy, just took a bit of time. The software/firmware worked great, no errors. I bought the package with the camera but the camera came a day or two later. I didn't know this, I thought they forgot to include it, but customer service was quick to tell me that logistically, the package deals may ship separately, and that's fine, i just wish it was said ahead of time. Here's a pic of the neapolitan colored benchy I printed. Came out perfect!

This Thing is GREAT!. I purchased this unit about a week ago and once my teenager got into it, it hasn't stopped being used.. its printing non-stop. Very easy to set up, really easy to get running, and it has made clean prints. This was my first machine and I found some fantastic you-tube tutorials. I am in love with this machine, were all having a blast with it

Flashforge AD5X 3D Printer – A Great First Printer With Impressive Results. This Flashforge AD5X is my very first 3D printer, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Setup was easy, and I was up and printing in no time. As a beginner, I appreciated how straightforward everything felt right out of the box. So far, the printer has performed flawlessly. I’ve printed everything from articulated dragons and fidget toys for my grandchildren to RC truck accessories, and every print has come out great. The multi-color printing capability is a fantastic feature and really brings projects to life. My only real critique is the lack of user control over purge settings between color changes. The purge system creates quite a bit of filament waste, and I think Flashforge could greatly improve the experience by giving users the ability to fine-tune those settings. For most multicolor prints, waste could be reduced significantly with a bit more control. Overall, I’m extremely satisfied with the AD5X. It’s beginner-friendly, reliable, and produces high-quality prints. I would absolutely purchase this printer again and recommend it to anyone looking for a great entry-level machine with advanced features

Amazing printer. Slicing software could be a little bit more easier to use, I find it a shame that there is no modricated software for designing if there is I can't find it it's not built in I don't think I would like to add certain objects to the STL file but I am restricted with what it can do. Overall I'm really happy how the machine prints but the problem is there is two much waste especially of the filaments especially if you have a multicolored print if they could be some further development on an adaptive tool head which got old the filaments separately instead of withdrawing one filament at the time and then adding the correct color responding to the print and one print, colored it took over 92 hours I was absolutely a shocked the waste was almost 1 kilo I think that is a little bit absurd

Really like my printer. I have been using my printer none stop since I received it. It had a few errors come up but got fixed within a few minutes. One thing to be mindful of is to keep everything clear if the axis limit can't be reached the belt will jump. It has a balance of cost to quality

Great start to 4 colour printing. The AD5X is a great start for 4 colur printiing. Easy to unpack, setup and start straightaway. The stl files for the enclosure are very good and I recomend extending the fopur top pieces to 40mm high to miss the tubes when printing. The Enclosure Kit provides the Acrylic Panels and extra mounting screws. All easy to do and very smart

Better than the AD5M. I was introduced to flash forge with the AD5M and it was a love at first print. I was ready to make the jump into multicolor around the same time the AD5X was announced and I was glad I held out for it. The quality coming out of this printer right out of the box is better than the quality from the AD5M. Yes, I still have both printers and yes, I would still recommend either one of these fabulous printers. (The video makes it sound louder that it is in real life and this is 2 printers going if I didnt have my AD5M going its alot quieter)

Great Printer at a Great Price. This is a great printer for anyone, newbe to pro. Unpacked it and was doing 4 color printing within minutes. 1st print was the Koi that is in the printer memory, printed flawlessly. The only negative I can say is that there is much **** as it changes color, so if you are printing multi color, load the build plate with as many models as you can. Same **** for 1 as for 25 of any item

AD5X Review. I love this printer, it is so good, the IFS is amazing. It prints in multi colour perfectly, this is so easy to use and the touch screen is good. You can get updates. We had a problem where the printer froze while the printer was printing so Flashforge sent out an update to fix this. The customer service is brilliant and the software and the app work perfectly. AWESOME!. The AD5X is an awesome 3D Printer. I owned the 5M Pro before this and I also love that printer. Both are great. It would be awesome if theyd include either the camera or the cover for it though. But the printer itself is the best, no problems yet. P.s. I did have a power outage towards the end of a 3d print, I am so grateful for the software, it didnt lose its spot and no mistakes after continuing! And I was already and Orca Slicer user, I love the orca flashforge!!

Amazing printer. I'm really happy with the ADX5, it makes beautiful prints right of the box, this paired with a little experience can make really good prints and results. The auto filament loading really makes my life easier and helps me do longer projects without needing to be in the same room

Simply put, amazing!. I’ve had many filament printers but this is the first that does most of the little tasks for you. Self bed leveling, bed and nozzle temp based on specific filament used, the AD5X does it all for you. Very easy to set up and easy to slice files to print! Will probably purchase another one soon!

Super for beginers. It's very easy to use, plug and play. The printing quality is above my expectations

Great for beginners. Being a newbie to 3D printing, I found the flashforge AD5X to be easy to set up, easy to manage and great in price. I have no complaints. I have been printing none stop. The best part of this all is it is quite since my only option for placement was my bedroom I found I can let it run all night with out an issue. The software work goo orca flashforge and I’m able to see the progress on my phone. I have installed my own security camera to watch the progress which has been the best decision made. I made the best decision to get the AD5X. Thank you so much

3D Multicolor Printer Game Changer!. I've been a 3D printing hobbyist since 2005. Upgrading to a new printer every 5 years. I was just looking for filament when an ad for the Flashforge AD5X popped up. Price point seemed too good to be true for a 4 color printer, but I figured, why not? So it just "jumped" into my cart and has been printing continuously since it arrived 2 weeks ago. Amazingly fast. Self leveling saves time, headaches and stress. Perfect layers which become perfect prints. I've had a few filament jams, but these are all my bad for using old, brittle filament. But the silver lining is that it forced me to learn how to disassemble the print head/extruder assembly to clear the jam. (Thank you YouTube!) Hint - When you get your printer, make sure to 3D print replacement PTFE clips. The file may be found on Makerworld.com. It is good to have extra clips, just in case yours gets lost or broken, and the clip that you print is much easier to remove and replace than the one that comes with the printer. The other downside, which I think is the case for all single extruder, multicolor 3d printers is the "****"/filament purging... SO MUCH! 2 to 3 times the weight of the printed object. I've been testing and tinkering and watching YouTubes to see how to minimize the purging... Still, this is the best 3D printer I've owned, at a price that won't break the bank. She's a beast. Mine came with 4 random colors to get me started. They came in seperate packages. So far were not sendig this unit back we are sending our creativity to to the moon. No complaints. it did jam once early on but cleared that. and shes running great. reccomend using the level option every time. its worked for me so far and takes a few minutes to ensure even though you leveled it last time, you know this time its level too. Ony complaint. The printer ****. (purge chunks) should have came with a solution to handle that . they jut **** out the back and fly every where. not cute. a mess. It could have a simple bin that slides in and catches them and routes them to the side. there are STL's out there for this but i mean come on. straight on the ground. 4 colors. purging constant. thats a slip and trip hazard lol. other than that. The ony thing i could ask for is a dual sided bed. on smooth pei the other textured, I got a textured one that works fine

Very Impressive. I am so glad I did my research on the latest 3d printers on the market. I upgraded from an Ender 3s1 to the AD5X and what a difference. Still learning about 3MF printing but the printer is so easy to use and makes perfect models every time. Great job Flashforge!!!

Best new printer experience I've had in 14 years. Performed my first multicolor print within 45 minutes of opening the box. Still learning the software, I created my first model and 4 color print within the first 24 hours of receiving the printer. Setup was easy, very detailed instructions made things go quickly. Used existing Flashforge PLA profiles with filament I already had on hand, worked perfectly. Dimensional accuracy is outstanding, files I would have normally been sanding to fit work perfectly now.

Great little printer so far!. Great little printer so far, only had it for a day. But it churned out everything I've thrown at it so far without complaint. Thoughts so far... Shipping: Received nearly a month EARLIER than expected. Thank you! Setup: Incomplete instructions in the box, but found them online. (What's the **** hole for on the top of the extruder...?) Multi Material: So far so good. It does what is says, including multi color TPU prints. Filament swaps are very slow though. The IFS doesn't seem to be very robust, but only time will tell. I wish the spool holders were labeled in such a way that you can see which is which after the holders are installed. (Move the labels up 20~30mm?) Print size: Smaller than "average" these days, but perfectly acceptable. I have other printers that can print bigger if needed, and I seldom do need bigger. Noise: Fans aren't bad, much quieter than an Elegoo Centuri Carbon. But when print repetitive small features, the drive mechanism sounds very "klunky", making a harsh racket on fast short moves. Software: It seems the Orca-Flashforge fork is the way to go. All the same options, at first use, as regular Orca. I couldn't get regular Orca to correctly interface, but I didn't spend a lot of time trying to figure it out. FF recommends Orca in multi printer setups so it must be possible. But again, the Orca-FF slicer works great. Bottom line, after 10 hours of print time in one day, it's a buy

Awesome machine! Works very well and is easy to use. Though, I'd like to have option for quicker filament changes. I know it's built for quality, but sometimes a little less quality and more speed would be desired.

Impressed New Flashforge Customer. What attracted me to the AD5X was its promise of 4 color printing in a CoreXY for such a low introductory price. I am already the owner of 2 other multi-material multi-color printers, on a bed slinger and the other a CoreXY. I also have several varied brands of FDM bed slingers. I am not new to 3D Printing. I was very impressed with the ease in which this unit set up and was printing so quickly. I did not time the setup, but it was quicker than any of my other 9 printers. And the first prints from the onboard storage of the AD5X were perfect in single and multi-color. I am so impressed I ordered 4 extra build plates, extra nozzle, camera, and enclosure kit immediately. When I ran into a problem after 2 firmware updates, the after-sales support team quickly helped me solve the issue and get me printing again. Great printer. Bought it to have a as hands off printer as possible, and truly it is just that. Looking forward to be able to get the smaller nozzels and casing. The only negative is that it is a little noisy (due to the speed, which is incredible).

Great and easy to use.You have to use Orca-Flashforge!. It's been working great so far but I did had a hiccup with the IFS. I reached to customer service and they are sending me a new IFS unit. In the meantime I'm currently working on two color prints so I'm not using all four channels (1 and 4 were giving errors so I'm using 2 and 3)

Got myAD5X earlier than expected. Got my AD5X last week ahead of schedule. It has been performing perfectly. It’s my 2nd Flashforge printer. My 1st was the AD5M, which also has been working flawlessly as well

Sinon montage en 15 mn et la mise en route pareil. L'imprimante a l'air solide. Dommage que la fermeture partielle de l'imprimante ne soit pas en option. I love my Flashforge (AD5M & AD5X). I added this AD5X to my AD5M, I've been 3D printing for just over 10 years. I have had a self assembled printerbot (makerbot), Anet a6, Ender3 Neo. Purchased my AD5M in Dec. 2024, and bought the AD5X 2025 (soonest I could since first round was sold out). Both these printer have been work horses, print everything I throw at them. For a seasoned 3D print enthusiast, this is the printer to get, it prints fast and reliable

I find the operation of the machine intuitive it’s a great machine for the price flash forge. Support is very responsive even for trivial questions.

HOLY CRAP! The Noise Is Fixed.... I already had a A5M work horse running 12+ hours per day so reliably that I had to get the new AD5X and I just received it today! DAMMMN!! The loud fan noise is not there anymore, they changed something with the fans because the noise is 90% less than what it was with the A5M. I don't understand why nobody is talking about that. Using A each day everyday and now testing A/B... I can say that they listened to the noise complaints about the fans I have them both running now while writing this and the A5M sound like a jet, I can berely hear the AD5X. Massive monster improvement! They have to put a decibel test update comparaison on their website. Other than that, I would say it was super easy to put together from opening the box 15-20 mins total I was already printing the token. You just feed the filament in the hole and it automaticly take it and load it. Super nice machine! I am super impressed for the price this is an absolute unit. I started 3d printing a month ago... I already have the house full of gadgets and stuff, I started using freecad and other cad softwares to design my own stuff. I'm already level 15 on printables this is such a fun hobby and it's so practical I just love it alot and I highly recommend the AD5X to a newbie who never printed before up to the farming setup pro. It's just an absolute unit! Highly recommended. A++

Drama-Free Unboxing, Instant Print Perfection. My new FlashForge AD5X 3D printer has arrived and, honestly, it's already a superstar. Despite its rather undignified current setup – precariously rocking on a cardboard box in a temporary location – its print quality and speed are simply phenomenal. My heavily-modded SV01, boasting a Raspberry Pi, Klipper, an updated motherboard, new steppers, hotend, and a 0.6mm nozzle (and weeks of my life in tweaking!), typically manages a passable Benchy in 58 minutes. Imagine my delight when the AD5X, fresh out of the box (after printing its initial FF coin), spit out a high-quality Benchy in a mind-blowing 33 minutes! This was literally its first real print, with only basic 'Speedboat' profile adjustments. The quality is so far beyond my other printer, it’s not even funny. From unboxing to that first print, the whole process was incredibly fast and blessedly drama-free. I did have a brief moment of 'firmware update anxiety' as it initially just sat at 'checking for updates,' but like magic, it updated perfectly to firmware 1.1.1 the very next morning. My only actual complaint so far is the touchscreen; others have mentioned its nonresponsiveness, and with my 'man-sized' fingers, I often can't tell if it's lagging or if I just missed the target. But since I'm not a huge fan of screen controls anyway, I'm already dreaming of future mods and getting Mainsail running. There's much more to learn, but truly, I'm already completely in love with this printer!

Really Impressive Printer. This printer is so easy to setup. We were printing our first project within maybe 15 minutes out of the box. We bought this printer for the kids to use on a daily basis. We have been very impressed with the way they designed the IFS system. I haven't yet figured out how to paint a project in Orca-FlashForge, but I'm working on that. Like I said, very impressed with the quality prints. We liked this printer so much, we ordered another one for my son to take with him to college in August. I also love the price point, can't beat the price we paid, $369 is such a bargain for this printer with multi-color/multi-material printing. The only things I would like to see for this printer is an enclosure (I think one is coming), and extruder and flow calibration are not available on this printer out of the box (not sure if there is a way to add this or even perform without in being included). I would also like to see the ability to utilizes more colors in a print, while 4 colors is great, sometimes having a few more colors would be nice. Other than that, and even despite those shortcomings, I really love this print and would recommend it over any competitor out there currently (yes I own a BamboLabs printer, X1C to be precious), I also own some Creality printers as well. I would recommend this over BL and Creality if the build plate size is sufficient for what you want to print. If you want a much larger build volume, I would go with K2 Plus. I'm just not that impressed with BL printers especially with the recent direction the company is going, but that doesn't take away the fact that BL really deserves the credit for pushing, probably forcing manufacturers kicking and screaming, to go the route of out of the box experience. Without BL, we would still be in the early days of building and tinkering with our printers. With that said, the AD5X prints great and is easy to use. I did have a larger print with PLA that warped (uneven cooling - hence the want for an enclosure), but this is mainly user error as the printer was right under a A/C vent in the room. For now, the printer has not stopped working, all the kids have projects lined up to go, one after the other...and we have the second one coming in July. I don't know how long the price will remain this low but we saved $180 off the cost of this printer with the $150 off and then an additional $30 off code (basically 33% off the cost of the printer). If you are thinking about this printer, pull the trigger now while introductory pricing is this low

Your first multi print will make it worth buying it.. I own 4 Adventurer 5Ms and have been truely amazed on the reliablity and quality I have recieved from all my machines. I questioned the need for a multi-color printer, but at such an affordable price and already aware of the build quilty Flashforge provides, I went for it on June 9th. It was worth it once my first print completed and I looked over the results. The quality was the same if not better than what the 5M already provided, but now with multi color

A good, affordable multicolor printer, unlike other manufacturers. It's worth buying if you want to get into the multicolor field. Setup is very simple if you follow the steps in the manual and stick to them. The manual is in English and Chinese, but even if you don't fully understand the language, it's well-described with pictures. After removing the printer from the box, all the accessories and attachments are stored inside the printer and protected by foam squares. After removing everything from inside the printer, you'll have the multicolor module, including the PTFE tube guide and bracket, in front of you; it's easy to install. Once you've connected everything and turned on the printer, you have to select the language, and the printer will begin calibrating itself, including performing a vibration test. The filament spool holders are also easy to install; just pay attention to the number to determine which bracket goes where. I think this might have something to do with the multicolor system and/or the retraction, etc. You might be surprised by the red plastic parts that come with it; they're for securing the filament spool once you've pushed it onto the holder. The first test prints with the sample filament were successful, and the Benchy also looked very good. What I find a bit of a shame is that the QR code in the Flashmaker app's manual leads to a Chinese website and doesn't offer a direct download for Android or iOS. I don't have a direct comparison regarding xy printers and their noise levels, but the printer is a bit loud, but it doesn't bother me. My conclusion: A simple multicolor printer for little money and, in my opinion, worthwhile.

Preorder AD5X. Excellent machine. A few bugs here and there as expected with new machine but looking forward to getting the hang of this and churning out quality prints

Perfect addition to my printer collection. Having the ability to print in multiple colors without having to pause and change filament has changed my perspective on 3D printing, I exclusively own Flashforge printers for the ease of printing without complications. Not only does the AD5X print in different colors it is also speedy, puts my original Adventurer 3 to shame. Highly recommended for anyone dipping their toes into 3D printing, well worth the price I paid

Amazing Little Machine. For the price with multi-color, this machine is hard to beat! I had 2 clogs after my initial test print, but the support team was able to help me get everything figured out quickly! The support team is just as amazing as the printer. I can't wait until someone comes up with an enclosure option. My only notes are that the machine is loud, very loud when running at full speed. The size of the IFS should make it possible for the community and Flashforge to come up with something

Easy enough for an eight-year-old to use. My son’s first 3-D printer. He had no problem printing his first benchy all by himself! Highly recommend. Very affordable. Package did say grease and a glue stick would come with, but did not receive that. Also, came with four orange plastic pieces with no directions on what to do with it. For the price of the printer I am not worried about it. Well worth the wait!

Nearly Flawless. The AD5X is an amazing printer. It produces similar quality prints compared to my Bambu Labs A-1 Combo at nearly $200 less. It’s fast, and overall, the IFS works quite well. The only issue I’ve had with 2 of my prints, is that when changing out the colors, the purged filament was not successfully discarded through the “**** chute.” This led to a build up of filament, which caused a blockage, subsequent layer shift and print failure. Other than those two instances, I have had zero issues with the AD5X. I would recommend it

Great printer. This is my second Flashforge printer and am excited to print in multi color. I am new to multi printing so there has been a bit of a learning curve. I do love the results. Have had issues with filament getting tangled on the filament holder. Happy with this printer so far

Love it. As a beginner in 3d printing this machine is awesome. Took about 15 mins to unpack and get setup. The software is easy to use. My first print was toothless, painting the ares I wanted different colors was a breeze. I would recommend this to other beginners that want to be a hobbyist or start a farm

AD5X Poop. Early adopter of the AD5X, Early impressions are it prints just as well as my Adventurer 5M, but there are slight issues with the poop scoop aspect. In particular, the metal scoop sticks out slightly too far (about 1mm) and obstructs the printing plate raising. This appears to be a tolerance issue on manufacturing, (or possibly a slight movement with the rear chassis during shipping?) and I am sure it will be sorted. Removing the white buffer plate on the activation lug on the print head appears to have resolved it temporarily, hopefully a slight software fix will leave the print head about 1mm further forward and that will let the scoop activation lever move the 1mm required and leave the scoop slightly futher back

Mulicolor is finally here!. I print and sell miniature Price is Right games. They are usually several colors so when I designed them I had to print them in parts that I would then put together. This printer allows me to have a solid print that has several colors. I learned to have the different colors raised on different levels from each other or they run together. The software is super confusing and there is absolutely a learning curve, but once I get the hang of it, it will solve many issues. When I heard Flashforge was releasing a multicolor printer, I expected the price to be 2-3x what it is. At this price, it is absolutely worth a try, even if you only ever print one color at a time. It seems to print a little smoother than the other Adventurers that I own

Great printer, filling a gap in the market!. This is my second Flashforge printer. I chose Flashforge at first for its ease of use (especially the quick change nozzle) and the possibility of modification. I always wanted a multi-color printer for special projects, but I didn't need a closed printer like the competition does and I wanted to stay coreXY. When I saw that Flashforge was releasing the AD5X, I jumped at the opportunity. I'm not disappointed. You can see several elements that have been improved between the 5M and the AD5X like the print head cover, the interface and some elements on the frame. I had some issues at the beginning, but the support team was very responsive and my problems are solved. The print quality is excellent. I am very satisfied

Flawless Victory! Absolutely a five star!. Even with the slight delay, which I appreciate, especially to fix an issue, this printer is spot on! The ease of use and the fact that you can now print 4 color! Right out of the box as always, Flashforge is my go to brand! And printer! This is a beautiful and easy to use printer!

My opinion about AD5X. It's hard to say anything about a machine I don't know well yet so soon after purchasing it, but I'll try to tell you what I noticed. The printer came well packed and secured with all the necessary parts for its assembly, but I missed detailed instructions on how to assemble the machine. The instructions that were included are too modest and not very detailed. Something in the form of an instructional video would be useful. When I bought Adventure 5MPRO, the set included grease for linear guides, which was not included here... does the AD5X not need to be lubricated? Another thing that puzzles me is how and with what to catch the ejection of used unnecessary melted filament, since when we want to put a box there, the 220V machine power cord gets in the way. And a very irritating thing is the possibility of turning off the machine only from the power switch located at the back of the machine. Another thing that is worth considering is the possibility of choosing color shades in the case, for example, when we have dark and light green filament installed. That's all of my first observations for now

Handhabung ist gut gelungen, die Verkleidung LED-Leiste und Kamera habe ich noch hinzugekauft, um einen richtigen Drucler daraus zu machen. Damit liegt der Kaufpreis noch immer deutlich unter 500€, damit vernünftiger Preis. Die Abwertung: beworben wurde der Drucker explizit für Multicolor TPU-Druck, lt aktueller Spezifikation auf der globalen Seite (nicht EU/Deutsch) wurden sämtliche Einträge zu TPU entfernt, damit eine wesentliche Spezifikation gegenüber dem Kaufzeitpunkt verändert

1st 3D Printer. This is my first 3D printer purchase. I did a LOT of research on the different types of 3D printers and am pleased with this purchase and the results I am getting. Love it!. So I am new to the 3D printing scene so I don't have anything to compare this against. But as a complete newbie I have to say this printer is great! It's very easy to set up with minimal construction required and easy to follow instructions. The on screen UI is very easy to use. Instructions are easy to follow. Loading & unloading the filament is a very quick and simple process. The slicer software is pretty straight forward and I had no issues using it. Even making printing adjustments (eg. Slowing down the print speed) was straight forward. Mobile app is very easy to use too! Print quality is very good and beyond what I was expecting! I have recommended it to so many people already and always try to find a reason to use the printer! Customer service has been great and very helpful

Works good, with minor issues. Easy to setup, great price and very nice quality Only issue is the nozzle clogging with silk filament when combined with regular PLA. Silk prints fine on its own though. You will get color bleed as it can't clear out all the silk before printing the next color.Easy to setup. great price and very nice quality

I really love it becouse it is easy to use and had only one problem ever that was my falt becouse on Orca Slicer I had selected the wrong printer and it did not want to connect to my commputer. AD5X. Great little machine, if not a bit noisy on the Z Axis, works nearly everytime, but I must admit I work it like a slave. The few mishaps I cannot really complain about, and with a little tweaking most of all were resolvable. Have bought a second one and pre ordered the new Creator 5 Pro, and I can't wait to give that a run for its money. Highly recommend for a great machine that is good for home and business. I upgraded with the Enclosure Kit. Doesn't really soundproof much but its good t keep the print environment dust free and at a manageable temperature. I also bought the led lamp for it, great piece of kit, easy to instal but I think the machine should have come with a light, and to be honest, their camera as an extra, isn't really worth it unless you only need it to monitor whats going on, the quality isn't that great. I also won a Prusa Core One and Elegoo Neptune Pro, both very different from the flashforge. But I own 3 Flashforges, so that also says alot too

Great machine for the money.. I have only used Flashforge machines and the AD5X was my 2nd. It is a great working machine except for the filament waste. I only had 1 clog in the time I had it which was easy to remove. I just ordered the Creator 5 and Creator 5 pro and cant wait to receive them. I then will have 4 Flashforge machines. You cant go wrong with this printer for the cost

I’ve had the AD5X for 3 months and it has been a great printer but not without some issues. First, the printer works as advertised! It’s fast and the color swapping is great. The printer waste is what you’ll expect. The problem is that the heating element died in the middle of a print. This necessitated having to change out the heating element. Fortunately, I had bought the heating element and found a video on YouTube that showed how to do the swap. It now works as new. This the downside of 3D printing. The owner has to be their own repair person. While 3D printers have come a long way in the last few years, this is still an issue that needs addressing by the industry. Most users just want to print, not repair their equipment. That said, the AD5X is worth the price I paid for it. It works and works well. As a hobby I like using it and would buy it again. It’s well made and probably not alone as I think what I said applies to any 3D printer on the market. Be prepared for the learning curve that 3D printing requires. It’s still a fun hobby and for those who want to make a living selling their creations a real possibility.

This is great !!. I have only printed out a few things. I do not know much about technology I am bad with computers but this was pretty decent to figure out. Only one thing I wish it had was to be able to print either from your phone or your tablet. Unless there is a way and I haven’t figured it out yet. Their orca slicing app does not work on phones or tablets. Overall it was an easy set up. Shipping was fast. And from what it seems, looks like a pretty well-made sturdy printer

Great Machine. Love the 4 color capabilities!. I started with the AD5M and I love it. The AD5X is my 2nd machine in 2 months. I'm planning on a total of 10 machines to start my print farm and doing multicolor products will be slower so I will probably go 50/50 on the AD5M and AD5X being that my plan is to produce single color product as much as possible to which i can do with either machine, but still have multicolor capacity as well! Both machines are great for the money!

As a beginner.... Let me just say, wow! Three days from order to doorstep. Easy setup, and such a huge leap from my Ender 3 clone. Auto levelling is saving me so much time and headache! I also love that I can run this printer over internet, and not have to use a USB stick everytime I want to print something. The slicer software is easy to use, and im not having any issues with it. I see myself using this a lot more than my last printer, that always required fiddling to make work

It's a little loud. Set up was very easy, other than the printer being 5x louder than my Bambu A1, the quality of the prints are great and it's very easy to use. I have not had any wireless issues or slicer issues. For the price, I would recommend. This is by far way better than my Ender 3v2 and my ender 5 Pro

Ad5x. Had it up and running about 15 mins! Got about 60 hrs print time and not a single issue!

Great machine. Got the machine thinking this will be fun, as I have been given two other different brand machines and can get either to work. But lo and behold open the box assemble the machine and haven’t stopped having fun making dinosaurs and other things for the grandkids

I previously had a Flashforge Adventurer 3 and really enjoyed using it, but had a few things I wished were different. The AD5X has solved these for me. I love that I don’t have to fiddle with manually leveling the bed. Also, changing filament is a snap. I am so glad I have the ability to print multiple colors and am having fun learning the Orca-Flashforge software. I’m a fan!

Perfect from first print. This is my first 3D printer and I am so happy I got this one! Set up was well under 10 mins, and the learning curve on the software/app wasn’t bad at all. I had my first print going less than 30 mins from opening the box. The first print turned out PERFECT and I would buy again in a minute!

Excellent first impression. I have been having 3d printers for home use since a decade. Starting from wanhaoo to Enders. This one is a pice of joy to print. Amazingly fast, good prints, super happy. Only concerns is orca flashforge software which is a little unfamiliar to me and as read a little restricted to some options compared to orca origina
