Nice product, but installation videos would help. We purchased a 400 sq foot titanium pallet for installation in a 250 sq foot study with the remainder to be installed in our master bedroom if we liked the product and install. I ordered another 150 sq feet today to complete that job. I really like the product and the thickness of the wear layer is impressive. The rubber backing gives a nice feel when walking on the tile. I'd been looking at this for several years but had a hard time puling the trigger due to a lack of installation videos. And whenever I called to ask for installation advice what I received was right out of the installation manual. I would give 5 stars if I got competent installation advice or videos. Everyone I spoke with had an Indian accent so I expect the sales and customer service is outsourced. Installation went well after I got through a couple of rows. I used the NewAge aluminum end caps to finish the floor at the doorways connecting to hardwood and a marble bathroom threshold. I used a NewAge reducer for the transition from the product to a thinner LVT in a closet. End caps and reducer were easy to install per the manual.
My advice: Put installation videos on YouTube

Nope. Not as advertised. Nothing stays attached. The end channels are too shallow and if you can’t get them engaged none of the long edge matches up properly. The YouTube video is full on fantasy.

Doesn’t Hold Up Over Time. I had done my 3 car garage floor just over 3 years ago in the Stone finish. It looked beautiful! It is a bit of a challenge to routinely get the tiles to properly snap together, but with preserverance you will get everything to align. However, after 3 years, I have decided to completely replace the product as with expansion/contraction of the seasons and the routine pulling in/out of the garage, the tiles are detached from one another with the locking mechanism breaking resulting in miss alignment of the tiles. It is not easy to try to replace or realign the tiles when this happens. Hence, I have given up on these tiles. I think they can be good for uses in other areas, but cannot recommend for a garage. All too often products are reviewed too early after installation, but this one did not cut it after a few years of installation.

Good product but Fragile Edges. The product is as advertised. Edges are very fragile and require almost perfect conditions to install.

Product is good quality but wish service was the s. The product is good. Wish service and delivery was. Promises made for sample package and total order were both very late. Delivery was so late a duplicate order arrived two days after the original order was delivered. Original order was three weeks later than promised. Many customer service calls went un answered when seeking a delivery date. Packing was good but did not hold up to sub standard delivery service. Three pallets arrived with damage and added pallets to keep product from becoming damaged. The delivery service with curbside lift gate was terrible. Truck was barely able to offload the pallets due to poor mechanical issues and left oil all over my driveway from leaking hydraulics and motor oil. The delivery company was Roadrunner Delivery Service and they should never be used again.

Great & Durable Flooring, Expect Warped Boards. The flooring is a lot better looking than almost every other option I found online and even more impressive in person. I was afraid my wife wouldn’t be able to park on it but it help under the car just fine. A lot of the boards were warped though but I was still able to install them fine. The warping was by pack, not individual boards themselves and not sure what would cause that since it’s vinyl. It truly has transformed my garage into an office/activity room like I wanted though and doesn’t not make it feel like a garage at all. The tiles do feel like real stone which I was impressed by. Wish they would’ve had more warmer stone options, I was told the sandstone was like a light brown but it’s just grey with very minor hints of brown in it. This is pretty much the only company you’ll find though that makes actual nice flooring that can actually hold up in a garage environment. Everything else is just coatings and those plastic square tiles. Nothing real looking except this vinyl flooring. Their customer service needs a lot of improvement though, not very helpful when I was inquiring about this flooring.

LVT Flooring Charcoal. Love my new laundry room floor. It is exactly how I was hoping it would look, just like real slate tiles. But better, it is LVT. Easy to clean and easy on your feet. And per my installer, easy to lay. The only reason my score is not five stars is because of the shipping method. Because I ordered a small number of boxes, many cartons were damaged by the shipping carrier. Out of New Age’s control, however any opportunity to reevaluate the method of shipping small quantities in the future. Would I purchase from New Age again, absolutely to get a product that fits my needs. I would just request more substantial shipping packaging to prevent damage.

This flooring is backorderd. The LVT is back ordered. It's not something they tell you before spending thousands of dollars on the flooring. Once they take your money its weeks before any order updates. When you reach out to them about it, they tell you it will ship in about 3 days, but it doesn't. They just say that every time you inquire about it. If you're ok with waiting months to get you floor after you purchase it, then disregard this review. Buyers be warned.

Pleased after install. Really like the look and weight of these tiles. They are about twice as thick other LVP I’ve used, and feel much higher quality. The tiles snap together solidly, and they seem like they will hold up well over time in our kitchen - hope so!

Terrible customer service. Had to cancel my order due to customer service incompetence. Ordered flooring package in 3/2023 to be delivered during 4/2023. Was assured by customer service rep that flooring would be delivered during a particular week we were available. 1 day before scheduled delivery date, we call to confirm delivery, but we’re told product hasn’t been released to carrier, so will not arrive in time. Spent hours on the phone to arrange another delivery date in 5/2023. Customer rep again assured us of product arriving on time, even stated company would pay for carrier storage fee so that product would be available to be delivered. Call end of 4/2023 to confirm above and told product once again not released to carrier and would not arrive in time. We arranged special travel plans just to receive this product and now it’s not available. This company is a joke with logistics and the customer reps will say anything to make a sale. We can understand a difference of a day variance in delivery, but 5 days out from a scheduled delivery date is ridiculous. We would not have even known if we didn’t try to follow up on our own. This is what you get for service when buying products priced at 1k+, would hate to know how you’re treated if just buying a shelf/cabinet. Order cancelled!!! Let’s see if this company follows through and is prompt about returning our money.

Not so scared anymore. What a load of tile. 75 boxes for 1000 sq ft. I was afraid that some damage would happen in shipping. I was afraid of breaking the edges unloading the pieces. I was afraid to drive on them. Looking back we had very little damage in shipping. I think we only broke one tile. The installation only took two days. And I even got the strength to bring my vehicle in the garage. So far we love the look of our sandstone tile.

New Age Sandstone Tile Install. I installed the sandstone lvt tiles in my kitchen, laundry room and hallway. Also plan to use in a bathroom remodel. Very pleased with the tile, installation was a breeze for someone with flooring skills.Nice helpful video's on website. Tile is well made, heavy, with a quality underlayment rubberized pad.Used 27 boxes of tile with only 1 damaged tile. Product came on a solid pallet, wrapped and banded well-no movement or shifting during shipping. To sum up, a great experience with New Age Tiles from ordering , delivery, to installation ,am very pleased. My only wish is that they would offer the tiles and planks in more colors and patterns as selection palette is limited.
★★★★★ Brian December 7, 2022
You get what you pay for. A good thing here. It looks amazing. The install was easy, the tiles have a lot of weight to them and they dont have that "floating floor" sensation that some lighter floors can have. With the slate, the joints look like perfect grout lines, really neat. Ive got 200lb tools on casters rolling around, no signs of damage or stress.
One tip, good or bad i dont know. When i installed the tiles, the long edge was easy to seat, but the short edge looks mostly locked. I later took a padded mallet and wacked a joint and found out it could click further into place. No amount of tapping from the edge got it seated like 1 wack from above. So if you see a slight ledge between tiles on the short edge, try banging it down.

Great floor, durable, love the look. Great product! This floor was fairly easy to install. You definitely need a saw to cut the planks. We have had it installed for about a month now and it is holding up great. Dropped items on it have not caused scratches or dents! Feels great walking around barefoot. Probably should have leveled the floor a little more before install but we laid it over asbestos tile and it still went in without any issues and there is no creaking.

Good Product. I received this product along with the purchase of some garage cabinets. I was impressed with the construction. Putting it together was easy but didn’t care for the metal edging. I put a riding bike u serenata and it held up well thanks to the conduction of underneath. Floor needs to be level or you risk breaking the tile and the outer lip can be a little fragile. Overall a good product for a weight room/basement. Not sure I would use it in an all weather garage.
★★★★★ Ryan S October 20, 2021
Great product. Lessons worth sharing. I have few months to enjoy our new flooring. It's beautiful, but there are definitely a few lessons worth passing along. We installed ourselves. We have imperfect concrete that isn't ideal but we used a work around using 1-Step DMX.
1) Lighting + Color Selection = Results may vary.... When we first revived the flooring we were still in the middle of our remodel. The lighting had been selected and installed and when we compared the photos to what we saw in person outside, it's a beautiful match. Our new LED (90 cri) lights just aren't awesome at reproducing all of the warm tones of this Sandstone. They look like a slightly more tan version of the titanium under our lights. Which is fine. The rich textures and patterns on the tiles are still beautiful in our space, but I highly recommend ordering a full sample pack and looking at it under your lights before you make your purchase.
2) USE A MASK and Cut outside to avoid breathing plastic dust - I used a compact circular saw with a Performax 4-1/2" turbo Rim Diamond Blade to cut tiles for our 450 sq ft project. The dust produced is considerable and I definitely don't think the human body should be breathing this in. Also... be a guardian of the planet and vacuum or sweep up and vacuum as much as possible. I can't imagine this is a great bi-prroduct that should end up in the storm sewer (and potentially into our watershed).
3) Old and Uneven floors - We have a 1949 bungalow with a 2012 drain tile around the interior perimeter of our basement. This means, we have a pitched floor sloped to a primary drain in our laundry room and the drain tile trench had new concrete which created a steeper pitch at the last 16 inches of concrete. (See photo). So in order to level out the floor, we would effectively need to spend a ton on concrete leveler. On top of that because our floor was originally poured before they used vapor barriers, we noticed we still have SOME limited moisture that comes through the concrete. The best option in most cases would be to seal the concrete with primer, but because we didn't have the stomach to grind our floors (to get rid of all the previous tile glues) on the floor and then seal it.
We opted to use a Platon Subfloor called DMX 1-Step LVT. This is a great introduction to the product and why you might want to use this over DMX's other product. .
We also chose this mostly because of the potential moisture issue more than anything else but it also reduced how much we needed to scrape the floors of the old tile glues. the 1-Step It's tested and rated for subfloors and it literally saved the day in a lot of ways in our installation. Basically though it was not a "cure all" for all the variety of imperfections and changes in slope through our floors but it seemed to bring it within the range of tolerance for what NewAge Composite Tile can handle. Al that said, we do have some tiles that "pop" when you walk on them because we did not have optimum conditions for the install. It's nothing visibly noticeable and it's acceptable for us but still unfortunate.
So what's the lesson? The older your home is, the more preparation may be needed for success.
4) Replace Tiles with broken locking edges immediately!! The locking edges are integral to the tiles remaining connected.... Right... duh.. but on occasion these can be a little fragile and break off (in my case, specifically 2 tiles out of 450sf). I didn't notice the 2nd break until I was MUCH further along. (like two rows of 20') I noticed a micro gap that I opted not to undo the other rows for, but in the end I wish I had. I'm hoping to find a solution to this for perhaps some kind of epoxy or glue that I can surgically insert into that gap, but I don't know. I can't use the traditional replacement method of cutting out the tile and replacing because of the DMX 1-Step.
5) Doors!.. Remove trim around the door and you'll have a much easier time installing the tile. You will want to cut the trim with a reciprocating tool first or you'll need to measure and trim later.
6) We had a sump-pump that we still needed access to. We were able to cut an access panel in the tiles and connect the panels to a cut circle of plywood. We did this with just a jig saw. The tiles hold together nicely, but you can use a screw from underneath the plywood to secure it to the plywood in a couple locations.
7) Open and sort tiles into similar patterns to layout and preview before you install.
Finally, We still do hear some clicking but it isn't horrible. If I spent some time it could probably be solved by some good taps with the rubber mallet. However because our subfloor isn't perfect, this is bound to happen. We don't blame the product.

Flooring samples. These were provided to us to review. They look great and are easy to install. The are durable and provide a great improvement to our floors with very little effort. We have a very large area so it was not practical to install them on the entire area. They do work out great as areas around the entrance and in front of the work benches. They are a nice addition to the work space.

I'm happy to say that after 2 winters the flooring still looks amazing. A quick sweep and damp mop and everything is back to like new. I've done the floor epoxy in the past. color not expected. Bought 600sqft of sandstone colored tile and what appeared in the delivery was tile that resembled the titanium color, but the boxes said sandstone. I was super confused and the customer service team didn't really know what to do. I had to call at least 5 different times to get an update on the ticket, they were not proactive at all. All in it was delivered May 4th and its now May 17th and I have decided to return them. The pallet was sitting in my garage this whole time, so it was an inconvenience and a waste of time. So beware the color you see in the images may not be what you get.

Looks OK - scratches easier than it should. Its a nice looking product other than a few tiles that have had the dye from the dark grey run into the light grey. Also the surface scratches much, much easier than I would have hoped.
I think it would be great if your garage is a showroom, but not intended for any functional garage

Amazing product. Best decision I ever made! Was not meant to be a big project, but such is my nature. Doing something on your home, do it right. NewAge has several outstanding products. Originally was only going with cabinets, but I loved their pictures with their flooring, so I did the same. Durable and easy to install. My neighbor and I installed it in one day. Now him and other neighbors want to do the same! Garage door threshold and aluminum end caps are a nice finish, and I definitely recommend it. Trust me. If you’re going to install cabinets, do the floor, too.

Nice garage floor!! Ordering was simple. Delivery was flawless...the driver helped me get the flooring to the garage. Installation was a little tricky because my garage floor wasn't perfectly flat but we figured it out. Only negative was that I ordered the aluminum edging. I had some very short cuts to make around the doors and it was far easier to use quarter round than the aluminum. All in all, I am very pleased with how it came out and New Age was very accommodating to my questions and requests.

Awful Customer Support. I was very excited when I first found this product on Costco’s website. As I was looking for something just like this to install in my garage. I quickly called New Age to inquire about the product and they were great at answering all my questions. So I went ahead and ordered the product through Costco. As I believed this was a company that stood by their products and would provide great customer service even after purchase. I got the tiles about a week and a half after I ordered them.
Unfortunately that is where things went side aways. The first box I opened had 3 tiles that were missing the top clear coating, had scratches and one even had sharpie black pen marks on it. I didn’t think too much into this as I knew I had extra. When I started installing the tiles. I quickly ran into issues having the tiles lock in place and the locking groove would chip off or peel off. I carried forward with the install for a couple rows and kept running into the same issues and the tiles were extremely loud when you walked on them. At this point, I decided to stop installing the tiles and called Costco to see what my options where to return the tiles. Of course, Costco said if you aren’t happy with how they are turning out we will take them back and schedule someone to come pick them up and process a full refund. Two businesses days later, I got a email from New Age offering me a portion of my purchase price if I was willing to keep them. I told them no thanks and that I would like to proceed with my return. The following day, I got another email offering me a higher credit if I kept them. I still said thanks but no thanks and to move forward with scheduling the picking up. Another couple days goes by and I still hadn’t heard anything from New Age to schedule a pick up. So I called Costco, they quickly apologized and said they would contact New Age to have it expedited. I heard back from New Age the following day with a Bill of Lading and I would be contacted shortly to schedule the pick up. 3 more business days go by and I still hadn’t heard anything so I called and emailed New Age again. Was told I would be called back by the returns team the same day. Never got a call or email back. So I called again today, was told the carrier still hasn’t been assigned and not sure when would be! It has now been over 3 weeks and I don’t have a date on when the product will be picked up or when I will receive a refund.
I will never buy another New Age product again due to this awful customer service and extreme lack of urgency.

Love the look of the new garage. I was originally looking to install cabinets in the garage, but the project snowballed and it lead to texturizing and painting the walls/ceiling. Couldn't just leave the concrete slab just by itself, so I was looking for flooring as well. Between doing epoxy (metalic or chips), or doing the vinyl planks; I ended up with the slightly more expensive option: New Age. The benefit of this is that I can work on parts of the garage at the time instead of having to vacate the entire area in case you wanted to paint / epoxy it.
Looking for options, New Age was the only company that offered LVT flooring that they will stand behind and warrant for 5 years when installed in a Garage. Yes, Floor and Decor, Home Depot, or Lowes do not carry a product that they will warrant for garage installations. Technically, it is "drop-in" flooring and not "click-lock" flooring which many of the Home Improvment stores offer. While the same installation applies, you use a tapping block and get the alignment of the tile correct; then you tap on the tail end to "lock" it in place.
In the shipment, there were only 2-3 LVT planks that had manufacturing errors (e.g. a notch or a dent). I believe this is a very low error ratio, and you'll learn to use these as an end-piece as you will need to cut pieces to length on either end. These LVT planks do scratch so keep your tools off this while installing it (knives, etc). Also, be vary that dropping large items (e.g. I dropped my router and had to replace that board during the installation) will cause a dent. Each LVT has about 9mm of plastic layer that do tolerate a lot (like park a car on top of it), but they aren't dent proof. Just want to set your expectations righ there.
I love the look of the new garage floor, and am excited to enjoy this for years to come.

Easy to install once substrate is properly prepped. Our garage is about 60 years old. The floor was uneven and has several large cracks. We had foam professionally mud-jacked underneath and then rented a scarifier (big grinder) to even out the concrete because it definitely had bumps and sloping issues. It is a good thing that my husband spent so much time prepping the floor because it made the installation go fairly smoothly. He said that the system locked together easily and wasn’t difficult to install. The only issues he had were that a few of the tiles arrived damaged and that the aluminum end cap pieces were kind of a pain because of the cuts he had to make (some were due to the concrete foundation sill plate not being straight.) All in all we would recommend these tiles to other people. The newer the garage, probably the easier the install. This review is written about installation and product delivery because we have not had it long enough to address durability and upkeep. So far, so good. It looks great!

My Garage. I contacted Melissa at NewAge flooring. She was so helpful assisting me with my purchase. The flooring arrived quick and in perfect condition. My garage floor is 30 years old with severe damage. The garage floor is neither square or level. The NewAge flooring is precision made with tight fitting pieces. After the first few rows a rubber mallet and piece of flooring for a bump was necessary to align the flooring, due to the growth floor unevenness. I’m a 71 year old retired fireman so I took my time on installation, 100 degree heat every day. I’m very happy with the flooring and the way it looks gets complements.

12×23.15" luxury Vinyl Tile (garage floor ). Bought 600 sq ft and installed in garage in about 14hrs. As any flooring of this design, getting the first 3 rows correct is critical. Installation turned out great. Tiles came on a pallet with no damage. Added the Threshhold seal to each of the entry doors, and also looks great. Very pleased with design (graphite) and improved appearance of garage without the worries of using epoxies or other non water resistant tile designs. New install July 2020.

Stone Composite Flooring. First of all would say Melissa from customer service was excellent. If she didn’t know she found it out. We the extra mile.
I had samples sent to me at first as I was sceptical about this tile flooring withstanding normal Barrie weather. I put the tiles to the test. I submerged in water for 36 hours and they came out fine. I dropped a hammer serval times from a bench height and only had nimrod dents. I jacked up a heavy load and again minor dents from the hydraulic jack. The scratch test had some marks from a knife, so not sure how it will preform under winter conditions with sand or stones from the car tires.
Installing the tiles you must make sure the floors are level and you use a plumb line to make sure your tiles are going down straight. This will avoid difficulties later when installing them. The tiles go down easy, but if there is unlevel floor or off line tiles you will have difficulty. It took us two days to install a two car garage. Wanted it done right. Looks great. Time will tell how it stands up to our Canadian winters.
I would recommend the product based on what I put it through and experience installing.
Shipping was excellent. I work for shipping company and I haven’t seen the protection that they had. In came on a pallet wrapped with cardboard and plastic wrap. No damage to boxes or the tiles. You need the extra 10% suggested as some or the tiles had minor defects in them.
Excellent product.

I will say that your floor that you install the product on should indeed be flat. Not so much level but definitely a flat surface. I would recommend this product for someone looking to spruce up a small space or even a large garage. Customer service was great as well.

Purchased cabinets about a month ago and was able to get some flooring samples. The color was absolutely beautiful and would really set off a garage or living space. Product seems extremely durable and scratch resistant. Installation is a bit tricky and would be nice if the side and ends would snap together so you could picture frame an area. Overall solid product

Well-engineered and beautiful. I installed in my kitchen. It looks stunning and I receive many compliments. Will be using in a bathroom as well. Thickness, ridgedness and rubber bottom easily absorb any sub-floor imperfections.
On the install:
It took a while to get the hang of it. Tiles fit together with surgical precision and connection edges must be 100% tightly fit.
Tiles cut nicely on chop saw and table saw. Very easy to get multiple tricky cuts around walls and doors.
Exposed tile edges are vulnerable to dings. Handle carefully!

Good Quality . I received a two box sample of the garage tile flooring . The quality is excellent and I believe would make for a superb surface for a garage.
Unfortunately it was not suitable for my flooring requirement there is a floor drain at the center Requires the Floor to warp/slope into the drain in 4 directions. As the tile is quite ridged we were concerned about the tile forming to the floor and the proper interlocking of the tiles.
That said, should my floor have been flat the New Age product would have been perfect.

Quality product. I ordered and received the New Age Flooring in Slate color. The sales rep and customer service were extremely helpful. My only issue with New Age is their shipping methods. I placed two seperate orders and they both arrived very late due to the shippers utilizing “consolidated freight”. Which means your product will not ship until the shipper has other freight going to your location. The shipping estimates at time of purchase are not accurate and New Age will be unable to provide a delivery date as they are at the mercy of the consolidated freight company.
The flooring finally arrived and was in perfect condition which I attribute to New Age’s packing procedures. The flooring arrived in very thick, high quality boxes and was wrapped tightly on the pallet. I was immediately impressed and surprised by the quality upon opening the box. I like the fact that each tile has a foam rubber under the surface. This provides a cushion for those of us who will be standing on the tile all day. The floor tile is waterproof and cleans up nicely. I had a flood in my garage 2 days after install. The tiles were completely under water and were not damaged at all. To my surprise the gaps/grout lines do not retain dirt. I have had dirt and sawdust on them and they clean right up with a broom and a wet mop.
Once down the tile will not move. The rubber under the surface grabs the floor nicely. I am not a fan of the metal edging. It is difficult to get them affixed to the tile to prevent movement. The only way to use the metal edging is against a wall. They don’t work as a tile border away from the wall as they will move.
