Masterbuilt Gravity Series® Meat Probe

Works but sadly only 300° F. I now have all four probes for the Gravity series 800. They work perfectly & agree with all my other meat probes and the Meater. Disappointedly the Masterbuilt probes work only to 300° F other probes with other grills go to 575° like the wireless Meater. However, Masterbuilt probes work perfectly with the Masterbuilt app. When I go over 300° in the Masterbuilt I have to remove them. I love the 800 gravity series makes the best steaks.

AWSOME. Love our new meat probes! now can cook several different meats and veggies at same time and all cooked to done.

Does the job. Bought these to go with the Gravity Series 560. Wish the 560 had already come with more than 1 probe. Work well and not bad on price.

Nice. Probe works good the smoker however is causing me problems. Powder coating is coming off in several places

does not last. bought Masterbuilt® Gravity Series the box it self works great just cheap parts had mine for 1 month and fan when out and then 6 months meat probe quit working and no customer service

not sure. i had bought four new meat probes from the website. The first time i used the i made a brisket .It did not urn out at all. It was like shoe leather. I took it out and wrapped it and put in a cooler when probe said temp was 192.after finding meat way over cooked i tried different probes to check the temp of grill .I kept getting error after error. I tested several probes with some ice water then boiling water and some of them were off as much as 30 degrees. I wasn't happy to say the least. I have done better on my gas grill!!. I contacted customer support and they sent me some new probes without any kind of communication. No explanation just the new probes showed up at my door.i will have to try again and test the probe or see if it is the motherboard. By the way i bought this new and have only used it a few times. If i can i will updates this as it goes

Replacement Parts. Recently purchased several items to rebuild my smoker. They had everything and it's now back to new status. Working great and smoking lots of food. Thanks for the help and service.

Works great! I first bought some from Amazon that was a different brand that claimed to work with the 1050… Big mistake!! It was so inaccurate I couldn’t use it. That same day I order the ones from Masterbuilt. They work like they should. Don’t waste your time with other brand's

Works good. So I have used these 4 times and they seem accurate, and well built.

Happy with the probes,. work great! now I can track 3 different items all at the same time.

Wrong probes. I ordered extra meat probes through the website, and received the grill probes instead. In order to talk to anyone at Masterbuilt about purchases of any kind, they require a product registration first. Since I have not registered a product with them, they will not help me in exchanging the items.

Very Accurate. I wanted a second probe for my MB 800 for big pieces of meat. I have found that the probe is durable, easy to use and very accurate.

Great product. My partner loves the new temperature prongs. He had one and now has 4.

Extra Probes. Wanted to utilize the extra probes to check the temp on multiple locations of a brisket. Worked out well. Also when smoking multiple meats you can check the temp while it’s cooling. Love it!

Quick turn around! I foolishly burned mine out the first time I used my gravity series, so I picked up 2 of these. They work perfectly and it's so nice to be able to track temps from my phone.

Good Temp Probe. Bought 3 to go with my 800. Used two for reverse searing steaks. One probe got too hot and it fell apart. Somewhat disappointed, but they shouldn’t go over 500 degrees

Works great with my 560. I purchased a few extra probes to use on my 560. They work great and I like being able to monitor several items at the same time.

Masterbuilt Meat Probe. Meat temps have been on point so no complaints here.

Accurate. Bought additional meat probes from Masterbuilt. Works as it should. Very accurate as advertised

Spot on! After the new firmware update, I used both probes and they were on point for the 12 hour cook time!

Work well. I now have all 4 to use with my grill, this has made checking Temps simple. I have checked them against another meet thermoand they are pretty accurate.

Love this grill. Switches need some work but won't buy anything else

Probe for my 560. The first order got canceled by Masterbuilt after they charged my credit card. However they made it right and emailed me apologizing for there mistake. I love my 560!!!!

Probes. Multiple probes make grilling cuts a piece of cake.

The best and easiest smoker I've ever use. I love this smoker, I wish it had a better temp gauge and better quality switches. But over all it's a great design and I absolutely love it.

Great product. My 1050 came with 1 probe and it works great and is very accurate. Fast shipping during a pandemic!

Don’t buy a knock off ! This probe is exactly what came with the grill and it works perfectly. I bought four, get them while they last.

The Probe Works. I had to order a replacement because your machines only take these size probes.

Inaccurate temperature probe. I bought this probe because I wanted everything in one app. It a shame the temperature reading is off by about 20f

Terrible. Inaccurate. 3 try and all failed. I love my gravity series grill but the thermometers are inaccurate, way off, not even close. They read about 50 to 75 degrees higher than my 2 instant read thermometers and one other remote probe that I have use for years. The one that came with the grill didn’t work, so I thought it was a fluke and ordered 2 more. Those didn’t work either. From day one, they were way off. I give up and am still using the grill and smoker but I won’t buy any more thermometers from Masterbuilt.

Probe failed. Three. Months after purchase it failed so I bought this one

Direct replacement. I looked everywhere for a replacement and could not find one that was compatible the one I did buy said it was compatible but when you plug it in an error message comes up on the control screen I never thought to go directly to Masterbuilt assuming any digital thermometer would work and now I know don’t waste your time trying to find a replacement for cheaper the one from Masterbuilt works perfectly

Great probe. Not a generic design. They are good probes and are at a good price. I'm just a little bummed that Masterbuilt didn't use a generic connector so I could the 1/2 dozen other probes already in my drawer.

appears like good quality time will tell!! i have used this probe 2 times so far so good. i don't understand why the 1050 gravity feed grill won't hold a fairly constant temp. the unit varies plus or minus 30 to 40 degs. makes me wonder on the control end of this unit " temp was checked with a high grade temp monitor..

Has worked great for over 50 smokes. I've been using the original meat probe since I've had the MB560 and it works great. A lot of the bad reviews are from people damaging them by leaving them in the grill at temps above 350. However, I can only give the value 2 starts because this shouldn't be $20. More like, $7.

Meat prode. I am happy that got a masterbuilt 1050 and prode and my cover is here i love my grill and foods every one love it this is my third masterbuilt product that I have gotten from from masterbuilt my first in 1995 thankyou masterbuilt

Terrible Company. Just like the smoker this product was terrible.. I have 2 probes from them and both tell different temps that are 70 degrees apart!

Perfect themometer for cooking to perfection. Well worth the cost. I find this thermometer to be very accurate. I have a seperate meat probe themometer and they are both right on. This makes it nice to be able ot have two meat probes on my Masterbuilt 560 when smoking meat and getting meat temp perfectly cooked. Love the App which shows my meat temps so I know when to pull off

Doesn’t Work. I plug these in and instantly get an err 5 that it’s over 300 degrees.

Worked for 1 cook. Bought it to replace the original which stopped reading correct temp (off by 150 degreee!). This one also did the same thing after just 1 brisket cook. Unfortunate, since the actual smoker is awesome. had to just switch to using my separate wireless thermometer.

Purchased 4 Meat ProbeS ! I have the Masterbuilt 560Gravity Series and it has the capability of having 4meat probe inputs, so I had to have them.. Happy Smokin Peeps !

Masterbuilt Meat Probes. These Masterbuilt Gravity Series Meat Probes are exactly what I needed to make sure my cook internal temperature correct. They are only good for up to 300 degrees F, which means they must not be left in the cook chamber unless inserted in meat the reason for not giving it five stars. I think the temperature range is more accurate and my testing has shown this to be true.

I love this thing. Easiest device to to use Quick startup Very rapidly gets to chosen temp and maintains The App is a dream come with its ability to monitor indoors in the Texas heat We use it at least 4-5 times a week My only issue is the removal and cleaning of the baffle system I would love to see a retrofit upgrade to fix that

Dead on Arrival. Ordered a few extra meat probes but they were dead on arrival and failed to be read by my MES. My old meat probes still work fine.

really nice. i find the gravity charcoal pit..fanstick .and the 4 meat probes are icing on the cake

Controlling charcoal smoke heat digitally. I couldn’t be more happy with this gravity smoker. I never thought a grill could transform my grill slkils to such an elite level. This smoker is so easy to operate even for a newbie!

Accurate. Extremely accurate but main wire section between probe and plug needs to be better insulated to help prevent getting burned

Hot pile of garbage. 4 uses, broke, been using various probes for years never had one this flimsy. Someone needs to make a 3rd party probe or masterbuilt needs to get their stuff together on this. ASAP will be going back to my Weber iGrill2 for now which is a shame for Masterbuilt.

Meat probe. I was told by Thermoworks that they do not recommend their probes with a Masterbuilt. Has anyone found one that will work?

3rd cook. WAY OFF. I'm doing my third cook on the grill and the temperature was just way off and I had another probe to different unit which was correct. I've been looking for replacements. I've heard that it will only go up to 300 degrees? The seams poorly-planned for four ports. A lot of people complaining about the $20 per unit and it's completely sold out. What else can I use what else can I order?

didnt work 1/2 way thru smoking. do not buy! we bought this to replace the probe that stopped working 1 yr into having our smoker and it didnt even make it thru one cook!

Quick turn around. Needed a replacement as my dog chewed the original. Appreciate the quick turn around it this one works as well as the original.

One more convenience. I recently purchased the Matsterbuilt 560 gravity feed grill/smoker. I have tried with limited success in the past to smoke meats, but this probe will allow me to do more than one item at a time with predictable results. Looking forward to a lot of success in the future

Still broke. Replaced probe, did not fix smoker. Temperature monitor within smoker broken.

Overpriced and Under-performing. First, I have to admit that I didn't know this probe was not supposed to be left in the grill past 300 degrees...my fault, I overlooked that detail in the manual. So it failed after only 3 cooks. That said, as an accessory for a product as outstanding as the G560, I would have expected more, especially since the G560 boasts of 700 degree capability. There are plenty of probes on other grills/smokers that will take 700-1000 degrees, why not this one? Also, $20 plus shipping and tax cost me almost $30 to replace, because apparently other less expensive third-party probes (i.e. $10 on Amazon) won't work with the G560. I LOVE MY G560! But, this part is disappointing.

Fail fast. I have treated this with care and this has failed within a year. 20$ to replace? come on....
