Masterbuilt Gravity Series® 800 Cover in Black

Doesn’t last. Lasted one year and one month. Faded quickly and has become so brittle that a hard tap with my finger it tears like it was cut with a knife.

Worst grill cover ever. I have had this grill cover for only 2 years and it has dried out, faded really bad and torn in multiple locations. It's appears to me the wrong material has been chosen for this application. Worst grill cover I ever bought.

The cover is terrible. My cover barely lasted one year. It’s now gray, weathered, and cracked. For the price of my smoker, one would think Masterbuilt would offer a strong and durable cover. My smoker, on the other hand, I LOVE it! I haven’t used my BGE since.

Excellent cover for my Masterbuilt XT. I highly recommend this cover. The cover is made of quality, thick material that fits perfectly over my Masterbuilt XT. I was very happy with this purchase. Much better than what was offered at Lowe's or Home Depot.

Bad quality product. Was faded and brittle before a year was up and now a little over a year later after purchase and it’s ripping apart because it’s so brittle.

Quality material and extreme protection. I live up north where we get lots of snow. My smoker sits outside all winter but I never have to worry about it. I've had it for 4+ seasons now and it still works like new. And the cover has resisted fading, unlike some of the other covers I have for my other grills

Grade - A - Cover! I bought this cover for my Gravity Series 800, and this thing is solid! Made out of great materials and definitely a great fit for my grill. Totally recommend getting this if your gunna purchase the 800 series!

Don't forget your cover. Bought this the same time I bought my smoker. No tears. No damage used regularly and keeps the smoker cleaner and free from dust.

Awesome Cover. Gravity Series cover is so simple to put on and take off. Does an excellent job keeping weather off of grill.

Kind of lasts. I still have my original cover on my 560 from 2019. It is very faded, ripped in one place and the draw cord has basically disintegration, but it still holds and keeps most of the unit covered and safe so I still use it

Protect the MasterBuilt. The 1150 cover is big enough with strings at the bottom to pull and tighten it down. I love the big logo on the front as well

It works! Just simply, it does what it is supposed to do, keep the grill dry. I have not had any dry rotting issues either.

Starts great Weather ruins. Out of the box, it is excellent. After 6 months, the weather in Ohio has ruined. It became discolored, stiff, and tore easily on the latches.

Great cover. I bought this when I bought my grill three years ago and I have to thank this for keeping my grill looking as good as the day I got it.

Tough cover. Good cover - strong material which seems to be holding up so far. Only think I’d say is it didn’t quite reach the ground meaning the castors are exposed. Small knock but overall great product.

Fantastic cover. Lasted 5 years so far no problems. Great cover worth every penny .

Cover it. I bought the cover to protect my grill from day one. 6 years later, I still have it.

Awesome ! Works great ! Lasted longer and kept grill away from the elements compared to other covers I’ve seen and used for other smoker grills.

Covers in rain or snow. I live on an island so I see high winds, rain, and snow. The cover for my smoker has held up for two plus years without any wear and tear. My gas grill (non Masterbuilt) needs to be replaced every other year.

Good cover but best for shade. Cover provides adequate protection for the rain in the elements. The only problem is if you don’t have a covered area where you cook, the sun can be pretty brutal on the cover, and it deteriorates fairly quickly becoming brittle and therefore easy to tear would recommend for covered cooking areas otherwise expect it to deteriorate quickly.

Fits well. Had it for years it's held up great easy to wash with power washer or hose as well

Excellent Quality. I purchased the Masterbuilt cover for my Autoignite 545 and I am very pleased with the quality. It has some weight to it and I appreciate how it handles the Arizona extreme heat. It still shows the same color minus the dust and dirt.

Great Quality. Excellent cover! Holds up well in the UV. Had mine over a year and holding up well!

Fits like a glove. Great cover, fits the smoker like a glove and is long to cover all the way to the ground. Easy to get on and off, and water tight!

This cover has lasted for longer than expected. It is well constructed and 4 years later the elastic has started to fray but the cover itself shows no signs of breaking down.

Durable and Long-Wearing. I've had my 1080 grill and cover for over 2 years and the cover almost looks brand new. It's done a great job of keeping the grill protected from the elements and really hasn't shown any stress from taking it off and putting it on.

GS 1050 Cover is Great. These are very durable and fit well. Excellent product

Cover is great. I brought this cover 3 years ago and it has done a great job.

Loved my 560 cover until I didnt. My grill cover was great for first 3 years. Then it became faded, brittle and torn. I just threw it away today.

Great product. Covers are so durable. Made to last. No leaks, no tears. Great product.

Strong and resilient. I have had my grill for 3 years and my cover has held up wonderfully over time. The cover is plenty thick and made of great material that definitely holds up well to the elements. I also have a portable charcoal grill from Masterbuilt and a cover for it as well, it also is made of great material and has held up really well.

Great Quality Cover. This cover is perfect for the 800 series. Not too heavy and not to light and considering the odd shape of the grill it is easy to take off and put back on. Not much more to say other than it does its job well.

Good grill cover. Fits the 1050 great, made of pretty thick material, does a good job of protecting my grill when it's not in use.

Keeps our grill dry and new looking. Fits good, keeps the elements from getting to our grill, keeps it dry, and looking like new

Cover fits Great. Love how the cover for my 800 fits the contour of the smoker. The two handles make removal easy. Keeps the elements off of the 800.

Tough and Durable. Previous grill covers tore on corners and during storms would get carried away and found later in neighbor's yard, never found it the last time which led to this purchase. It's more durable than my previous cover and has never blown away. The material feels more heavy duty, and I couldn't be happier with it. In the picture you can see how the raindrops are falling off of it.

Grill protection. I always keep all of my grills & smokers covered when not in use. When I purchase a new unit I always get the cover, sometimes they’re decent and sometimes they are cheap made junk ! The Masterbuilt cover is by far the best cover I own It fits perfectly and is very heavy duty and undoubtedly will last for years.

Best cover! Have to see this has been the best grill cover I have ever had. They usually start to fade and tear with a year or two. I've had this one for over 2 years and it sill looks brand new!

looks great. I've had this cover for a couple of years now and so nice to pull it off and go, no dusting!!!

Cover the smoker!! I leave my smoker out year round in the midwest. This cover is thick and durable and will last a long time. If you plan to leave out your smoker I highly recommend this cover to protect it as its thicker than most of those off brand versions.

Great cover! Got this cover at the same time as the smoker, and couldn’t be happier with it! Protects well from outdoor elements, and is easy to put on and take off.

Still look sgreat after 4 years. High quality cover. No rips or fading after being outside for over 4 years.

Great cover. Cover is very thick and tough. Elastic bands wear out but cover still holds.

Just Perfect. Covers all my Masterbuilt, waterproof, the material are good.... No complains....

Durable cover. Cover is great. Strong and stays out. Fits perfect. Easy to put in and take ff.

Works just fine. This cover works great every time. I have had it for almost 3 years and it is very durable.

Awesome!! Thickness and material is perfect. I’ve had it for 4 years or and there’s no fade or tears yet from the weather. Highly recommend

Cover Works. It does what it's supposed to do and keeps my grill clean and dry

Sturdy. I’ve had my 1050 cover for the past 4 years and it’s still holding strong. It has a couple seams where it’s starting to age but 0 holes and 0 issues!

Smoker cover. I really like the durability of this cover. It is large & fits over the smoker easily.

Cover. I bought this when I got my 800 series grill & it fits it perfectly & keeps the grill looking in great shape. It even stays in some pretty wild wind storms! Great product from Masterbuilt.

Degraded and faded. Similar to others who have yards with a lot of sun exposure, this thing is worthless. Mine is 2 years old and the material is completely degraded; each time we remove it new holes form, the thing is just falling apart (the fading doesn’t bother me and could be expected).

Don't Waste Your Money. I’ve only had this grill cover for two years, and it’s completely faded and torn to shreds. Total waste of money. For the price, I expected way better quality. Extremely disappointed. Don't waste your money on this cover.

Cheap. Didn’t last a year. It feel to pieces in my hand

It’s a must! Great protection! Very strong cover, good thick material unlike other covers and easy to put on and remove.

Great product. Very happy with this accessory. Great protection from the wind and sand in my area.

Heavy Duty. I was shocked to see the thickness and quality of this cover, definitely a durable cover, glad I bought the masterbuilt brand

Great value for the cover! I bought my gravity series grill cover from Home Depot and paid around $55 for it but it was well worth it! The cover is made of very durable, high quality material, it has a sinch system at the bottom and fits absolutely perfect! I would highly recommend Masterbuilt grill covers and especially for the gravity series!

don't bother. Worked for about a year, then it started fading like crazy and now it's just ripping uncontrollably, there's no point to even putting it on anymore. The elastic at the bottom worked for the first 6 months.

Grill cover 👎. 8 months in on my XT. Love my smoker but the grill cover has faded, chaffed, cracked and shed. Expected much better quality for the amount I paid.

Quality Cover. Nice Cover. Fits well and stays in place. even in gusty winds.

Holds Up Well. My cover has held up well in the two years I have had it. It is out in the direct weather in western NC. Minimal fading. I did replace it this year but only because the dogs tore it up.

Heavy Duty. This cover is a heavy duty must-have if your grill/smoker is not stored under cover. It withstands pretty much everything mother nature throws at it to protect your smoker.

Works great. If you own and Gravity Grill, the cover is a must. I’ve had mine for over 2 years and it still looks and operates great!

Heavy duty. I've purchased grill covers before that appear to be heavy duty. This one has done well in the full sun and through Michigan winter.

Great cover! Cover works well in all weather. Like being able to cinch it at the bottom.

Keeps it out of the elements. Don't purchase the Gravity Series without the cover. The cover is essential to keeping the grill out of the elements. Works great!

All good. No problems with the cover. Stayed on grill even in an ice storm. Seems to be thick and of good material.

Durability sucks. The gill cover does not even last a year. It quickly becomes brittle and cracks and splits at the slightest touch. You already sent a replacement and it also was worn out in short order. For the price it should perform much better and protect the grill from the elements. This product is a disgrace to the brand.

Perfect fit. 2.5 years in and the cover is holding up well and taking care of my 800 just as it should. I keep it out in the elements so it's being put through its paces without issue. Made of a durable fabric that looks great and fits like a glove.

Be prepared to by multiple if left in the weather. Had to replace twice, as cover is exposed to the weather. Material doesn’t hold up to weather very well. Begins to dry rot and tear.

This thing keeps my smoker in good shape. Love this cover - protects perfectly from rain, sun...bugs.

Exellent Quality! I actually have this cover for the 1050 and the quality is as good as any I've had in the past!

Fits perfectly. Perfect fit to protect my Gravity Series smoker/grill

Something you should have without a second thought. After investing in the Gravity Series® 800, I knew I had to protect it, so I went ahead and got the Masterbuilt cover designed for it. I'm really glad I did. This cover is a high quality one; snug without being too tight, and it has just the right amount of coverage to keep my Gravity series protected. The material feels heavy-duty and durable, like it’s built to last through all seasons. I’ve had it through a few rainstorms and windy days already, and it’s held up great—no leaks, no tears, and it stays put, thanks to the adjustable straps. I also love that it’s easy to put on and take off, which is important because I’m using my grill a lot! The cover has made it through some pretty rough weather, and my grill still looks brand new underneath. One thing is, make sure you cool off your Gravity Series completely before putting it on (which is a no brainer). I was first debating if I needed this, but after several rains and storm, I am very happy I bought this!

1050 Cover. I love my cover. Protects what keeps me and my family happy.

Quality cover. Durable and looks good. Can't expect much more from a cover

Grill Cover. I’m glad I bought this cover to protect my grill. It’s handy to put on and take off and provides the best protection from dust, grime, and water.

Fits like a glove! Protect your investment, by purchasing a custom fitted cover for your Masterbuilt smoker. Protect it from the elements, such as rain, snow, dirt, all while remembering that there are electronics in the smoker so it is well worth the money to protect your investment.

Durable. Expensive. Should come with the expensive grill already

Heavy cover and will last for years. Purchased with smoker and covers from the ground up and fits perfectly

Sturdy Cover. I've had this cover for a couple of years. My grill sits on a deck with no protection from the sun. It is thick and heavy canvas that is cumbersome to put on. But that is probably why it is holding up well. No tears in the fabric and the color hasn't faded much. It's expensive, though you get what you pay for. The cover that came free with my kamado grill is splitting after just a year.

5 years old. I’ve had mine for 5+ years and it stays out in the weather in Oklahoma. Extreme heat in summer and snow and ice in winter. Still in great shape!

Smoker cover. Free with purchase. Highly recommend to keep this investment covered when not using.

Don’t waste your $. Not worth the $. Box was crushed in shipping. Product looks good but rips easily.

Good protection. Nice, heavy cover that fits just right. My only complaint is how fast it faded. Still, I'd buy again.

Questionable build quality. Good fit bad quality I have had it around one month it’s all ready faded. I have noticed Masterbuilt is not a high quality product. Build quality is questionable

Tight fit new. Covers is great quality. I always make sure grill is completely cold before covering but cover is getting pretty tight. Hopefully it doesn’t get tighter

Poor shipping / customer service. I still don't have my cover (or griddle) because I'd had it shipped to my hotel when I was visiting Portland. There was a "shopping delay" and customer service said there was no way for them to change the delivery address, so now it's sitting in Portland until I figure out a way to get it.

Lasts one year if you are lucky. Cover looks nice and protects the untit very well but be prepared to replace at least once a year. Masterbuilt does not honor any warranty on accesories. Don't let them fool you with the note for customer to call them about their complaint. They will not do anything.

Not good at all. Had it a little over one year. Yes my grill is outside 100% but this cover fades and tore last year. Won't last much longer.

Great cover. The cover works great. It’s made of strong and durable material and it’ll protect my grill from the rain and weather.

Great purchase. The cover is built to the form of the grill. Slides on easy, comes off easy but not too easy. It is made of thick material that seems like it should last.

Cover. Fits well and extremely well made. Just put it on and am waiting to see how long it holds up.

tearing and ripping after 2 years. This is a long term review of the grill cover. I have had mine for a little over two years. I live in central NC. The weather is not very extreme here. My grill cover has started to rip and tear at multiple parts. The material has started to become very brittle as well. Better off just buying a cheap generic cover

Masterbuilt 800 Cover. The cover came fine. Maybe better than the last one that dry rotted and ripped after 2 years.

so covered. Nice durable construction. Waterproof and looks nice when tucked away safely for the cold night.

Does it's job. I actually have the cover for my 1050 not the 800 but a cover is a cover. It does it's job and keeps my smoker out of the elements. That's all I ask.

Sturdy cover for year round protection. I was hesitant to pay the expense of the grill cover after paying for the Gravity Series, but I decided it was a small percentage of the total cost of the setup and the protection was needed since I don't have a roof over my deck. As others will tell you, the cover is absolutley going to fade due to sunlight exposure. After 4 years, however, mine has no holes, peeling or any of the other maladies I've experienced with lower priced covers.

Worth the price. People complain about quality of build of their gravity series, but don't think to protect it from the elements. This cover was relatively inexpensive and has helped protect my smoker for 3 years.
