Kamado Joe Half-Moon Fish and Vegetable Grate – Classic Joe

Great for Salmon and Vegetables! I purchased the Half-Moon Fish and Vegetable Grate last Spring and have used it religiously over the past year. Heavy Duty, delivers a wonderful sear and imparts a lightly Smokey flavor to the food. A must have accessory for anyone who owns a Kamado Joe.

Great addition. Great add on so that I can cook fish, vegatables on one side of my Classic III and cook meats on the other side.

Greater for veggies and fish. This can also work as a partial heat deflector, but great for veggies and fish on any level of your grill.

Great accessory for seafood. While I have watched videos of people grilling on the grates or in a pan we used this fish grate accessory which was amazing. Non stick surface, great grill marks on the fish and no way for fish to slip through the cracks which was my biggest worry my first time doing fish and seafood.

A great grate! I've had two of these grates for almost 2 years and could not be happier with their performance making seafood, and veggies. When I am finished with my cook, I wipe them off and pop them in the dishwasher, cleanup is that easy.

Vegetarian wife appreciates this addition. I am a full blown meat smoking addict at this point but my wife is vegetarian. Take it from me, she was a lot more receptive to my incessant meat smoking when I started experimenting with veggies. Pro tip, zucchini, asparagus, and weirdly enough, carrots with a hot honey glaze are delicious and work well as a side.

Stand out accessory for our big Joe. We just started to use this so far we blackened fish and shrimp. And made some wonderful vegetables including our favorite on the grill zucchini. We are loving this accessory.

Stainless grate. Cooks fish perfectly and it doesn’t fall through the grate.

Necessary. We use this a lot! My daughter is a pescatarian so only fish and vegetables. This pretty much stays in our cooker the whole time.

Stainless Grate. Worked very well. Cooked halibut fish and this grate made is much easier to do so.

Better than the rest! I tried a different (cheaper) brand and was disappointed. I should have learned! Same with the KJ rotisserie. KJ products are always much better designed and built. Thanks KJ for putting the effort forth to make quality products for your loyal KJ customers. Love my Classic 3!

Solid surface works great! Happy to diversify my grilling surfaces. The stainless steelHalf moon was a great addition to the KJ grilling surface family.

Perfect for my needs. I found this to be a high quality addition. Holes are small enough that vegetables like onions, peppers get a nice, smokey flavor without falling through.

Essential for veggies and fish. The SS is perfect for fish and veggies.. Salmon with skin on easily slides on and off leaving a crispy skin to the plate. Veggies get nice and crispy without burning or falling through the standard grates.
