A Patio Resorts fire table is a cast or powder coated aluminum gas table with a built-in burner, a cover for the burn area, and a door in the base that hides a standard 20 lb propane tank. Most models in the line sit at chat height (about 25 in) and are listed at $1,780 to $2,914 at the time of writing. The real choices are top finish (granite, ceramic stone, faux wood grain or plain aluminum), shape, and height.
This review uses the product listings and the maker’s published specs, not hands-on testing. Where listings conflict, we say so.
What the Patio Resorts fire table line offers
Patio Resort Lifestyles makes outdoor furniture, and its fire tables match its seating collections (Rome, Venice, Bermuda, Paris, Windsor, Monarch and Regal). The listings describe a common package:
- Frame: rust-proof aluminum with a hand-applied powder coated finish. Several listings state a 10 year frame warranty and 3 year finish warranty.
- Burner and output: most listings state a 56,000 BTU burner. The Rome Platinum and Paris Rectangle listings describe a stainless steel burner of up to 52,000 BTU, so treat the exact figure as something to confirm on the manual.
- Ignition: electronic ignition, described on the Rome Platinum listing as a battery powered push button spark (batteries sold separately).
- Fuel: every table we list is set up for a 20 lb propane tank stored in the base. The Rome Platinum and Paris Rectangle listings say a natural gas conversion kit is available separately.
- Cover: a matching lid closes the burn area so the table works as a normal table. Fire glass is not included on most models.

Heights for the Venice counter and Windsor dining tables come from the maker’s own pages for the Venice 52 in Round Counter Fire Table and the Windsor 84 x 44 dining table, because our listings for those two carry dimensions copied from other models. The maker names the Windsor table “with twin firepits”.
Rome fire table: granite or faux wood
The Rome collection has the most premium looking tops. The Rome 48 in Round Granite uses a mocha granite top with invisible grout and a matching granite cover, and the listing describes a concealed door with a caster system for the tank.
The Rome Platinum Aged Driftwood 53 x 35 is the most fully specified table in the line: CSA certified, 52,000 BTU, push button spark, a pull-out drawer for the tank, adjustable leveling feet, a matching burner cover, and a wind guard listed in the box. At 110 lb it is also the heaviest.
Venice fire table: chat, counter or bar
Venice is the only collection where one 52 in round top comes in three heights: chat, counter and bar. The maker lists the counter version at 38 in and the bar version at 41 in, each seating four stools. The Venice 48 in Round uses an Italian ceramic stone top instead of cast aluminum. There is also a Venice 72 x 40 rectangle for larger sofa groups, though we currently show it as two separate listings at the same price.
Bermuda, Paris, Windsor and Monarch
Bermuda and Paris are the plainer, lighter aluminum options; the Paris 49 in Square is the lowest priced table here. Windsor (48 in round, 84 x 44 dining) and the Monarch 52 in round fill out the line.
Who each model suits
- Small square patio, four club chairs: Paris 49 in Square or Bermuda 48 in Round.
- Stone look on a compact patio: Rome 48 in Round Granite.
- Sofa facing a fire, CSA listing and tank drawer matter: Rome Platinum 53 x 35.
- Stools and a kitchen bar feel: Venice 52 in Round Counter, or the bar height version.
- Dinner around the flame: Windsor 84 x 44 Dining, after you confirm seat count and knee room with us.
Pros and limits, from the specs
Pros: hidden propane storage on every model, a cover that turns the table into usable surface, aluminum frames that will not rust, a long stated frame warranty, and a rare choice of three heights in the Venice line.
Limits: fire glass and batteries are usually extra, wind guards are mostly sold separately, natural gas needs a conversion kit, and our listings for several models carry copied or conflicting specs. Most tables sit at 24 to 25 in, so if you want dining height your options narrow to Windsor.
What to check before buying
- Fuel and conversion. If you plan to run natural gas, ask us which conversion kit fits your table, and have a licensed gas professional run the line and convert the valve. Local code has the final word on where a gas table can go.
- Wind protection. A wind guard is listed in the box only for the Rome Platinum 53 x 35. For others, see the wind guard for Patio Resorts rectangle fire pans (listed at $366.10), and a round version is also sold.
- Cover and weather. The included lid covers the burner, not the whole table. Plan a fitted outdoor cover if the table sits out all winter.
- Height and seating. Measure your chair or stool seat height first. Our fire pit table height guide explains chat, dining, counter and bar spacing.
- Clearance. Follow the manual for clearance to walls, overhangs and plants.
